"Blog Y2 608 - Victory Belongs to the Lord"

And Asa cried out to the Lord his God, and said, ‘Lord, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O Lord our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God; do not let man prevail against You! 2 Chronicles 14:11. 

King Asa stood before a vast and powerful army, but instead of trusting in human strength, he turned to the Lord in prayer. God heard him and gave him victory. This passage reminds us that God does not depend on numbers or human power. Nothing is impossible for Him. He is the Commander of the Heavenly Army, with countless angels at His command. Even a single angel, sent by His word, is enough to defeat a mighty enemy.

God is able to send His angels to fight for His children, and even more, He Himself rises against those who come to harm us. No matter how overwhelming our battles may seem, or how weak we feel, they are nothing before the power of our Almighty God.

He is our loving Father, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, full of authority and power. He will never leave us nor forsake us. We must simply remember and hold on to the truth: we belong to the King of kings and Lord of lords. No human strength or force can prevail against Him. Psalm 20:7 says: “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.”

Reflection: Am I fully relying on the Almighty’s power, confident that no enemy or challenge can overcome me because He commands the armies of Heaven and fights on my behalf?

ஆசா தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு: கர்த்தாவே, பலமுள்ளவனுக்காகிலும் பலனற்றவனுக்காகிலும் உதவிசெய்கிறது உமக்கு லேசான காரியம்; எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, எங்களுக்குத் துணைநில்லும்; உம்மைச் சார்ந்து உம்முடைய நாமத்தில் ஏராளமான இந்தக் கூட்டத்திற்கு எதிராக வந்தோம்; கர்த்தாவே, நீர் எங்கள் தேவன்; மனுஷன் உம்மை மேற்கொள்ளவிடாதேயும் என்றான். 2 நாளாகமம் 14:11. 

ஆசா ராஜா ஒரு பெரிய, பலம்வாய்ந்த இராணுவத்திற்கு முன்பாக நின்றார், ஆனால் மனித பலத்தை நம்புவதற்குப் பதிலாக, அவர் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி ஜெபித்தார். தேவன் அவருடைய ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்டு அவருக்கு வெற்றியைக் கொடுத்தார். இந்த வேதப்பகுதி, தேவன் எண்ணிக்கையையோ அல்லது மனித வல்லமையையோ சார்ந்திருப்பதில்லை என்பதை நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. அவருக்கு எதுவும் அசாத்தியமில்லை. அவர் பரலோக சேனைகளின் அதிபதி, அவருடைய கட்டளையின் கீழ் எண்ணற்ற தூதர்கள் இருக்கிறார்கள். அவருடைய வார்த்தையால் அனுப்பப்படும் ஒரு தூதன் கூட, ஒரு பலத்த சத்துருவை தோற்கடிக்க போதுமானது.

தம்முடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்காகப் போராட தேவன் தம்முடைய தூதர்களை அனுப்ப வல்லவர், அதற்கும் மேலாக, நமக்கு தீங்கு செய்ய வருபவர்களுக்கு எதிராக அவரே எழும்புகிறார். நம்முடைய போர்கள் எவ்வளவு பெரியதாகத் தோன்றினாலும், அல்லது நாம் எவ்வளவு பலவீனமாக உணர்ந்தாலும், சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள நம் தேவனுடைய வல்லமைக்கு முன்பாக அவை ஒன்றுமில்லை.

அவர் நம் அன்புள்ள பிதா, வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் சிருஷ்டித்தவர், முழு அதிகாரமும் வல்லமையும் உள்ளவர். அவர் நம்மை ஒருபோதும் கைவிடமாட்டார், நம்மை விட்டு விலகமாட்டார். நாம் ராஜாதிராஜனும் கர்த்தாதி கர்த்தருமானவருக்குச் சொந்தமானவர்கள் என்ற உண்மையை நாம் நினைவில் வைத்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். எந்த மனித பலமோ அல்லது சக்தியோ அவரை வெல்ல முடியாது. சங்கீதம் 20:7 சொல்லுகிறது: “சிலர் இரதங்களைக்குறித்தும், சிலர் குதிரைகளைக்குறித்தும் மேன்மைபாராட்டுகிறார்கள்; நாங்களோ எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைக்குறித்தே மேன்மைபாராட்டுவோம்.”

சிந்திக்க: சர்வவல்லமையுள்ளவரின் பலத்தை நான் முழுமையாக நம்பி, பரலோக சேனைகளுக்கு அவரே கட்டளையிட்டு எனக்காகப் போரிடுகிறார் என்பதாலும், எந்த எதிரியும் சவாலும் என்னை மேற்கொள்ள முடியாது என்று நான் உறுதியாக நம்புகிறேனா?
