Blog Y3 877 - "Resting in His Protection"

Image
The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. Psalms 9:9. Our loving Heavenly Father is our only true refuge and shelter in this chaotic world. Wherever we go, we cannot find complete safety or lasting peace. People in the world try to protect themselves by building shelters, security systems, and strong defenses, yet they still cannot fully escape danger, fear, or uncertainty. No one knows what the next moment holds. We do not know the hidden traps and dangers the enemy may set before us, but our mighty Heavenly Father knows everything. He created heaven and earth, and He alone holds our future securely in His hands. When the people of Israel cried out to God because of their oppression and slavery in Egypt, God had already prepared a way for their deliverance. He raised up Moses to redeem them from bondage, suffering, and depression. In the same way, the same faithful God is with us today. He promises to be our refuge in times of oppression, trouble,...

Blog Y3 876 - "Letting Praise Shape My Life"

Image
I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; Yes, I will praise Him among the multitude. Psalms 109:30. Our loving God Jehovah, created us to praise and worship Him. That is one of the greatest purposes for which He placed us in this world. He delights in the worship of His children. Day and night, the angels worship Him in heaven, yet God also desires sincere praise that rises from the hearts of His people on earth. He gave us a mouth not merely to speak empty, careless, or displeasing words, but to glorify His holy name. Our whole being, body, soul, and spirit should worship and honor Him. The world is watching our lives, especially the words that come from our mouths, because whatever fills the heart will eventually overflow through our speech. The psalmist’s heart was filled with the love, goodness, and grace of God. Therefore, his mouth overflowed with praise and thanksgiving. When our hearts are filled with the presence of God, praise will naturally flow out from us and become e...

Blog Y3 875 - "Shaped by His Calling"

Image
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28. Loving God must be genuine in our hearts. People in the world may think that we are truly loving and serving God with all our hearts and minds. But God knows our hearts and the depth of our love for Him. We often expect God to fulfill the desires of our hearts, but do we also seek to fulfill the desires of His heart? Do we sit in His presence to prove our love for Him? If we truly love Him, we will desire to fulfill His will and purpose for our lives. Then we become the children who are called and chosen to accomplish His divine purpose. When we walk in this calling, we can confidently declare that even the smallest things in our lives work together for good. Satan may plan and plot many things against us, but our loving Father will turn and reverse everything for our good. Even when He places us in situations that seem uncomfortable or unexpected...

Blog Y3 874 - "Waiting for Promised Joy"

Image
He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, and your lips with rejoicing. Job 8:21. The word yet carries a deep and powerful meaning in this verse. Job was going through unbearable agony and great sorrow. Though he was upright in the sight of God, he lost everything. Yet, through this verse, God gave him a beautiful hope of restoration. In the end, God restored to Job double of all that he had lost. In the same way, we too may go through difficult seasons in life. At times, we may feel there is no way out of our painful situations. We may expect the fire to die down, but instead it may seem seven times hotter. But even in the midst of such trials, God gives us this promise: “Our suffering will not last forever.” Our Heavenly Father is bringing every season of pain to an end. He is able to restore double for everything we have lost. He will fill our mouths with laughter and our hearts with joy once again. Let us hold on to this promise and declare His Word over every broken and destroyed...

Blog Y3 873 - "Living a Life of Praise"

Image
Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God. Psalms 50:23. In the olden days, before Christ came into the world, altars were used for sacrifices and offerings for sin. People brought many kinds of offerings before God upon those altars. But now, we no longer need to offer such sacrifices, because our Lord Jesus Christ gave Himself as the perfect and living sacrifice for our sins. Today, God desires from us the sacrifice of praise and a life that is upright in His sight. These are the sweet aromas that our loving Heavenly Father delights in. In every situation, we should praise God with thankful hearts. Even in difficult times, when we choose to offer praise and worship, we can witness and experience His mighty deliverance. A life that pleases the Lord is a life filled with gratitude, praise, and obedience. When we continually choose to walk with Him and honor Him in our conduct, He reveals more and more of the beauty and...

Blog Y3 872 - "Stilled Before His Majesty"

Image
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Psalms 46:10. Stillness is one of the most difficult processes in our lives. It is a waiting period, but waiting in His presence is never wasted time. During that season, God wants to reveal who He truly is. Our time is not His time. God’s timing is always perfect. When He performs His great and mighty works, it will become the happiest and most beautiful moment in our lives. Do you know who our God is? He is the God of all nations and all flesh. Nothing is impossible for Him. He wants us to surrender all our anxieties to Him, to be still, and to know who He is. He is the One who rules over and controls the nations. We do not need to fight our own battles; we simply need to commit ourselves fully to Him. He will do things beyond what we can imagine, and His works will be marvelous in our sight.  Reflection: Are you choosing to be still in the midst of pressure, trusting th...

Blog Y3 871 - "Resting Securely in God’s Presence"

Image
As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. Isaiah66:13. The word “comfort” gives us the feeling of being settled in a place where we are free from disturbance, a place filled with peace, calm, safety, and rest. In this world, however, there is much chaos, fear, and trouble, and we often lose our peace. But our Lord Jesus Christ already told us:  “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Whenever we run into the presence of God, we enter the true place of peace and comfort. No one can fully understand this heavenly comfort unless they experience it personally. We must have a close and intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father, because only He can give real peace and lasting comfort. A child resting in its mother’s bosom feels secure, protected, and completely comforted. In the same way, when we come into the presence of God, we experience divine peace, safety, and rest for our...

Blog Y3 870 - "Walking in His Holy Leading"

Image
I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Ezekiel 36:27. All His statutes and laws are not easy to follow by our own strength. To live a holy life is impossible without Him. Our own efforts and strength will fail. Though salvation is given freely through His grace, we still need His grace every day until our last breath. That is why God promised to give us His Holy Spirit and place Him within us. Only the Holy Spirit can guide, protect, strengthen, and lead us throughout our lives. But we should not remain passive, thinking that the Holy Spirit will do everything without our fellowship with Him. We must live in a constant relationship with Him. Only then can we clearly hear His voice, obey His leading, and walk in His ways. The Holy Spirit teaches us, corrects us, and helps us practice His statutes daily. Without following His ways, we cannot reach our eternal destination, Heaven. Therefore, we desperately need the...

Blog Y3 869 - "Safe under His Wings"

Image
He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. Psalms 91:4. This psalm gives full protection both spiritually and physically. Who is our Most High? Our Lord Jesus Christ! He is our shelter and refuge. When we hide under the shadow of His wings, He covers us from all evil and from the evil schemes and attacks of the enemy. This verse reveals His tender love, protection, and nearness. His protection is not cold or far away; it is very close and deeply personal. Many times, we have seen little chicks safely resting under the warmth and protection of a hen’s wings. In the same way, when children become afraid, they quickly run into their mother’s bosom for comfort and safety. Likewise, our God gives us protection, comfort, and shelter. He is our Refuge. His faithful arms are like a shield that keeps us from all harm. His protection is like a wall of fire surrounding us, guarding us from all dangers of evil spirit...

Blog Y3 868 - "Trusting Him Through Every Trials"

Image
You called in trouble, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Psalms ‭81:7. When our God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, He brought them out with silver and gold (Now the children of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, and they had asked from the Egyptians articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing. And the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Exodus 12:35,36) , and the Lord Jehovah redeemed them from every bondage. In the same way, when He redeemed us from our sinful lives, we became His spiritual Israelites, His own people. He cares for us deeply and answers us whenever we call upon Him in our troubles. He is the God who hears our cries from the place of storm, from the secret place of thunder, and He answers and saves us because we belong to Him. When we become His own people, we are very precious to Him. He canno...

Blog Y3 867 - "Clothed in His Promised Joy"

Image
Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. Isaiah 60:5. This is the hope given to God’s children. Our lives will not remain the same as they are today. Great things are going to happen in our lives. We may have lost many things, but our Lord is the God of restoration. He desires to make us joyful and blessed. He will shine upon us with His glory. Even if the whole world goes into darkness, we will continue to shine because the light of the Lord is upon us. Our hearts will overflow and be enlarged with joy, because our God is restoring all that we have lost and filling our lives with His goodness. Therefore, we should clothe ourselves with joy and thanksgiving. Our God and Father is the richest of all. Heaven and earth belong to Him, and we belong to Him. So we can rejoice with confidence and peace. The abundance of the sea and the wealth of the nations...

Blog Y3 866 - "Guarded by His Leading"

Image
Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. Psalms 27:11. This should be our prayer every day. Satan is our enemy, and he can use anyone against us. He is very cunning, and we often cannot recognize or understand his traps and schemes. But our Father God, who created him, knows all about his evil plans. He alone can help us to escape every hidden and unknown trap. That is why we must ask our Father to teach us His way and show us the path we should walk in. When we seek Him, He will faithfully teach us and guide us. The path He leads us on will be safe and smooth. Every day, we should ask God to make clear the way we should go, because our enemies may be surrounding us and waiting. But when we call upon Him, our God will never give us into the hands of the enemy. He will protect us, lead us, and keep us secure in His presence. Reflection: Are you depending on His instruction to expose every trap set against you, trusting that the God who sees ...

Blog Y3 865 - "Rejoicing in His Victory"

Image
Behold, on the mountains, the feet of him who brings good tidings, who proclaims peace! O Judah, keep your appointed feasts, perform your vows. For the wicked one shall no more pass through you; He is utterly cut off. Nahum 1:15.  Our loving God, the Author of all creation, is calling us to rejoice and celebrate! He reminds us to remain faithful to keep our commitments, to fulfill the vows we have made to Him, and to walk in obedience and gratitude. These are not burdens, but blessings, pathways through which God establishes His victory in our lives. We must remember: People are not our enemies. There is only one enemy, and he works through situations and people. But our Lord has already defeated him! Through the victory of the cross, Jesus Christ has crushed the head of Satan. He is utterly cut off; he has no authority over us. Our God does not give partial victories. *He does not defeat the enemy halfway or leave the work incomplete*. What He cuts off, He removes completely. His ...

Blog Y3 864 - "Standing in His Strength"

Image
Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For YAH, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ Isaiah 12:2. This is a perfect and beautiful confession that we should declare at every moment of our lives. If we had not been saved by Him, our lives would be truly lost in this world. How graciously He has delivered us from sin and brought us into His salvation! Until this very moment, He holds us, guides us, and protects us. He knows all our flaws, yet He still loves us. Therefore, we place our complete trust in Him alone. He never gives us into the hands of the enemy. Even when our strength fades, our God becomes our strength, and our weaknesses become nothing in His presence. He makes our feet like the feet of a deer, enabling us to leap over obstacles and run our race with endurance. The psalmist emphasizes this truth: He is our salvation! He does not allow us to drown in sin. He is the One who keeps us from slipping and helps us walk safely...

Blog Y3 863 - "Seeking His Leading in the Morning "

Image
Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You. Psalm 143:8. This is a perfect prayer for the early morning. The morning is a precious time when God pours out His fresh grace and unfailing love upon us. It is the moment we can offer our first love to Him, opening our hearts and laying everything at His feet freely and sincerely. There is something deeply beautiful and sacred about these quiet moments with God. Like the psalmist, we can express our trust in Him and seek His guidance. We do not know what the new day holds, but our Heavenly Father knows all things. As we begin each day, we surrender ourselves completely into His hands, asking Him to lead us on paths unknown to us. He knows everything, even the hidden things and the plans of the enemy. When we yield our lives, especially our souls, fully to Him, our day becomes truly blessed. Not only for one day, but every day,...

Blog Y3 862 - "Generosity That Reveals Christ"

Image
You shall surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand. Deuteronomy 15:10. Our God’s blessings are far beyond what we can imagine. Yet often, before receiving those blessings, there is a test of our hearts. In this verse, God calls us to give and help those in need, not casually or reluctantly, but with a willing and joyful heart. People may see our giving, but God sees the condition of our hearts. We are called to give with love and compassion, especially to those who are in desperate need. When we do this sincerely, God promises to bless the work of our hands. Our God is generous. He blesses us so that we may become a blessing to others. Therefore, we must never take His blessings for granted. Every blessing we receive is not only for us, but also meant to flow through us to others. So, dear friends, let us not only receive His blessings bu...
