"Blog Y2 629 - "Words of Grace and Power"

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. Proverbs 25:11.

Words are powerful, more powerful than we often realize. And when they come from the mouth of a child of God, their power becomes even greater. As God’s children, we are called to be mindful of every word we speak. Our words should be like apples of gold in settings of silver, precious, beautiful, timely, and full of grace.

Our speech should never tear down, but rather build up, heal, encourage, and restore. Just as our Lord Jesus Christ, when He walked on this earth, spoke with grace and truth. His words healed the broken, restored the rejected, and brought life to the weary; so too must we speak with His heart.

God has placed us in this world for a purpose: to reflect Him in every way, including through our speech. At the right time, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we are to speak the right words. Sometimes we may not know what to say, but the Holy Spirit, our Helper, will guide our tongue if we submit it to Him.

Let us pray daily: “Lord, take control of my mouth. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight.”

Let our lips speak life, over our own lives and over the lives of others. Let our words point people to Jesus, strengthen the weak, comfort the hurting, and glorify our Heavenly Father. May we be known as people who speak with wisdom, truth, grace, and love, words that shine like apples of gold in silver settings. Proverbs 15:23 says: "A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!”

Reflection: Am I choosing my words carefully to encourage and uplift others, allowing the Spirit to guide me so that my speech reflects God’s love and brings healing and hope in every situation?

ஏற்ற சமயத்தில் சொன்ன வார்த்தை வெள்ளித்தட்டில் வைக்கப்பட்ட பொற்பழங்களுக்குச் சமானம். நீதிமொழிகள் 25:11.

வார்த்தைகள் சக்திவாய்ந்தவை, நாம் பெரும்பாலும் உணர்வதைவிட அதிக சக்திவாய்ந்தவை. அவை தேவனுடைய பிள்ளையின் வாயிலிருந்து வரும்போது, அவற்றின் சக்தி இன்னும் அதிகமாகிறது. தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாகிய நாம் பேசும் ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தையிலும் கவனமாக இருக்க அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். நம் வார்த்தைகள் வெள்ளித் தட்டுகளில் வைக்கப்பட்ட பொன்னாலான  ஆப்பிள்களைப் போல, மிகமுக்கியமானவைகளாகவும், அழகானவையாகவும், சரியான சமயத்தில் பேசப்பட்டவையாகவும், கிருபை நிறைந்தவையாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டும்.

நம் பேச்சு ஒருபோதும் இடித்துத் தள்ளாமல், கட்டியெழுப்பவும், குணப்படுத்தவும், உற்சாகப்படுத்தவும், சீர்படுத்தவுமே உதவ வேண்டும். நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இந்த பூமியில் நடந்தபோது, கிருபையோடும் சத்தியத்தோடும் பேசினார். அவருடைய வார்த்தைகள் உடைந்தவர்களை குணமாக்கின, புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டவர்களை சீர்படுத்தின, களைப்படைந்தவர்களுக்கு உயிரைக் கொடுத்தன; அவ்வாறே நாமும் அவருடைய இருதயத்தை உணர்ந்து பேசவேண்டும்.

தேவன் நம்மை ஒவ்வொரு விதத்திலும், நம்முடைய பேச்சிலும் கூட, அவரைப் பிரதிபலிக்கும் நோக்கத்திற்காக இந்த உலகில் வைத்துள்ளார். சரியான நேரத்தில், பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் உதவியுடன், நாம் சரியான வார்த்தைகளைப் பேச வேண்டும். சில சமயங்களில் என்ன சொல்ல வேண்டும் என்று நமக்குத் தெரியாமல் இருக்கலாம், ஆனால் நம்முடைய தேற்றரவாளரான பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர், நாம் அவருக்கு நம் நாவை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தால், நமக்கு வழிகாட்டுவார்.

நாம் தினமும் இப்படி ஜெபிப்போம்: "கர்த்தாவே, என் வாயைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தும். என் வாயின் வார்த்தைகளும், என் இருதயத்தின் தியானமும் உமது பார்வைக்கு அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டதாக இருக்கட்டும்."

நம்முடைய உதடுகள் நம்முடைய சொந்த வாழ்க்கையிலும், மற்றவர்களின் வாழ்க்கையிலும் ஜீவனைப் பேசட்டும். நம் வார்த்தைகள் மக்களை இயேசுவை நோக்கிச் சுட்டிக்காட்டவும், பலவீனமானவர்களை பலப்படுத்தவும், காயமடைந்தவர்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் அளிக்கவும், நம்முடைய பரலோக பிதாவை மகிமைப்படுத்துவதாகவும் இருக்கட்டும்.  ஞானத்தோடும், சத்தியத்தோடும், கிருபையோடும், அன்போடும் பேசும் மக்களாக நாம் அறியப்படுவோமாக; வெள்ளித் தட்டுகளில் பொன் ஆப்பிள்கள் போல் பிரகாசிக்கும் வார்த்தைகளை நாம் பேசுவோமாக. நீதிமொழிகள் 15:23 சொல்லுகிறது: "மனுஷனுக்குத் தன் வாய்மொழியினால் மகிழ்ச்சியுண்டாகும்; ஏற்றகாலத்தில் சொன்ன வார்த்தை எவ்வளவு நல்லது!!"

சிந்திக்க: நான் என் வார்த்தைகளை கவனமாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து மற்றவர்களை உற்சாகப்படுத்தி, உயர்த்தி, என் பேச்சு தேவனுடைய அன்பைப் பிரதிபலித்து, ஒவ்வொரு சூழ்நிலையிலும் குணமாக்குதலையும் நம்பிக்கையையும் கொண்டு வர எனக்கு பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் வழிகாட்ட அனுமதிக்கிறேனா?
