The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. Psalms 9:9.
Our loving Heavenly Father is our only true refuge and shelter in this chaotic world. Wherever we go, we cannot find complete safety or lasting peace. People in the world try to protect themselves by building shelters, security systems, and strong defenses, yet they still cannot fully escape danger, fear, or uncertainty. No one knows what the next moment holds. We do not know the hidden traps and dangers the enemy may set before us, but our mighty Heavenly Father knows everything. He created heaven and earth, and He alone holds our future securely in His hands.
When the people of Israel cried out to God because of their oppression and slavery in Egypt, God had already prepared a way for their deliverance. He raised up Moses to redeem them from bondage, suffering, and depression. In the same way, the same faithful God is with us today. He promises to be our refuge in times of oppression, trouble, and weakness. He will never leave us or stay far away from us. He is always near to rescue, protect, and deliver us from every danger and trouble we face.
That is why the psalmist joyfully declared that God is his refuge, a shelter for the oppressed and a strong tower for those who are in trouble. When we sincerely call upon God for help, He is always ready to answer us. He is a loving Father who continually watches over His children. His Word says that He neither sleeps nor slumbers. Wherever we go and wherever we stand, His eyes are upon us. He will never hand us over to the power of the enemy or the cruelty of people, because His mighty and powerful hand is upon us.
Reflection: What keeps my faith unshaken when opposition rises and I stand in places that feel uncertain as I look to the One who alone can shield and deliver me?

இந்தக் குழப்பமான உலகத்தில், நம் அன்பான பரம பிதாவே நமக்கான ஒரே உண்மையான அடைக்கலமும் புகலிடமுமாக இருக்கிறார். நாம் எங்கு சென்றாலும், முழுமையான பாதுகாப்பையோ அல்லது நிலையான சமாதானத்தையோ நம்மால் கண்டடைய முடியாது. உலக மக்கள் புகலிடங்கள், பாதுகாப்பு அமைப்புகள் மற்றும் பலமான அரண்களை உருவாக்குவதன் மூலம் தங்களைப் பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்ள முயற்சிக்கிறார்கள், ஆனாலும் அவர்களால் ஆபத்து, பயம் அல்லது நிலையற்ற தன்மையிலிருந்து முழுமையாகத் தப்பிக்க முடிவதில்லை. அடுத்த நிமிடம் என்ன நடக்கும் என்று யாருக்கும் தெரியாது. சத்துரு நமக்கு முன்பாக வைக்கக்கூடிய மறைக்கப்பட்ட கண்ணிகளையும் ஆபத்துகளையும் நாம் அறியோம், ஆனால் நம் வல்லமையுள்ள பரம பிதா எல்லாவற்றையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறார். அவரே வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் படைத்தவர், அவர் ஒருவரே நம்முடைய எதிர்காலத்தைத் தமது கரங்களில் பாதுகாப்பாகப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.
எகிப்தில் தாங்கள் அனுபவித்த ஒடுக்குமுறை மற்றும் அடிமைத்தனத்தின் காரணமாக இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தேவனை நோக்கிக் கதறியபோது, தேவன் ஏற்கனவே அவர்களின் விடுதலைக்கான ஒரு வழியை ஆயத்தம் செய்திருந்தார். அடிமைத்தனம், பாடுகள் மற்றும் மனச்சோர்விலிருந்து அவர்களை மீட்பதற்காக அவர் மோசேயை எழுப்பினார். அதேபோல, அந்த உண்மையுள்ள தேவனே இன்றும் நம்மோடு இருக்கிறார். ஒடுக்குமுறை, துன்பம் மற்றும் பலவீனத்தின் நேரங்களில் நமக்கு அடைக்கலமாக இருப்பதாக அவர் வாக்குத்தத்தம் அளிக்கிறார். அவர் ஒருபோதும் நம்மை விட்டு விலகமாட்டார் அல்லது நம்மை விட்டுத் தூரமாயிருக்கமாட்டார். நாம் எதிர்கொள்ளும் ஒவ்வொரு ஆபத்து மற்றும் துன்பத்திலிருந்தும் நம்மை மீட்கவும், பாதுகாக்கவும், விடுவிக்கவும் அவர் எப்பொழுதும் அருகிலேயே இருக்கிறார்.
அதனால்தான், தேவனே தனக்கு அடைக்கலமென்றும், சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுக்குப் புகலிடமென்றும், நெருக்கடியில் இருப்பவர்களுக்குப் பலத்த துருகமென்றும் சங்கீதக்காரன் மகிழ்ச்சியோடு அறிவித்தான். உதவிக்காக நாம் தேவனை உண்மையோடு நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடும்போது, அவர் நமக்கு பதிலளிக்க எப்பொழுதும் ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கிறார். அவர் தமது பிள்ளைகளைத் தொடர்ந்து கண்காணித்து வருகிற அன்பான பிதாவாக இருக்கிறார். அவர் உறங்குவதுமில்லை தூங்குவதுமில்லை என்று அவருடைய வார்த்தை கூறுகிறது. நாம் எங்கு சென்றாலும், எங்கு நின்றாலும், அவருடைய கண்கள் நம் மீது நோக்கமாயிருக்கின்றன. சத்துருவின் வல்லமைக்கோ அல்லது மனிதர்களின் கொடூரத்துக்கோ அவர் ஒருபோதும் நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்க மாட்டார், ஏனென்றால் அவருடைய வல்லமையான மற்றும் பலத்த கரம் நம் மீது இருக்கிறது.
சிந்திக்க: எதிர்ப்புகள் எழும்பும்போதும், நிலையற்றதாகத் தோன்றும் சூழ்நிலைகளில் நான் நிற்கும்போதும், என்னைப் பாதுகாத்து விடுவிக்கக்கூடிய ஒரே ஒருவரை நான் நோக்கிப் பார்க்கும்போது, என் விசுவாசம் அசைக்கப்படாமல் உறுதியாக நிற்க உதவுவது எது?
