"Blog Y2 642 - "Delighting in the Lord"

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4.

We all carry many desires in our hearts, and that is natural. But for our wishes to be truly blessed, they must be aligned with God’s will. When we draw near to His heart and live to please Him, our desires begin to change. We start to praise and worship Him, not only for what He gives, but for who He is, for our God is faithful.

He has promised that if we delight in Him, He will fulfill the desires of our hearts. And here is the beauty: when we walk closely with our Heavenly Father, our desires become His desires, and His desires become ours.

So let us rejoice, be glad, and delight ourselves in the Lord! For in His love, He shapes our hearts, satisfies our souls, and grants the deepest longings that reflect His perfect will. How blessed we are to have such a loving God as our Father! Matthew 6:33 says: "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

Reflection: Am I finding joy in my Heavenly Father so deeply that my longings are shaped by His heart and my deepest wishes reflect His perfect plan for my life?

கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு; அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை உனக்கு அருள்செய்வார்.சங்கீதம் 37:4.

நம்முடைய இருதயங்களில் பல ஆசைகள் இருப்பது இயல்புதான். ஆனால், நம்முடைய ஆசைகள் உண்மையாகவே ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட வேண்டுமென்றால், அவை தேவனுடைய சித்தத்திற்கு இணங்கியிருக்க வேண்டும். நாம் அவருடைய இருதயத்திற்கு நெருக்கமாக இருந்து, அவரைப் பிரியப்படுத்த வாழ்ந்தால், நம்முடைய ஆசைகள் மாறத் தொடங்கும். அவர் கொடுப்பதற்காய் மட்டுமல்ல, அவர் யார் என்பதற்காகவும் நாம் அவரைப் புகழவும் ஆராதிக்கவும் தொடங்குவோம். ஏனென்றால், நம்முடைய தேவன் உண்மையுள்ளவர்.

நாம் அவரில் மகிழ்ச்சியாய் இருந்தால், நம்முடைய இருதயத்தின் ஆசைகளை அவர் நிறைவேற்றுவார் என்று வாக்குறுதி கொடுத்திருக்கிறார். இங்குதான் அதன் அழகு இருக்கிறது: நாம் நம்முடைய பரம பிதாவுடன் நெருக்கமாக நடக்கும்போது, நம்முடைய ஆசைகள் அவருடைய ஆசைகளாகவும், அவருடைய ஆசைகள் நம்முடைய ஆசைகளாகவும் மாறுகின்றன.

ஆகவே, நாம் கர்த்தரில் களிகூர்ந்து, மகிழ்ச்சியாய் இருப்போம், அவருக்குள் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாய் இருப்போம்! ஏனென்றால், அவருடைய அன்பில், அவர் நம் இருதயங்களை வடிவமைக்கிறார், நம் ஆத்துமாக்களை திருப்தியாக்குகிறார், அவருடைய பரிபூரண சித்தத்தை பிரதிபலிக்கும் நம்முடைய ஆழமான ஏக்கங்களை நிறைவேற்றுகிறார். அப்படிப்பட்ட அன்பான தேவன் நம்முடைய பிதாவாக இருப்பது எவ்வளவு ஆசீர்வாதம்! மத்தேயு 6:33 சொல்லுகிறது: "முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக் கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்."

சிந்திக்க: என்னுடைய பரம பிதாவில் நான் மிகவும் அதிகமான  மகிழ்ச்சியைக் கண்டு, அதனால் என் ஏக்கங்கள் அவருடைய இருதயத்தால் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டு, என் ஆழ்ந்த விருப்பங்கள் என் வாழ்க்கையைப் பற்றிய அவருடைய பரிபூரண திட்டத்தைப் பிரதிபலிக்கிறதா?
