"Blog Y2 620 - "Joy Comes In His Time"

Image
And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. Luke 1:14. True joy and gladness come only from being in the presence of God and from the blessings He graciously gives. As Proverbs 10:22 reminds us, “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” God’s blessings are pure, peaceful, and free from sorrow. Zechariah and Elizabeth had waited many years for their prayer to be answered. Though the answer came late in human eyes, it arrived at God’s perfect time before the birth of Jesus Christ. Their long-awaited blessing brought them deep joy, not only for themselves, but also for many others who rejoiced with them. In the same way, we too may be praying and waiting for a long time. But remember: God’s delays are not His denials. He will answer at the appointed time. When He does, it will bring a joy we’ve never experienced before, a joy that fulfills His purpose in and through our lives. Waiting on the Lord is never a wasted time. He uses...

"Blog Y2 619 - "His Strength Works in Me"

Image
Your God has commanded your strength; Strengthen, O God, what You have done for us. Psalm 68:28.  Our God is mighty and full of strength. On our own, we have no power, but because our Father is all-powerful, His strength is manifested through us. In our weakness, His power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). That’s why we must always remember who we are: “We are the children of the Most High, almighty God!” He is not a distant King sitting on His throne, silently watching us suffer. No, He personally comes forward to fight on our behalf. Time and time again, He proves that He is greater than anything or anyone in this world. No weapon formed against us will succeed (Isaiah 54:17), because our strength is not our own; it is commanded by God Himself. So at any moment, we can call upon Him. He is within us. And just like the psalmist, we too can pray: “Do it again, Lord, strengthen what You have begun in us!” Philippians 1:6 says: “ Being confident of this very thing, that He who ...

"Blog Y2 618 - "Reflecting Christ’s Meekness"

Image
Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5. Meekness is one of the most evident and beautiful characteristics of Jesus, and it should be clearly seen in the lives of God’s children. It is a powerful sign that we truly belong to Him. Just as a child naturally reflects the nature of their earthly father, we are called to reflect the nature of our Heavenly Father, which is revealed to us through Jesus Christ. This Christlike nature of meekness not only leads us to inherit the earth, but also prepares us for the eternal Kingdom. God Himself honored this character in the life of Moses, calling him the meekest man on earth. May God help us to be humble and gentle, reflecting the character of our gracious, loving Father. Let our lives be a true witness to His nature and bring Him glory always. Psalm 37:11 says: “But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” Reflection: Am I reflecting the gentle and humble heart of my ...

"Blog Y2 617 - "Jesus is Always With You"

Image
Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20. What a glorious and comforting promise our Lord Jesus Christ has given us! As His redeemed children and disciples, we are called to participate in the divine mission of building His Kingdom. He has entrusted us with His heavenly authority to go, teach, and make disciples of all nations. And with this great commission comes His unfailing promise: “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” This is not a temporary companionship, but an everlasting assurance. Every step we take to honor His name and spread His truth is met with His abiding presence. He walks with us, leads us, protects us, and empowers us. This promise is extended to all His children, but especially to those who faithfully walk as His disciples, those who obey His commands, love others, and reflect His light in a dark world. As we boldly declare we belong to Him, He also declares ...

"Blog Y2 616 - "I Am Crowned by Grace"

Image
LORD forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies. Psalms 103:3-4.  Our loving Father, Almighty God, gives us four beautiful blessings in these verses. His Word is Spirit and life, and it will never return void. Take these promises personally and receive them by faith: 1. He forgives all your iniquities. This is the greatest and most important blessing: the salvation of our souls. God has completely forgiven all our sins. He will never bring them to remembrance again. He sees us now as His righteous and blameless children, clothed in the righteousness of Christ. 2. He heals all your diseases. This is His promise for our physical bodies. Keep claiming this again and again. No sickness or disease has authority over us, because our body now belongs to the Lord. He is our Healer, and His healing power is at work in us.  3. He redeems your life from destruction, He re...

"Blog Y2 615 - Shielded by the Father's Love"

Image
For I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city. Acts 18:10. We are God’s chosen children, personally called by Him by our names. He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. The God of all flesh, the One who created the heavens and the earth, is our Father. What a blessing it is to belong to Him! In this verse, our Lord reassures us that He is with us. When God is on our side, no one can touch or harm us. Anyone who touches us is as if touching the apple of His eye. That’s how precious we are to Him. He surrounds us like a wall of fire. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. Even though we may see danger all around and the world may be filled with turmoil, our Father has promised to be with us until the end of the world. So, why should we fear or worry about the troubles of this life? Our God not only protects us from visible threats, but also shields us from hidden traps that the enemy sets before us. He will never hand us over ...

"Blog Y2 614 - Guarded by Heaven’s Power"

Image
For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We are living in a world full of turmoil. Every second, something is happening, often disturbing and evil. Wherever we look, we see chaos and trouble, because satan knows that his time is short. But our Almighty God is in complete control, and we do not need to panic. Our God is greater than all evil. He commands thousands upon thousands of angels. He alone has all authority and power over everything. Nothing can touch us without His knowledge. The Holy Spirit, God Himself, dwells within us. And the One who is in us is greater than anything in this world. Our God does not sit back and watch us suffer. When we cry out to Him, He immediately sends His angels to help and rescue us. They are ministering spirits, sent by God to serve and protect His children. And at times, God Himself steps into our situations, carrying us, comforting us, and delivering us. Hebrews 1:14 says: “Are they not all minister...

"Blog Y2 613 - Peace in His Presence"

Image
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. 2 Thessalonians ‭3:16. Yes! Our God is truly the God of peace. He alone can give everlasting peace to our hearts. Peace is not merely the absence of noise or trouble; it is the presence of God amidst the storm. Even when everything around us feels chaotic and unstable, if we carry the presence of the Almighty in our hearts, His peace will anchor us. When Jesus was traveling with His disciples, the sea became wild and uncontrollable. But our Lord stood up and spoke to the storm: “Peace, be still.” In an instant, everything came under His authority. In the same way, when God is in the boat of our lives, no matter how turbulent our situation may be, He is able to calm the storm. He is the God of peace, our source of unshakable calm in the midst of chaos. John 14:27 says:  “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubl...

"Blog Y2 612 - Love Overcomes All Bitterness"

Image
Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins. ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:12. Hatred and love are opposites; they cannot coexist in the same heart. Where love is present, hatred must flee. Holding onto grudges and hatred is not only spiritually harmful but can also affect our physical health. A heart filled with bitterness becomes a place where empathy cannot function, and forgiveness becomes difficult. But when our hearts are filled with love, everything begins to look different. We see people and situations through a positive and compassionate lens. Love brings healing, freedom, and unity. Romans 5:5 reminds us, “ …the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. ” If the Holy Spirit takes control of our lives, love will overflow from within us. There will be no room left for hatred. Let us ask our Father God to fill our hearts with His divine love. Let us pray that He removes all hatred, bitterness, and unforgiveness, and gives us the grace to see o...

"Blog Y2 611 - Anchored in His Grace"

Image
Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me! Psalms‬ ‭66‬:‭20‬. God our Father has graciously accepted our prayers, this means He has poured out even more of His abundant grace upon us. He answered not because we deserved it, but solely because of His mercy and grace. For these two things, we must be truly thankful. How privileged and blessed we are! Without His grace, we cannot even take a single step. He has made a covenant with us, as He promised in Isaiah 54:10 “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor My covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you. What a powerful promise! Even if the mountains move, His grace toward us will never be taken away. We are not worthy or deserving to be accepted by our Lord, yet in His compassion, He hears our prayers and showers us with His immeasurable grace. Psalm 145:18 says: “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to ...

"Blog Y2 610 - Anchored in Heavenly Hope"

Image
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. Jeremiah 17:7 . Our lives are built on what we trust and hope in. Many times, people place their trust and hope in money or in other people who seem to give them security. But all these things we see, wealth, status, and human promises, will eventually pass away. They are unstable and temporary. Our trust and hope must be in our mighty and marvelous God, who holds all authority and power. If we truly knew and understood who our God is, and who we are in Him, we would surely live, trust, and hope in Him alone. He knows every detail of our lives. Nothing escapes His sight. So let us keep moving forward, trusting in Him completely. Nothing is impossible for our God. Whatever we place in His hands becomes marvelous. When we fully trust and hope in Him, He does exceedingly above all that we can ask or imagine. Psalm 146:5 says: “Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the Lord his God.” Refle...

"Blog Y2 609 - Formed for His Purpose"

Image
Your hands have made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments. Psalm 119:73. Yes, it is our Father God’s hand that formed us. Even while we were in our mother’s womb, He was watching over every tiny detail of our growth. He sent us into this world with a divine purpose. His desire is that we lean on Him and listen to His voice every moment of our lives. It is a beautiful and humble prayer to ask God to give us a conscious heart and a willing mind to learn His commandments. Listening and reading His Word may be easy, but learning it deeply and putting it into practice requires the help of our Heavenly Father. Only when we walk in His commands do we truly please Him. And in doing so, we bring delight to His heart. Isaiah 64:8 says: “But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.” Reflection: Am I truly leaning on the One who shaped my life, and am I allowing His voice to guide my thoug...

"Blog Y2 608 - Victory Belongs to the Lord"

Image
And Asa cried out to the Lord his God, and said, ‘Lord, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O Lord our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God; do not let man prevail against You! 2 Chronicles 14:11.  King Asa stood before a vast and powerful army, but instead of trusting in human strength, he turned to the Lord in prayer. God heard him and gave him victory. This passage reminds us that God does not depend on numbers or human power. Nothing is impossible for Him. He is the Commander of the Heavenly Army, with countless angels at His command. Even a single angel, sent by His word, is enough to defeat a mighty enemy. God is able to send His angels to fight for His children, and even more, He Himself rises against those who come to harm us. No matter how overwhelming our battles may seem, or how weak we feel, they are nothing before the power of our Almighty God. He is our lo...

"Blog Y2 607 - Is My Temple Truly Holy?"

Image
Then He taught, saying to them, ‘Is it not written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations”? But you have made it a “den of thieves.” Mark 11:17. Our Lord Jesus reminded the people of the original purpose of God’s house: to be a house of prayer for all nations, a sacred place set apart for communion with God, intercession, and worship. However, what was meant to be holy had been turned into a place of greed and corruption. Today, there are two kinds of temples we must consider: The physical church, built with bricks and stones. Our own bodies, which are the living temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If we neglect the holiness of our inner temple, our body and soul, how can the physical church reflect true worship? “When our personal lives are consecrated to God, the churches we gather in will naturally become places of genuine prayer and worship.” Let us therefore examine ourselves. Are we treating our bodies as temples of the Living God? Are our th...
