"Blog Y2 615 - Shielded by the Father's Love"

For I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city. Acts 18:10.

We are God’s chosen children, personally called by Him by our names. He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. The God of all flesh, the One who created the heavens and the earth, is our Father. What a blessing it is to belong to Him!

In this verse, our Lord reassures us that He is with us. When God is on our side, no one can touch or harm us. Anyone who touches us is as if touching the apple of His eye. That’s how precious we are to Him.

He surrounds us like a wall of fire. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. Even though we may see danger all around and the world may be filled with turmoil, our Father has promised to be with us until the end of the world.

So, why should we fear or worry about the troubles of this life? Our God not only protects us from visible threats, but also shields us from hidden traps that the enemy sets before us. He will never hand us over to the enemy. He is our constant protector, our strong fortress, and our ever-present help in time of trouble. Jeremiah 1:8 says: “Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.

Reflection: Am I truly resting in the assurance that God’s protection surrounds me like a shield, and that no harm can come near because I am precious and deeply loved by Him?

நான் உன்னுடனேகூட இருக்கிறேன், உனக்குத் தீங்குசெய்யும்படி ஒருவனும் உன்மேல் கைபோடுவதில்லை; இந்தப் பட்டணத்தில் எனக்கு அநேக ஜனங்கள் உண்டு என்றார். அப்போஸ்தலர் 18:10.

நாம் தேவனால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட பிள்ளைகள், அவர் நம்மைப் பெயர் சொல்லி தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் அழைத்திருக்கிறார். அவர் நம்மை ஒருபோதும் விட்டு விலகுவதில்லை, கைவிடுவதில்லை என்று வாக்களித்திருக்கிறார். மாம்சமான அனைத்திற்கும் தேவனான, வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் சிருஷ்டித்த தேவனே நம்முடைய பிதாவாக இருக்கிறார். அவருக்குச் சொந்தமானவர்களாக இருப்பது எவ்வளவு பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதம்!

இந்த வசனத்தில், நம்முடைய கர்த்தர் நம்மோடு இருக்கிறார் என்று நமக்கு மீண்டும் உறுதியளிக்கிறார். தேவன் நம் பக்கமிருக்கையில், யாரும் நம்மைத் தொடவோ அல்லது காயப்படுத்தவோ முடியாது. நம்மைத் தொடுபவர் எவரும் அவருடைய கண்ணின் கருவிழியைத் தொடுவது போலாகும். நாம் அவருக்கு அவ்வளவு மதிப்புமிக்கவர்கள்.

அவர் நம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் அக்கினி மதிலைப் போல இருக்கிறார். நமக்கு விரோதமாக உருவாக்கப்படும் எந்த ஆயுதமும் வாய்க்காது. ஆபத்துகள் நம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் இருந்தாலும், உலகம் குழப்பத்தால் நிறைந்திருந்தாலும், உலக முடிபரியந்தம் நம்மோடு இருப்பேன் என்று நம் பிதா வாக்களித்திருக்கிறார்.

ஆகவே, இந்த வாழ்க்கையின் பிரச்சனைகளைக் குறித்து நாம் ஏன் பயப்பட வேண்டும் அல்லது கவலைப்பட வேண்டும்? நம்முடைய தேவன் நம்மை வெளிப்படையான அச்சுறுத்தல்களிலிருந்து பாதுகாப்பது மட்டுமல்லாமல், எதிரி நமக்கு முன்னால் வைக்கும் மறைக்கப்பட்ட பொறிகளிலிருந்தும் நம்மைப் பாதுகாக்கிறார். அவர் ஒருபோதும் நம்மை எதிரியிடம் ஒப்புவிப்பதில்லை. அவர் நம்முடைய நிலையான பாதுகாவலர், நம்முடைய பலத்த அரண், மற்றும் ஆபத்து காலங்களில் எப்போதும் உடனிருக்கும் உதவி. எரேமியா 1:8 சொல்லுகிறது: “நீ அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; உன்னைக் காக்கும்படிக்கு நான் உன்னுடனே இருக்கிறேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லி.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் தேவனுக்கு மிகவும் விலையேறப்பெற்றவனாகவும், அவரால் ஆழமாக நேசிக்கப்படுபவனாகவும் இருப்பதால், அவருடைய பாதுகாப்பு ஒரு கேடயம்போல் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துள்ளது என்பதையும், எந்தத் தீங்கும் என்னை அணுகாது என்பதையும் நான் உண்மையாகவே நம்பி அமைதியாயிருக்கிறேனா?
