Blog Y3 685 - "Draw Near to God"
Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. Isaiah 59:1. “Behold” means stop, look, and pay attention. So often we fail to recognize that God’s hand is always with us. Throughout Scripture, whenever God’s hand was upon His people, they were never left alone. They were guided, protected, and upheld by His mighty power. That same strong and faithful hand is still with us today. His hands are never weak, powerless, or inactive to redeem us. The true hindrance is not with Him, but with us, our doubts, disobedience, or wandering hearts. This is why our prayer should be: “Lord, do not let go of us. Hold our hands tightly, for if we try to hold Yours, we may let go and run away. But if You hold us, we are safe forever.” His hand is strong and mighty, and He is able to do marvelous things in our lives. In the same way, God’s ear is not deaf to the cries of His people.
