Blog Y3 672 - "Guarded by His Nearness"

The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. Psalm 121:5.

Our Lord God is our perfect Protector. Some dangers we can see with our own eyes, but many are hidden from us, yet God sees them all. He promises to protect us completely. This promise is personal, meant for anyone who believes and claims it by faith. We can place our own names wherever we see the word “you” in this verse.

The right hand is a place of strength, honor, and importance, and our God, who created the heavens and the earth, promises to stand right there beside us. Just as shade shields us from the scorching sun, God shields us from harm, danger, and spiritual attacks.

Our God is never far away. He is standing in the closest and strongest position, guarding the place where we are most vulnerable. He is near enough to defend, protect, and refresh us at all times. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says: “But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.”

All glory be to God, our Keeper and our Protector!

Reflection: Am I living each day with confidence that I am never left exposed, but shielded and refreshed by the One who stands closest to me, guarding even the most vulnerable parts of my life with His unfailing strength?

கர்த்தர் உன்னைக் காக்கிறவர்; கர்த்தர் உன் வலதுபக்கத்திலே உனக்கு நிழலாயிருக்கிறார். சங்கீதம் 121:5.

நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய தேவன் நம்மைப் பாதுகாப்பவர். சில ஆபத்துகளை நாம் நம் கண்களால் காண முடியும், ஆனால் நம்மால் காண முடியாத பல ஆபத்துகளையும் தேவன் காண்கிறார். அவர் நம்மை முழுமையாகப் பாதுகாப்பதாக வாக்குரைக்கிறார். இந்த வாக்குறுதி தனிப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் உரியது. விசுவாசத்தினால் விசுவாசித்து அதை சொந்தம்கொண்டாடுகிற எவருக்கும் இது பொருந்தும். இந்த வசனத்தில் “உன்” என்ற வார்த்தை இருக்கும் இடங்களில் நாம் நம்முடைய பெயரை வைத்துக்கொள்ளலாம்.

வலது கை என்பது பலம், மரியாதை மற்றும் முக்கியத்துவம் உள்ள இடம். மேலும் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் படைத்த நம் தேவன் நம் பக்கத்தில் அங்கேயே நிற்பதாக வாக்குரைக்கிறார். ஒரு நிழல் நம்மைச் சுட்டெரிக்கும் சூரியனில் இருந்து பாதுகாப்பது போல, தேவன் நம்மைத் தீங்கு, ஆபத்து மற்றும் ஆவிக்குரிய தாக்குதல்களிலிருந்து பாதுகாக்கிறார்.

நம்முடைய தேவன் ஒருபோதும் வெகு தொலைவில் இல்லை. அவர் மிகவும் நெருக்கமான மற்றும் பலமான நிலையில் நின்று, நாம் மிகவும் பாதிக்கப்படக்கூடிய இடத்தைக் காக்கிறார். எல்லா நேரங்களிலும் நம்மைப் பாதுகாக்க, தாங்க மற்றும் புத்துணர்ச்சி அளிக்க அவர் மிக அருகில் இருக்கிறார். 2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 3:3 சொல்லுகிறது: “கர்த்தரோ உண்மையுள்ளவர், அவர் உங்களை ஸ்திரப்படுத்தி, தீமையினின்று விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவார்.”

நம்மைக் காக்கிறவரும் பாதுகாக்கிறவருமான தேவனுக்கே எல்லா மகிமையும் உண்டாவதாக!

சிந்திக்க: நான் ஒருபோதும் வெட்கப்படுத்தப்படாமல், எனக்கு மிக அருகில் நின்று, என் வாழ்க்கையின் மிகவும் பாதிக்கப்படக்கூடிய பகுதிகளைத்  தம் மாறாத பலத்தால் காக்கிறவரால் நான் பாதுகாக்கப்பட்டு, புத்துணர்ச்சி அடைந்து வாழ்கிறேன் என்ற நம்பிக்கையுடன் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நான் வாழ்கிறேனா?
