"Blog Y2 551 - Trusting God, Bearing Fruit"

But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever. Psalm 52:8.

There is a great difference between the one who trusts in God and the one who puts his confidence in worldly riches, forgetting the One who created him. The one who trusts in God is like a green olive tree, flourishing in the house of the Lord. His greatest joy and delight will be to dwell in God’s presence forever.

Like the olive tree, he will be deeply rooted, steadily growing, and bearing fruit in due season. When the olive is crushed, it produces oil that serves many purposes, so too, as believers planted in the house of God, we are called to be deeply rooted in faith, to bear lasting fruit, and to be used for God’s glory.

Our trust will remain forever in the Lord’s unchanging love and enduring mercy. Jeremiah 17:7 says: "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord."

Reflection: Am I deeply rooted in faith, like the olive tree in God’s house, steadily growing and bearing fruit for His glory, especially during challenging seasons?

நானோ தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தில் பச்சையான ஒலிவமரத்தைப் போலிருக்கிறேன்; தேவனுடைய கிருபையை என்றென்றைக்கும் நம்பியிருக்கிறேன். சங்கீதம் 52:8.

தேவனை நம்புகிறவனுக்கும், உலகப்பிரகாரமான செல்வங்களில் நம்பிக்கை வைத்து, தன்னைப் படைத்தவரை மறந்து விடுபவனுக்கும் நிறைய வித்தியாசம் இருக்கிறது. தேவனை நம்புகிறவன் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் செழித்தோங்குகிற பச்சையான ஒலிவமரத்தைப்போன்றவன். தேவனுடைய பிரசன்னத்தில் என்றென்றும் வாசம் செய்வதே அவனுடைய மிகப்பெரிய சந்தோஷமும் இன்பமும் ஆகும்.

ஒலிவ மரத்தைப்போல், அவன்  ஆழமாக வேரூன்றி, சீராக வளர்ந்து, ஏற்ற காலத்தில் கனி கொடுப்பான். ஆலிவ் பிழியப்படும்போது, அது பல நோக்கங்களுக்கு உதவும் எண்ணெயை உற்பத்தி செய்கிறது, அதேபோல், தேவனின் வீட்டில் நடப்பட்ட விசுவாசிகளாக, நாம் விசுவாசத்தில் ஆழமாக வேரூன்றவும், நீடித்த கனிகளைக் கொடுக்கவும், தேவனின் மகிமைக்காக பயன்படுத்தப்படவும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம்.

கர்த்தரின் மாறாத அன்பிலும் நீடித்த இரக்கத்திலும் நமது நம்பிக்கை என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருப்பதாக. எரேமியா 17:7 சொல்லுகிறது: “கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கைவைத்து, கர்த்தரைத் தன் நம்பிக்கையாகக் கொண்டிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்.”

சிந்திக்க: தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்திலுள்ள ஒலிவ மரத்தைப் போல, விசேஷமாக கடினமான காலங்களில், அவருடைய மகிமைக்காக சீராக வளர்ந்து கனிகளைக் கொடுத்து  விசுவாசத்தில் நான் ஆழமாக வேரூன்றியிருக்கிறேனா?
