Blog Y3 685 - "Draw Near to God"

Image
Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, that  it cannot hear.  Isaiah 59:1. “Behold” means stop, look, and pay attention. So often we fail to recognize that God’s hand is always with us. Throughout Scripture, whenever God’s hand was upon His people, they were never left alone. They were guided, protected, and upheld by His mighty power. That same strong and faithful hand is still with us today. His hands are never weak, powerless, or inactive to redeem us. The true hindrance is not with Him, but with us, our doubts, disobedience, or wandering hearts. This is why our prayer should be: “Lord, do not let go of us. Hold our hands tightly, for if we try to hold Yours, we may let go and run away. But if You hold us, we are safe forever.” His hand is strong and mighty, and He is able to do marvelous things in our lives. In the same way, God’s ear is not deaf to the cries of His people. He is always ready to listen. He Himself has promised in ...

Blog Y3 684 - "Enduring Faith in Christ"

Image
Therefore , do not cast away your confidence, which has a great reward. Hebrews 10:35. Confidence and faith in God are gifts from Him. When we look back and see how God has led us in amazing ways, we realize that even though we have gone through many ups and downs, His grace has sustained us, and His presence has never left us. He is the Author and Perfecter of our faith. The Lord Himself warned that in the last days, true and genuine faith would be rare. God never promised us a life without pain, but He promised His grace, His presence, His peace, and His unfailing love to carry us through. Great rewards await all who patiently wait on the Lord and endure in faith. That is why we must not give up.  On our own, we cannot hold firm, for the trials and storms of life can easily shake our faith. But when we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we can boldly declare: “Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Our God speaks to us: “Be of good courage, for I have...

Blog Y3 683 - "Blessed to Bless Others"

Image
God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. Psalms 67:7. God’s blessings are not limited to physical needs alone but also include spiritual blessings that enrich our souls. He blesses His people so that the whole world may come to know Him, honor Him, and stand in awe of His greatness. His blessings are never meant for us to keep to ourselves but to reveal His glory to all the nations. When God blesses His children, it is so that we may become a blessing to others. Those who experience His goodness through us will be led to glorify our Heavenly Father. The “fear” spoken of here is not a fear of panic or dread, but a deep reverence and awe that fills the heart when people hear of God’s mighty works in the lives of His children. As recipients of His blessings, we are called to live in such a way that our lives bring glory and magnify God alone. Unlike worldly blessings that fade away and often bring worry or sorrow, God’s blessings are lasting and eternal. He adds n...

Blog Y3 682 - "Guarded by His Salvation"

Image
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Psalms 51:12. Salvation is the most precious gift in this world. God has graciously given us salvation, but we must remain steadfast in it until our very last breath. On our own, this is not possible, but what is impossible for us becomes possible only through our God. That is why He has given us the Holy Spirit to dwell within us. We should enter into His presence every moment of our lives. It is not limited to kneeling or taking a particular posture, because His presence already abides in us. What we truly need is to recognize His presence, rely completely on Him, and allow Him to guide us and keep us safe throughout our spiritual journey until the very end. Let us make it our constant prayer to restore to us the joy of His salvation. As human beings, we may stumble or slip away from His divine plan, but our Lord, who protects us, is always with us. May this become our daily prayer: that the joy of salvat...

Blog Y3 681 - "Living with Gentle Strength"

Image
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Philippians 4:5. When we read the Bible, we see that Jesus Christ is gentle and humble at heart. As His children, we should ask Him daily to make us more like Him. He never pressures or forces anyone to come to Him. Instead, He lovingly knocks at the door of our hearts, patiently waiting. If we are willing, He enters in and fellowships with us. Similarly, God calls us to live with a gentle spirit. That means showing graciousness, tolerance, patience, kindness, and unselfishness in our daily lives. As we grow closer to Christ, these qualities will naturally flow out of us. When we choose to live like Jesus, our lives become a reflection of His character. Step by step, our gentleness will shine forth, drawing people around us to the love of God.  Gentleness is not weakness; it is strength under control, anchored in Christ. It shows the world that we belong to Him and points others to our Savior, who is near and coming soon...

Blog Y3 680 - "Keys to True Blessing"

Image
He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. Proverbs 16:20. This verse shows us two keys to living a truly blessed life: We must heed God’s Word. It is not enough just to listen; we should pay close attention and obey it. When we follow His instructions with a conscious and willing heart, His Word will guide us along the right path and lead us to make the right choices. The result will be a life richly blessed with His goodness. We must trust in the Lord. Trusting is deeper than ordinary belief. It means total surrender, relying fully on God without wavering in our heart or spirit. When we place our complete trust in Him, we will experience true blessing. As children of our Father God, we are richer than the wealthiest people in this world, because we have Him as our portion. Therefore, let us listen carefully to His Word and obey His instruction. Let us also trust Him wholeheartedly, without any doubt, for in doing so, we will live as tr...

Blog Y3 679 - "Singing of His Mercy"

Image
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 89:1. Our loving Father’s mercy and grace endure forever. Whenever we turn the pages of our lives, we can clearly see and realize that His mercy and grace have sustained us. The very breath we take each moment is because of His grace. When we truly recognize this in our hearts, we cannot remain silent. Our hearts will overflow with gratitude, and we will find ourselves continually singing praises to our loving Father God. And as our mouths are filled with songs of thanksgiving, we will also share His faithfulness with others, especially with our children. By hearing and seeing how God has poured His countless mercies and amazing grace into our lives, our children, too, will learn to trust Him. They will come to know how His grace and mercy can lead them in supernatural ways, and they will continue to practice and enjoy His mercies in their own lives. Luke 1:50 s...

Blog Y3 678 - "Unfailing Love and Lasting Joy"

Image
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5. Our God is love, but He is also righteous. He hates sin, but not the sinner. When we make mistakes or go against His will, He shows His anger to discipline us, but even that comes from His love and lasts only for a moment. His correction draws us back to Him and helps us grow closer to Him. God’s love, however, is beyond comparison. Nothing can change it, and it remains with us for our whole lives. It is a love that never gives up on us. The Lord did not promise us a life without sorrow or pain, but He assures us that sorrow and tears will come to an end. Our trials will give way to joy. His fresh mercies and deliverance will cover us in due time. No matter how dark the night of suffering seems, the light of God’s joy will surely come. Psalm 126:5 says: “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.”  Reflection: Am I trusting that even when I face sorr...

Blog Y3 677 - "God is Strength in My Weakness"

Image
Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours,.... Have I not sent you?” Judges 6:14. In Gideon’s time, he and his people had lost all hope. They were in a difficult and helpless situation, with no one to rise up against the Midianites. Gideon himself was discouraged and weak in spirit, forgetting that the Lord is Jehovah Nissi, our banner of victory. It was in that very moment of weakness that the Lord of hosts, the God of mighty armies, appeared to Gideon and spoke to him. Though Gideon had only a little strength, God called him to move forward with that strength. The One who sent him was none other than the Almighty God! And through Him, Gideon brought victory and joy to the people of Israel. In the same way, we too may face situations where we feel drained of all strength and hope. But let us remember: the God who is within us is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Not by our power, not by our might, but by the Spirit of God, we can stand firm,...

Blog Y3 676 - "God My Perfect Strength"

Image
It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. Psalm 18:32. Our God not only gives us strength, He Himself is our strength. We live in a world that constantly demands endurance, both physically and spiritually. Human strength alone is limited; it can only carry us so far before it falters. But the strength that comes from God is limitless, supernatural, and life transforming. When we rely on our own power, we quickly find ourselves in chaos, facing ups and downs, frustrations, and disappointments. At some point, our natural strength and hope run dry. Yet, when we surrender fully to God and allow Him to be our strength, everything changes. He arms us with divine power, enabling us to face trials, overcome temptations, and walk victoriously. The psalmist declares that God not only strengthens but also makes our way perfect. The word “perfect” here means blameless, complete, and aligned with God’s will. This does not mean we become flawless in ourselves, but that as we yie...

Blog Y3 675 - "Heirs of God’s Promise"

Image
Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Genesis 28:14. The promises given to Abraham are also for us, because the same God who called Abraham has called us and made us his descendants through faith. This promise belongs to us as well. We are the beloved children of God, loved with His unfailing and unconditional love. Yet just as the dust spreads everywhere, God has promised to multiply and bless our descendants. The words, “In you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed,” find their ultimate fulfillment in Jesus Christ, the promised Seed of Abraham and Jacob. Through Christ, the blessing of salvation is not limited to Israel but extends to the Gentiles. The apostle Paul confirms this in Galatians 3:14, saying, “that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we ...

Blog Y3 674 - "New Paths and Fresh Wonders"

Image
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19. This is a beautiful and amazing promise, not from man, but from God Himself. He is the Creator who brought everything into existence by His word when the world was still empty and void. Today, He is confirming to us that He is going to do new things in our lives. New means something beyond our imagination, something we have never even thought of, dreamed of, or expected. Our God, the Almighty, who rules heaven and earth, is the One who makes a way where there seems to be no way. Just as He creates a path through the wilderness and rivers in the desert, He can open doors in impossible situations. The old things in our lives will pass away, and He will lead us into a new and beautiful way. His work in us will be so fresh and marvelous that it will erase the painful memories of the past and fill our minds with His goodness. Yes,...

Blog Y3 673 - "Strength in His Promises"

Image
Let, I pray, Your merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to Your word to Your servant. Psalms 119:76. The Psalmist is calling us all to pray to God and claim the promises God has given us. Among all His promises, eternal life is the greatest and most glorious one. This promise comes to pass only through His grace. Yes, that is our true hope and comfort. Whenever we go through hard times, we must remember His grace. Whenever we feel weak or when situations bring discouragement or depression, we should take hold of His grace. In those moments, we should pray like the psalmist: “Lord, You promised Your servant Your unfailing love and gracious kindness.” Not only this, but our God has also given us countless promises for every situation in life. As His children, we have the royal privilege to claim them in faith. And surely, He will fulfill what He has promised. Psalm 119:50 says: “This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life.” Reflection: Am I holdi...

Blog Y3 672 - "Guarded by His Nearness"

Image
The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. Psalm 121:5. Our Lord God is our perfect Protector. Some dangers we can see with our own eyes, but many are hidden from us, yet God sees them all. He promises to protect us completely. This promise is personal, meant for anyone who believes and claims it by faith. We can place our own names wherever we see the word “you” in this verse. The right hand is a place of strength, honor, and importance, and our God, who created the heavens and the earth, promises to stand right there beside us. Just as shade shields us from the scorching sun, God shields us from harm, danger, and spiritual attacks. Our God is never far away. He is standing in the closest and strongest position, guarding the place where we are most vulnerable. He is near enough to defend, protect, and refresh us at all times. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says: “But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.” All glory be to God, our K...

Blog Y3 671 - "Living to Bless Others"

Image
Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness. 2 Corinthians 9:10. Our God is the One who provides seed to the sower so that he may reap a great harvest. The seed belongs to Him, and He is the One who causes it to grow. Our loving Father created each of us with a divine purpose, not to waste our lives, but to live fruitfully. He desires that we become a blessing to others. Through Abraham’s blessing, we have already been made recipients of His abundant grace. He blesses us so that we, in turn, may bless those in need. From a spiritual perspective, the Lord has planted His Word, the seed of life, within us. It is not meant to be kept to ourselves, but to be shared with those who are thirsty and hungry for His Kingdom. We are Kingdom-minded people, called to make an impact both physically and spiritually. Let us faithfully share both our material and spiritual blessings with those wh...

Blog Y3 670 - "Grace That Never Fails"

Image
For His merciful kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the   Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord! Psalm 117:2. How often we forget to reflect on God’s grace and faithfulness in our lives! We take so many blessings for granted, yet without His grace, we could not even take a single step. God has poured out His abundant grace upon us, grace that sustains, protects, and leads us each day. We only see the present moment, but our God knows every moment of our past, present, and future. He has given us countless promises, and unlike human promises that can fail, His promises are unshakable. He will never change His mind, for His faithfulness endures forever. (Numbers 23:19; Lamentations 3:22-23). When we truly experience His grace and faithfulness, we cannot remain silent. Our hearts must overflow with praise, just like the psalmist. Yes, His love, grace, and faithfulness endure forever! He has conquered our hearts with His unfailing, unconditional love and grace. He never...

Blog Y3 669 - "God is With Me Always"

Image
The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Psalm 46:7. Our God has multitudes of angels! He is the Lord of hosts, and He commands His angels to protect us. See how blessed we are that mighty God is our Father! He is not far away; He is very near. In fact, He is within us. He is omnipotent, all-powerful. Jacob was not perfect. In fact, to receive God’s blessing, he wrestled with Him. Yet our God is a covenant-keeping God. He was with Jacob. He blessed him, and He fulfilled His promises. That same mighty, covenant-keeping God is with us today. Our God is not only powerful but also safe, loving, and protective. This verse is a reminder of reassurance, comfort, and courage. When chaos surrounds us, we can stand firm because God fights for us and shelters us. Isaiah 41:10 says: “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Reflection: Am I living each day wit...

Blog Y3 668 - "Confidence in God Alone"

Image
In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? Psalm 56:11. This verse is a bold declaration of faith. David, the writer of this psalm, was in great danger, surrounded by enemies who wanted to destroy him. Yet he proclaimed his trust in God with confidence. His question, “What can man do to me?” is not a denial that people can harm us physically, but a statement of faith that no human action can ultimately separate us from God’s plan, God’s presence, or God’s promises. When we place our full trust in God, fear begins to lose its grip on us. Fear is one of the enemy’s greatest weapons because fear weakens our faith and distracts us from God’s power. But Scripture reminds us that God is greater than any power in this world (1 John 4:4), and that no one can snatch us out of His hand. Satan is real, but he is a created being, not equal to God. He has power only because God allows it for a season, and the Bible tells us that his time is short. Because he knows this...

Blog Y3 667 - "Trust Brings Lasting Joy"

Image
But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You. Psalms 5:11. We are truly blessed and favored children when we place our trust fully in God. Sometimes we say we trust Him, but deep down in our hearts, we still rely on human strength or powerful people in this world. We often forget how great and mighty our God is! When we truly trust Him, we can rest knowing that He will guide and protect us in every situation. He never abandons those who put their hope in Him. Instead of worrying, we can keep praising Him with confidence and shout for joy, because we are safe under His mighty hands. And when we begin to love His Name with all our heart, that love overflows within us, filling us with unshakable joy. Let us trust Him more deeply and love Him more wholeheartedly, and we will see His marvelous wonders unfold in our lives. Psalm 33:21 says: “For our heart shall rejoice in Him, b...

Blog Y3 666 - "Secure in His Hands"

Image
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. Psalm 138:8. Our Lord God’s love is immeasurable! When He brought us into His saving knowledge, He took complete control of our lives. We belong to Him and Him alone. His mercy endures forever, and His love never changes. We are always on His mind; He knows every detail of our lives, every step we take, and every moment that awaits us. He is deeply concerned about us and faithfully keeps every promise He has made. He will never quit on us. His love is constant, unshakable, and endless. He never stops loving the people He has created. Let us continually trust Him to complete the good work He has begun in us. Our God has a beautiful blueprint for our lives, far greater than we could ever imagine. Before we were even born, He carefully planned everything for us. Nothing in our life is accidental; it is all part of His divine design.  Whatever the Lord has purposed...

Blog Y3 665 - "Guided by His Voice"

Image
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: ‘I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.’ Isaiah 48:17. Learning is an essential part of human life. The world is constantly teaching us something, through schools, teachers, mentors, and now even through social media and media platforms. But all these teachings often come from human knowledge and understanding, shaped by their own thoughts and experiences. However, our Redeemer, the Lord who knows our past, present, and future, has a perfect and beautiful blueprint for each of our lives. He is eager to teach us and guide us, but there is one thing He desires from us: surrender. The psalmist reminds us of the importance of sitting in God’s presence, listening to His voice every morning. Yes, He alone can lead us on the right path, the one that is truly profitable for us. He teaches us what to do and what to avoid, where to go and where not to go.  Let us surrender ourselves...
