Blog Y3 711 - "Serving Christ Through Compassion"

Image
And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ Matthew 25:40. Yes! Our God is the King of kings and Lord of lords. One day, all will stand before Him on the Day of Judgment. There will be many surprises, but as God’s children, we know the truth. There is a great difference between being good and being saved. We may think that good deeds alone please God, yet our kindness often extends only to those who are kind to us. Too often, we forget the poor and needy, those dearest to God’s heart. Whenever we see someone in need, let us remember that God blesses us so that we can bless others. Every act of love and compassion touches His heart deeply. On that glorious Day of Judgment, may the Lord say, “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” May the Holy Spirit open our eyes to see the needs of the poor and guide us to use our bl...

Blog Y3 710 - "Living in God’s Authority"

Image
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19 . Our identity is that we are God’s possession. When we become His children, He gives us His authority and power. When Jesus walked on this earth, He moved in divine power and authority. He drove out demons from the possessed, healed the sick, performed mighty miracles, and was always moved with compassion. When He ascended to Heaven, He sent His Holy Spirit to dwell in us, imparting that same power and authority to His children. Even when He was with His disciples, He gave them authority over all principalities and evil powers, promising that nothing would harm them. Now, it is our time to act as His representatives. Often, we fail to recognize who we are and to whom we belong. God has placed each of us in specific places, whether in our families, workplaces, or communities, to shine as His light and a vessel of authority. Let ...

Blog Y3 709 - "Hungering for God’s Word"

Image
As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby. 1 Peter 2:2. We all know how newborn babies crave milk. With deep hunger and thirst, they cry out loudly because they cannot bear the feeling of hunger. In the same way, God expects us to read and meditate on His Word with that same thirst and longing. God’s Word is like pure milk, undiluted and filled with truth. It is not mixed with the opinions of the world. Just as a mother’s milk is like her life flowing into the child, giving nourishment, strength, and growth, so the Word of God gives us spiritual life, empowers us, and sustains us in our journey of faith. Through His Word, we not only grow in faith, wisdom, and holiness, but we also experience a transformative power that shapes our lives. Both prayer and the Word of God are essential for our physical and spiritual growth. When we read and meditate on His Word day and night, it nourishes our souls and strengthens our lives in Christ. Reflection: Am I ...

Blog Y3 708 - "Blessings for the Humble Heart"

Image
The poor shall eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise the Lord. Let your heart live forever! Psalm 22:26. The word “poor” here does not only refer to those who are physically lacking in worldly possessions, but also to those who are poor in spirit, the humble, the meek, and the broken-hearted who depend wholly on God. Our loving God always stands beside the humble. He gives grace to the lowly and nourishes them with both physical and spiritual food. He satisfies them not only with earthly blessings but also fills their souls with divine goodness and peace, transforming their lives in ways they could never imagine. Those who seek God sincerely are blessed in both heart and soul. They are never left in despair, for the Lord reveals Himself to them in every path of life. They will lack nothing, for His presence is their greatest provision. When we continue to seek Him with all our hearts, our souls find everlasting life in His love, a love that never fades or fails. Our lips...

Blog Y3 707 - "God of Impossible Wonders"

Image
Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things! Psalm 72:18. Our God, our Father, is mighty and marvelous! He can do all things; nothing is impossible for Him. Even when we do not understand His ways, His actions are always perfect, purposeful, and filled with goodness. Whatever stands before us like mountains, our God can melt them like ice. In moments when life feels ordinary or even painful, this verse invites us to lift our eyes above the circumstances and remember the nature of our God. He is the same God who parted the Red Sea, healed the sick, raised the dead, and still works wonders today in the hearts of His people. Whatever seems huge or impossible in our minds is nothing in His sight. He is truly a miracle-working God! We should be proud and thankful to be His children. We did not deserve such grace, yet He took all our sins upon Himself on the cross and set us free from bondage. Now it is our turn to praise and worship Him from the depths of our h...

Blog Y3 706 - "Steadfast Soul in Waiting"

Image
By your patience possess your souls. Luke 21:19. In our daily lives, the very first thing that becomes disturbed when trials arise is our soul. Especially when situations do not unfold as we expect. When delays or disappointments occur, our souls often lose peace, and when our souls tremble, our entire life begins to shake. That is why Jesus reminds us: “By your patience possess your souls.” Our soul is precious; it is the eternal part of us that lives beyond this earthly life. Therefore, we must guard it carefully. When our soul is at rest, anchored in God’s promises, our whole being remains steady. But when impatience or doubt enters, our soul becomes restless and loses strength. When God gives a promise, there may be a waiting period before it is fulfilled. During this time, our faith is tested. Our soul may grow weary, tempted to give up hope or question God’s timing. Yet, we must remember that our God never lies and never changes His word. If He has spoken, it will surely come to ...

Blog Y3 705 - "Reflecting His Eternal Light"

Image
God is the Lord, and He has given us light; Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar. ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭118‬:‭27. God, our Almighty Lord, is the true Light of our lives. He alone can brighten the paths we walk. The light of our eyes may fade with time, but the light that comes from God never goes out. His divine radiance shines into our hearts, helping us see our inner selves clearly and guiding us in every step we take. This eternal light is not only for us to receive but also to reflect. Appa, our loving Father, has placed His brightness within us so that we may become the light of the world. Out of His grace, not because of our power, wisdom, or wealth, He has chosen us to carry His light and share it with those living in darkness. As we meditate on this truth, let us remember that being God’s light is both a privilege and a calling. Each word we speak, each act of kindness we show, and each moment of compassion we express becomes a spark of His glory shining through us. Let ...

Blog Y3 704 - "Trust in the Unchanging God"

Image
I t is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Psalm 118:8. This verse reminds us of two kinds of trust: trusting in man and trusting in God. Trusting in man is like depending on passing clouds that appear for a moment and then vanish. People may speak kindly, promise much, and even seem powerful, but their strength and influence are temporary. Man’s life is fragile; one day he is here, and the next, he passes away. His name, fame, and all that he built soon fade into the dust of time. Even the most influential person in this world cannot be our sure foundation, for every human being is limited and changeable. We cannot entirely depend on anyone who has breath, for no man can control his tomorrow. But when we place our trust in the Lord, it becomes a trust that will never be shaken. God is eternal, unchanging, and perfectly faithful. His Word stands firm forever, and every promise He makes is true. He never speaks a word that He will not fulfill. Unlike men who may f...

Blog Y3 703 - "Lifted by His Grace"

Image
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. Psalms 40:2. This is one of the greatest miracles in life, the foremost of all miracles. The world may help us temporarily when we fall into trouble, but only God can truly redeem us from a hopeless, dry, dark, and sinful life. Our loving Father God did not allow us to sink into a pit. He lifted us from the horrible pit, a place from which there seemed to be no way out. He not only rescued us but also placed us upon a Solid Rock, Christ Himself and His Word. He is our unshakable foundation. When God places us upon the Rock of Christ, we receive peace, love, and the blessed assurance that we are safe in His hands. He establishes our steps through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, so that he directs every step we take. Our position changes from sinking in despair to standing strong in faith. Reflection: Am I standing firm on the Rock of Christ, remembering how God lif...

Blog Y3 702 - "Sustained by His Grace"

Image
For great is Your mercy toward me, And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol. Psalm 86:13. Our God’s mercy and grace endure forever. In our weaknesses, in our ups and downs, and in every challenging situation, His grace is always sufficient for us. Whenever we look back on the chapters of our lives, we can write over each one: “Your grace is sufficient for us.” Nothing in this world can compare to the grace and mercy of our Heavenly Father. It is His mercy and grace that protect us from all the known and unknown dangers of life. We cannot stand in this chaotic world without His grace. Therefore, we should continually plead for His grace every moment of our lives. Salvation itself is granted by God purely because of His grace—it is His grace that has delivered us from eternal death. He loves us so deeply and pours out His grace upon us every second of our lives. How grateful we should be to our Father God for this immeasurable gift! Even now, He continues to rescue us from...

Blog Y3 701 - "Gratitude to My Shepherd"

Image
So we, Your people and sheep of Your pasture, Will give You thanks forever; We will show forth Your praise to all generations. Psalm 79:13. We are God’s people the sheep of His pasture. He is our loving Shepherd who guides us, protects us, and provides everything we need. When we wander, He gently brings us back. When we are weary, He restores our soul. When enemies rise against us, He becomes our Defender and prepares a banquet table right in their presence. He anoints our heads with oil, fills our cups to overflowing, and leads us into green pastures of peace and rest. How can our hearts remain silent before such love? When we truly realize all that He has done  His mercy that forgave us, His grace that sustains us, and His faithfulness that never fails our souls must overflow with thanksgiving. Gratitude should not be just a momentary feeling but a lifelong response. Every breath we take is a gift, and with every breath, we must give Him praise. Let our thanksgiving be continual...

Blog Y3 700 - "Choosing the Narrow Way"

Image
In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death. Proverbs 12:28. The path of righteousness leads to life, and there is no trace of death in it. When we see true righteousness, we find life itself. The way that leads to eternal life is often narrow, sometimes filled with thorns, ups, and downs. Yet, in every step we take, God’s hand is with us, and His presence surrounds us. At times, we may see only one set of footprints on that narrow path; those are not ours, but God’s. It is He who carries us on His shoulders and walks the journey for us. The righteous path may seem difficult, but it leads to everlasting life. In contrast, the path of unrighteousness is wide, smooth, and easy to walk on, but it leads to death and destruction. Now, the choice is ours. Let us be watchful and wise to choose the narrow way of righteousness. Even though it may seem rough or crooked, we are never alone. Our loving Father walks with us. Nothing can harm us without His permission, ...

Blog Y3 699 - "Surrounded by His Grace"

Image
Saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ Acts 27:24. We are God’s beloved children, precious in His sight. Every moment, He pours out more and more of His grace upon us. His promise of grace is so precious, especially because we live in a world that cannot give us true peace. We need grace not only before God but also in the eyes of men. In life, we must navigate many difficult situations that we cannot face alone. That is why our gracious God continuously covers us with His abundant grace, a grace filled with His love, kindness, and divine protection. Just as God granted safety to everyone who sailed with Paul, He will also extend His protection and favor to those connected to us. Because of His love for us, He grants grace to our families, our friends, and all those within our prayer boundaries. Let us receive and hold on to this precious promise in Jesus’ mighty name. Isaiah 41:10 says: “Fear no...

Blog Y3 698 - "Carrying the Peace of Christ"

Image
Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another. Mark 9:50. Peace! It is one of the greatest treasures this world has lost. Everywhere we turn, we see conflict, unrest, and division. That is why our loving God has planted us in specific places as His salted people, to bring flavor, preservation, and peace to a tasteless and troubled world. Salt has value only when it retains its flavor. Likewise, our lives have a divine impact only when the salt of Christ’s presence remains active within us. If we lose our saltiness, our spiritual vitality, love, and peace, how can we season our surroundings with the fragrance of Jesus? Those around us should sense something different in us, the gentle aroma of Christ that draws hearts toward Him. Our words, our actions, and even our silence should carry the peace of Jesus. To remain “salty,” we must stay close to our Savior, continually soaking in His presence through pr...

Blog Y3 697 - "Living to Please God"

Image
So Samuel said: ‘Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22. Pleasing God is the foremost purpose of our lives. It brings true delight to His heart when His children walk in obedience. We often spend our days trying to please the people of this world, acting according to their expectations, seeking their approval, and hoping for their appreciation. Yet no matter how hard we try, human hearts are never fully satisfied. But our loving Father is different. He speaks to us clearly through His Word: “Obedience is better than sacrifice.” What He desires most is not our outward rituals, gifts, or performances, but our sincere obedience that flows from love and trust. “Yes, Lord, I will do as You say.” That simple obedience brings Him the greatest delight. To please God, we don’t need to perform extraordinary acts or bring costly offerings. He ...

Blog Y3 696 - "Reflecting God’s Goodness Daily"

Image
Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore. Psalm 37:27. Our lives should reflect the influence of God within us. When Jesus walked on this earth, He went about doing good wherever He went. He never entertained or participated in evil. To truly fear God is to turn away from evil. When we received salvation, God graciously gave us the Holy Spirit, the precious gift who guides us into all truth and leads us on the right path. The Holy Spirit helps us discern and avoid evil. Our conscience, enlightened by His Spirit, clearly tells us what is wrong and what displeases God. But avoiding evil alone is not enough. We are called to do good. God has placed many opportunities around us to show His goodness, particularly to those who are hungry, thirsty, needy, helpless, and abandoned. Through these moments, He invites us to reflect on His love and compassion. Let us pray and ask God to protect us from every form of evil and open our eyes to recognize the needs around us, so that we may...

Blog Y3 695 - "Grateful for His Abundant Grace"

Image
You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Joel 2:26. God’s blessings to His children are always more than enough, plenty, and satisfying! All riches, glory, and goodness belong to Him, and He blesses whom He loves. We are His people, His children, and He has declared with assurance that we shall never be put to shame. This is such a powerful promise! Therefore, we must live with hearts full of gratitude, continually giving thanks and lifting up His glorious Name. We know that nothing can be accomplished by our own strength. Without Him, we cannot be blessed. Every breath we take, every bit of health, provision, and peace we enjoy, all come from His perfect love and grace. There may have been seasons of lack, pain, or waiting, but God never forgets His people.  Our Almighty God calls us “My people. ” We are not worthy of such love, yet He has chosen us and made us ...

Blog Y3 694 - "Strengthened by His Power"

Image
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13. Our strength begins with our mindset. In this chaotic world, there are times when we feel as though we are losing strength, not only in our spirit but also in our body, leading to discouragement and weariness. Yet, we have a great assurance from God: He Himself is our strength. Look at Moses. Even in his old age, he climbed up the mountain and met God face to face. God spoke with him as a friend. Moses could not have led hundreds of thousands of Israelites by his own human strength; he did everything through the strength that came from God. In the same way, we too face many moments of weakness, spiritual battles, physical tiredness, and times when even praying or walking in the right spiritual path feels difficult. But we have one unshakable assurance: our God is our strength. Let us, like the Apostle Paul, boldly confess and proclaim: “We can do all things, whether spiritual or physical, through Christ who streng...

Blog Y3 693 - "Safe in His Care"

Image
For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. Psalm 27:5. Our God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, knows everything about us, our going out and our coming in. He sees not only the visible dangers but also the hidden ones. He is our refuge, our fortress, and our strength. We are His children, the apple of His eye, so precious to Him. In every step we take and wherever we stand, His eyes are upon us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. As our loving Heavenly Father, He shelters us from all the evil plans and traps of our enemies. His pavilion represents His divine place of protection, where He hides us safely under His care. No weapon formed against us shall prosper, and nothing can harm or touch us. We belong to Him, and He belongs to us. He sets us high upon a rock where no enemy can reach us. Therefore, we have no need to fear or worry about anything, for He is our Rock, and we...

Blog Y3 692 - "Delight in His Presence"

Image
For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. Psalms 84:10. The presence of God is the safest and most joyful place in the entire universe! The world may offer pleasures, but they are only temporary and fleeting. Even if we were to spend thousands of days in places that seem delightful, the joy would eventually fade away. But the presence of our God is incomparable; there, we experience His unfailing love, peace, and everlasting joy. Though the places of the wicked may appear attractive and promising, they ultimately lead to destruction. This is one of Satan’s cunning tricks to deceive God’s children and draw them away from the truth. How much better it is to remain in the presence of our God, even if it means standing as a humble doorkeeper at His house, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness! The beauty, blessing, and satisfaction found in His presence far surpass anything this world ...
