"Blog Y2 658 - "God Hears the Humble"

Image
For the Lord hears the poor, and does not despise His prisoners. Psalm 69:33. Our God listens, and He answers. In His holy presence, every one of us is needy, even when we are not poor in money. There are empty rooms in the heart that no earthly thing can fill. Yet our Father delights to hear us: “Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear” (Isa. 65:24). He invites us to ask so that our joy may be full (John 16:24). The “prisoners” He does not despise are not only those behind physical bars. Many of us carry hidden chains of fear, guilt, addiction, bitterness, anxiety, or sin. But Jesus came “to proclaim liberty to the captives” (Isa.. 61:1; Luke 4:18). When we call on Him, He breaks bonds we cannot break ourselves (Ps. 107:13–14). So we come boldly to the throne of grace, certain that His ear is near to the humble. Reflection: Am I bringing the hidden emptiness of my heart to the Lord in prayer, trusting that He listens, cares, and can break the chain...

"Blog Y2 657 - "Eternal Power of God’s Word"

Image
I have seen the consummation of all perfection, But Your commandment is exceedingly broad. Psalm 119:96. Everything we see in this world has its own limits. No matter how perfect something may appear, one day it will come to an end. Our physical eyes can never find lasting perfection in anything created, because all of creation is temporary. As the book of Ecclesiastes reminds us, “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.” Whatever human beings build or achieve in this world will eventually fade away. But the Word of God is different. His commandments have no limits, no boundaries, no expiration. They are filled with Spirit and life, eternal in power and purpose. God’s Word always accomplishes the purpose for which it is sent; it never returns void. His Word brings freedom to the captive, light to those in darkness, and life to those who are perishing. When we meditate on the Word of God day and night, it begins to shape our thoughts, renew our minds, and guide our steps. His Word speaks, co...

"Blog Y2 656 - "Kindness Leads to Forgiveness"

Image
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32. Where there is kindness, there will also be forgiveness. Jesus Christ is our ultimate role model. When we were still sinners, He was gracious toward us and redeemed us with His love. Unlike us, who often see only the outward appearance, Jesus looks at the heart. When someone wrongs us, we are called to have the Spirit of Christ, to forgive them just as He forgave us. That is true kindness. Let us ask our loving Father to fill us with His love, just as He has loved us. Let us pray for eyes filled with compassion, hearts overflowing with love, and the empathy needed to care for others. And just as God has forgiven us, let us forgive and forget completely those who have wronged us. Colossians 3:13 says: "Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do."  Reflection: Am...

"Blog Y2 655 - "Love Beyond All Measure"

Image
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8. The Bible says that no one would willingly give up his life even for his own child. If someone does lay down his life, that is the greatest sacrifice in this world. On the other hand, if the person had done something wrong against him, no one would be willing to die for him. But our Heavenly Father sent His only begotten Son to take our place, even though we had completely gone against His will.  Instead of waiting for us to become holy or perfect, He met us in our brokenness. This truth should give us great hope in times of weakness. Even when we fail, His love remains strong, and His forgiveness is always available. Out of love, He chose the cross; through His sacrifice, our sins were nailed there; and by His salvation, we now have eternal life. The cross stands as the ultimate demonstration of love that never fails, a sacrifice that redeems us, and a salvation that r...

"Blog Y2 654 - "Lifted in God's Strength"

Image
You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth. Psalm 71:20. Sometimes God allows us to go through troubles, not to destroy us, but to mold us and strengthen our faith. The pain is real, and the hurt can feel heavy, but He never allows us to face anything beyond what we can endure with Him. Even when we feel alone, He is carrying us. At times we may think the footprints on the path are ours, but in truth, we are on His shoulders, He is carrying us and walking with us. He will never allow us to sink. Though it may seem like He is silent, at the right time He will raise us up. He will restore and revive us so that we can walk with Him toward His eternal Kingdom. If right now we feel like we are walking the hardest path, we can still take courage, because He is with us. He will not let troubles to overcome, and deliver us without delay in His perfect timing. He will lift us up and restore us. Hosea 6:2 says: ...

"Blog Y2 653 - "God's Love Sustains Me"

Image
Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23. God’s love never ends and never ceases. It is a steadfast, loyal love that never runs dry. Unlike us, whose moods and emotions rise and fall, His love remains constant. In human relationships, when our feelings fluctuate, people may draw back from us. But our God is faithful; every morning He pours out fresh grace upon us. Without His grace, we could not stand in this world. Each new day begins with His mercy greeting us like a fresh dawn. How wonderful and immeasurable is His faithfulness, beyond our thoughts and beyond any measure! The very fact that we are still breathing, still able to smile, is proof of His sustaining grace. Therefore, let us run to His presence every morning. Our first and best moments of the day should be offered to Him. Let us give our first love to the Lord, who is ever faithful and whose compassions ne...

"Blog Y2 652 - "Sing of His Excellence"

Image
Sing to the Lord, for He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth. Isaiah 12:5. Our God is the One who does marvelous things and brings forth beauty out of nothing. Yes, we should sing and praise our God not only with our lips but also through our lifestyle, so that the world may know how excellent He is in performing miracles in our lives. Whatever God does is great and wonderful, beyond human understanding. No one can remain silent when they have personally experienced the wonders of God. He is the Creator of heaven and earth, the Most High God. Who are we that He should care for us? Yet in His love, He works miracles in our lives every single day. Every moment, every breath we take, is itself a miracle. Our God alone deserves all glory and honor. Let us lift our voices, our hearts, and our lives to sing and glorify Him forever. Psalm 98:1 says: “Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the vi...

"Blog Y2 651 - "God Dwells Within Me"

Image
Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20. We often fail to recognize how near our Father God truly is. There are many times we don’t feel His presence, not because He is distant, but because our focus is fixed on the situations surrounding us, just like Apostle Peter, who began to sink when he took his eyes off Jesus and looked at the storm. But the truth is this: our Father God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are far closer than we can ever imagine. In fact, He is in us! The Almighty God, who is greater than every challenge and circumstance we face in this world, dwells within His children. Satan often tries to portray himself as powerful and intimidating, but we must never forget that  he is only a created being. Our God is the Creator , the Maker of Heaven and Earth. Satan is under God’s authority. Our living God has promised to be with us always, even to the end of this age. That p...

"Blog Y2 650 - "Living in Love and Peace"

Image
Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11. When love is present, forgiveness will follow, and peace will rule our hearts. In Tamil, it is clearly expressed that our God is the trustworthy source and reason for love and peace. We are called to live in harmony, comfort, and love with one another, and then the God of love and peace will dwell in us. How does this spirit of love and harmony come? It comes when we yield our lives to Christ and surrender ourselves into His hands. As a result, His love and peace will govern our hearts and lives. According to Romans 5:5, when the Holy Spirit dwells in us, God’s love is poured into our hearts. This love enables us even to love those who stand against us. Jesus Christ is our perfect role model. Even though we deny Him many times through our thoughts and actions, He still loves us unconditionally. Therefore, we must never let...

"Blog Y2 649 - "Guided by His Truth"

Image
Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, and I shall keep it to the end. Psalm 119:33. This verse is both a prayer and a promise to God. Our Lord delights in teaching us and directing us on the right path. But on our side, we must humbly ask Him to teach us. God has already sent His Holy Spirit to dwell in us, to guide us into all truth, and to direct us in the way we should go. The world also teaches us many things, some may appear pleasant and good for the moment, but in the end, they lead to disaster. When the Holy Spirit teaches us, He leads us into the right path that brings us to eternal life. Just like the psalmist, we too should pray earnestly for God to teach us, while committing ourselves to obey His statutes with a sincere heart. And not only for a short while, but faithfully until our very last breath. Psalm 119:112 says: "I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes forever, to the very end."  Reflection: Am I seeking wisdom from Him daily, and am I fait...

"Blog Y2 648 - "God Makes Impossible Possible"

Image
But He said, ‘The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.' Luke 18:27. The world often believes that human strength, knowledge, and power can accomplish everything. To some extent, people may succeed, but there are limits. No one can control natural disasters, and many who deny God eventually come to realize that He alone is the Creator of heaven and earth. Human efforts can achieve certain things, but not all things. One thing that is completely beyond man’s ability is SALVATION. No one can save themselves from sin. Only God can redeem a sinner and lead them into a holy life. God gave us a way through the cross. Whatever seems impossible in our personal, family, or social life, we must place in the hands of God. He alone has the power to make it possible. Nothing is beyond Him. From nothing, He can create something beautiful and perfect. So, no matter what situation we face, when it looks impossible for man, let us boldly declare with faith: “THE THINGS WHICH A...

"Blog Y2 647 - "His Mercy Restores All"

Image
And gave their land as a heritage, For His mercy endures forever. Psalm 136:21. When our God divided the portion of land among the Israelites, it was truly amazing. That land belonged to them, but for a time it was under the captivity of other kings. Yet our Lord God fought for His people and gave them their inheritance, because His mercy endures forever. In our personal lives, the enemy also tries to capture many areas of our lives. But our Almighty God never remains silent. In His unfailing lovingkindness, He restores everything and gives back what we have lost, whether it be in the spiritual or physical areas of our lives.  His love never changes, His mercy endures forever, and He is able to restore completely all that we thought was gone. Psalm 136:22 says: “He gave their land as a heritage, A heritage to Israel His servant, For His mercy endures forever.” Reflection: Am I trusting that I will see God restore every area the enemy has taken from me, believing His mercy and lovi...

"Blog Y2 646 - "Seeking God Above All"

Image
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33. The world shouts, “Chase after more!” Yet the more we grasp, the emptier we feel. Deep within every heart is a hollow place, one that no treasure, no applause, no earthly pleasure can fill. Only God can fill that sacred space. Only in His presence will our souls be truly satisfied. This is why He whispers, “Seek Me first.” When our eyes are fixed on His Kingdom and our hearts on His righteousness, blessings will quietly follow, like rivers flowing from the source. Our God already holds every good gift in abundance. But He calls us to seek Him, not for what He can give, but for who He is, the Lord we love with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. And when He sees our hunger for Him, He will open the floodgates of heaven. Not just to meet our needs, but to overflow them. So let us rise each day with one purpose: to seek God first, and watch as everything else falls bea...

"Blog Y2 645 - "My Eternal King Reigns"

Image
For God is my King from of old, Working salvation in the midst of the earth. Psalms 74:12. From the very beginning, before the world was formed, our God has been King! He is eternal, unchanging, and sovereign over all creation. In a world that is constantly shifting and unstable, our God remains seated on His throne, reigning with authority, power, and righteousness. He is not a distant ruler but a loving and active King who reigns over every part of our lives—physical, spiritual, and worldly. He is our eternal King, and He is coming again soon to reign in glory! The great work He is continually accomplishing is salvation. He has already rescued us through the finished work of Jesus Christ, and even now, He is working salvation in the midst of the earth, in our lives, in our communities, and especially in the lives of our loved ones for whom we are praying. Our King rules with the purpose to protect us, sanctify us, and keep us blameless until our very last breath. Let us trust in His ...

"Blog Y2 644 - "Loved Through His Discipline"

Image
O Lord, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. Isaiah 12:1. Our Lord God’s love is truly amazing. As our Heavenly Father, He has every right to correct us. His nature is both kind and compassionate, yet He disciplines us because we are His children. At times, His correction may feel hard, but it flows from His deep love for us. Psalm 30:5 says: “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” Yes, His anger lasts only for a moment, but His love, grace, and mercy endure forever. We know we are not yet perfect, but we are on the journey toward perfection. Our Father God is Holy, Holy, Holy! Let us surrender ourselves into His mighty, holy hands, allowing Him to correct us, discipline us, and lead us into His perfect ways, so that we may inherit His eternal Kingdom and live with Him forever. Reflection: Am I willing to accept my Heavenly Father’s loving corre...

"Blog Y2 643 - "Cared All Through Life"

Image
Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you. Isaiah 46:4. What a powerful assurance from the God who created heaven and earth! Then why are we still worrying and stumbling? The One giving this promise is not an ordinary person. He is the Almighty God who holds all power and authority, who never says anything He will not fulfill. If He says it, that is the final word. We are the apple of His eye. He has promised that until the end of this world, He will be with us. Not only now, but until we see Him face to face, He will never leave us nor forsake us. Even in our old and stumbling age, when we feel our strength fading, He assures us that even when our hair turns gray, He will carry us, protect us, help us, and rescue us. When we feel weak or unable to move forward in life, God will personally sustain and uphold us. This verse is God’s lifelong guarantee, from your birth until your final bre...

"Blog Y2 642 - "Delighting in the Lord"

Image
Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4. We all carry many desires in our hearts, and that is natural. But for our wishes to be truly blessed, they must be aligned with God’s will. When we draw near to His heart and live to please Him, our desires begin to change. We start to praise and worship Him, not only for what He gives, but for who He is, for our God is faithful. He has promised that if we delight in Him, He will fulfill the desires of our hearts. And here is the beauty: when we walk closely with our Heavenly Father, our desires become His desires, and His desires become ours. So let us rejoice, be glad, and delight ourselves in the Lord! For in His love, He shapes our hearts, satisfies our souls, and grants the deepest longings that reflect His perfect will. How blessed we are to have such a loving God as our Father! Matthew 6:33 says: "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shal...

"Blog Y2 641 - "Loved by the Eternal King"

Image
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 1 John 3:1. Yes, we are God’s beloved children. The God who created the heavens and the earth is pouring out His deep, unfailing love upon us. We can rejoice and be honored to be called His children, not because we are worthy, but because of His grace and mercy. The world cannot recognize us as children of the Most High God, the One who is coming soon as the King of kings and Lord of lords, because it does not know Him. The truth is, nothing in this world is God except Him alone. Let us give all our praise, glory, and honor to Him. Let us love Him with all our heart, soul, and mind. And let us be ready to meet Him face to face, for He is coming soon! John 1:12 says: "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." Reflection: Am I living eac...

"Blog Y2 640 - "Safe in His Hands"

Image
Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You from those who rise up against them. Psalm 17:7. What a marvelous prayer for a child of the Most High, all powerful, and mighty God! When we call upon Him and stand boldly in our royal identity as His children, He will surely answer our prayers. His righteous right hand is always with us to rescue us from every kind of trouble we face, especially from the enemies who rise up against us. He Himself will stand for us, fight on our behalf, and redeem us from every evil trap. Trust Him! He will handle both your seen and unseen battles. The battle belongs to Him, the victory is ours! Our God never slumbers nor sleeps. He watches over us day and night and takes full control of every detail of our lives. With Him as our Defender and Shepherd, we are always safe and secure. Psalm 36:7 says: “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Yo...

"Blog Y2 639 - "Reflect God’s Mercy"

Image
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Matthew 5:7. Mercy is the very nature of our God. He alone is abundantly merciful toward us. When we take a moment to reflect on our lives, we can see how often we have denied Him, through our thoughts, words, and actions. Yet, in His great love, He continues to show us mercy. Now that we are His children, His nature must be seen in us. We are called to be filled with His love, compassion, and mercy. Those around us should see His character reflected through our lives. Even if we try to follow all that our Father God has taught us, if we do not have love, we are nothing (1 Corinthians 13:2). We are placed in this world to reflect the nature of our Heavenly Father. Wherever we go, we must move with love, compassion, and grace. Let His mercy shine through our lives so that others may see Him in us. And as we extend mercy, we too shall receive it. Let us be lights in this world, revealing the mercy of God and inheriting the blessings ...

"Blog Y2 638 - "Blessed to Be a Blessing"

Image
And it shall come to pass that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, let your hands be strong. Zechariah‬ ‭8:13. Since the house of Judah and Israel was cursed, serving as an example and warning to the people, we may think that we are a symbol of the curse, but now our loving Savior is promising and breaking all our bondage of curse and telling us that we are going to be a blessing to all. One of God’s marvelous natures is to make the broken things into beautiful things to be used in a marvelous way. Yes, He will save us and make us a blessing to all. He blesses us to be a blessing. We don't need to fear about our broken situation; let us give every broken part of our lives to Jesus.  He is always there to make us beautiful. We are His children, let us give up ourselves in His hands. He will mend and mold us to be a useful and perfect vessel. Isaiah 41:10 says: “Fear not, for ...

"Blog Y2 637 - "Faith Overcomes Every Fear"

Image
I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4. Fear is a sign of faithlessness. If we truly believe in our Lord God, fear cannot rule our hearts. Still, as we live in this unstable and chaotic world, it is natural for human beings to feel fear. The events unfolding around us can easily unsettle us. But as children of God, we must learn to lift our eyes to our Heavenly Father and ask Him to hold our hands. In the Bible, our loving Father tells us “Do not fear” almost 365 times, one assurance for each day of the year. Every time fear enters our hearts, let us immediately turn to God. He will embrace us, calm our spirits, and drive away our fears. He fully understands every thought and emotion we carry. Our only part is to seek Him, and He will surely deliver us from all our fears. We have a mighty God who reigns from His eternal throne! Nothing is beyond His authority or power. Therefore, we have no reason to fear or worry. He is with us always. Psalm...
