Blog Y3 808 - "Waiting With a Quiet Heart"

Image
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He has mercy on us. Psalm 123:2. This is the way we must live. We are only human. There is nothing we can do by ourselves. Our very breath is in God’s hands. The Lord has already told us in John 15:5, “Without Me you can do nothing.” One word from His mouth created everything; if He were to speak another word, everything would come to an end. Everything we have and everything we need must come from God. Yes, Satan may offer worldly pleasures and temporary blessings, but they will never last. The gifts that come from God are perfect, pure, and permanent. Therefore, our eyes must be fixed on Him. Just as a servant watches the hand of his master, eager to please and gain favor. Just as a maid waits attentively for her mistress’s instruction, ready to respond immediately, so our hearts must wait upon the Lord. In time, a good mast...

Blog Y3 807 - "Strength When You Struggle"

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13. How great is the love our Lord has showered upon us! He knows every detail of our lives, our strengths, our weaknesses, and the depth of our endurance. The temptations we face are not unusual; they are common to humanity. Yet if we pass through them, there is always a divine purpose. Trials and temptations are temporary. Our faithful Father knows exactly how much we can bear, and He never allows anything beyond the limit of His sustaining grace. Through every testing, He invites us to trust Him more deeply. With each temptation, God also provides a way of escape. He does not leave us trapped in suffering, but strengthens us to endure and to come through victoriously. Therefore, temptations draw us nearer to Him, teaching us to de...

Blog Y3 806 - "God's Words Never Fail"

Image
Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed. Joshua 23:14. This was the final testimony of Joshua. As he stood at the end of his journey, he looked back and declared with confidence that not even one of God’s promises had failed. In the same way, one day we too will be able to look back and testify victoriously that every word the Lord has spoken over our lives has surely come to pass. Our God has given us many precious promises. In Christ Jesus, every one of them is “Yes and Amen.” All His promises are full of life and Spirit. His Word will never return void, but will accomplish the purpose for which He has sent it into our lives. Joshua meditated on the Law of the Lord day and night, because he knew that God’s Word was his very life. Our God never lies, and He n...

Blog Y3 805 - "Jesus Never Turns Away"

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. John 6:37. All calling begins with our Heavenly Father. Even before the foundation of the world, He knew us, called us, and chose us. He has loved us with an everlasting love. When God loved us, Jesus Christ also loved us. When God purposed to redeem us while we were still in sin, Jesus willingly came forward to give His life for us. When the Father placed us into the hands of Jesus Christ, He received us wholeheartedly. Were we worthy? Did we do anything great for God? No, nothing. We were lost, straying, and defiled by sin. If our inner lives were displayed on a screen, no one would accept us, not even those who love us now, for they see only the outward appearance. At times, we struggle even to accept ourselves. Yet Jesus Christ loved us and received us, just as the Father loved us. Whatever the Father desires, the Son also fulfills. The Father gave us to Jesus; the Son accepted us...

Blog Y3 804 - "Guided by His Presence"

Image
No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Joshua 1:5. Moses led and guided nearly six lakhs (six hundred thousand) Israelites through the wilderness. Every moment, he depended on God’s guidance. In tender faithfulness, God protected them with the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night throughout their journey. Moses’ constant prayer was for God’s presence; he desired nothing more. The Lord never left him nor forsook him. In the same way God was with Moses, He promised Joshua that His presence would remain with him. Today, that same promise is for us. Without God’s presence, we can do nothing. We may observe and understand only to a limited extent, but our Father God knows every minute detail of our lives. He sees what we cannot see and understands what we cannot understand. This loving Father assures us today: He will never leave us nor forsake us. Therefore, let ...

Blog Y3 803 - "Steadied by God's Grace"

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1. Justification by faith is one of the most remarkable gifts God has given to believers. It means that through faith in Jesus, not our performance, not our perfection, not our worthiness, we are declared righteous before God. This isn’t a future hope or a reward for spiritual achievement; it is a present reality for everyone who trusts in Christ. That truth alone brings comfort to weary hearts. Because we are justified by faith, Paul says we now have peace with God. This peace is not merely a feeling, nor is it the temporary calm that the world offers. It is a restored relationship with God. No more separation, no more enmity, no more striving to earn God’s favor. Even when life feels chaotic, this peace remains untouched, because it rests not on us but on Christ’s finished work. Through Jesus Christ, we are invited to live in that peace every day. When fear threatens, His peace s...

Blog Y3 802 - "Be Ready and Renewed"

Image
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10.  This should be our daily prayer. We are preparing to meet our Heavenly Father. Yet we live in a deeply corrupted world, and our hearts can easily slip into worldly desires and sin. We do not know when the Lord will return; therefore, we must be ready at every moment. We must guard our hearts continually. Our spirit is not always steady; it wavers and changes. By our own strength, we cannot control these things. But we have our Heavenly Father who is able to guide, guard, and sustain us. He sent Jesus Christ for our salvation, and He has given us the Holy Spirit to dwell within us. The Holy Spirit can guide our thoughts, correct our ways, and bring us into obedience to God’s will. Therefore, let us continually plead with God: To cleanse our hearts, To steady our minds, To renew our spirits, and To fill us with His divine, steadfast Spirit. May we live ready, watchful, and pure before Him. Reflec...

And now the Lord says, Who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, to bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel is gathered to Him (for I shall be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and My God shall be My strength). Isaiah 49:5. Our God, who formed us in our mother’s womb, has a divine purpose and calling for each and every one of His children. We are chosen by Him for a unique and specific purpose. Yet all God’s children share one common calling, to proclaim the Gospel and bring the world to Christ. Even those who once tasted the love of Christ but have strayed or become lost are part of this mission. Bringing them back to Him is also one of the purposes for which He has called us. If God has chosen us for His ministry, He will also strengthen us and cause His glory to be revealed through us. No child of God can say that they are without purpose. Each of us has a special mission in building His Kingdom. Let us wait in His presence, draw strength from Him, and go forward in His power t...

Blog Y3 800 - "Complete Reliance on God"

Image
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5–6. *TRUST* ! This is an essential word in God’s dictionary. Our complete trust must rest in Him alone. Our hearts and thoughts often look at present circumstances and draw their own conclusions. But our God knows all things, our thoughts, our past, our present, and our future. We are completely ignorant about what tomorrow holds. We do not know what the next moment may bring. Yet our loving Father knows. He has a unique and beautiful plan for each one of us. Therefore, we can surrender and commit all our thoughts, actions, and even the smallest details of our lives into His hands. He will direct our paths perfectly. We are always in His thoughts. His loving eyes are upon us every moment. He knows the evil plans of the enemy, yet the Lord laughs at them (Psalm 2). He will never hand us over to darkness or abandon us. So we can be s...

Blog Y3 799 - "United Hearts in Prayer"

Image
Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O Lord my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You. 2 Chronicles 6:19.  When King Solomon dedicated the temple, his deepest plea was that God would listen whenever His people prayed toward that holy place. Solomon knew that the temple itself was not powerful, but that God’s presence among His gathered people was the true source of blessing. In the same way, when believers assemble in the church today, they come not merely to a building but into a sacred fellowship where hearts unite before the Lord.  There is a unique spiritual harmony when believers pray together in one accord. Individual prayer is precious, yet corporate prayer carries the beauty of shared faith and agreement. As Solomon expressed, “that Your eyes may be open toward this temple day and night… and that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place” (2 Chr 6:20). When the church gathers an...

Blog Y3 798 - "Humility Before God"

Image
The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.  Proverbs 15:33. True wisdom teaches us to fear the Lord. This holy reverence leads us to honor and worship Him, and His love begins to overflow within us. This reverent fear draws us into a deeper relationship with our Heavenly Father and leads us to the blessings promised in Psalm 128 . The fear of the Lord is not terror but a respectful, loving reverence for our Triune God, revealing our humility as we worship and honor Him. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the perfect example of humility. Though He is the King of kings and Lord of lords, He humbled Himself from birth to the cross. Because of His humility, the Father highly exalted Him. As we draw near to God, His divine character transforms us, shaping us to reflect His love and gentleness. Scripture warns us about pride, for it displeases God and separates us from His favor. But when we humble ourselves before Him, honor will come from the Lord. May the ...

Blog Y3 797 - "Compassion That Shines"

Image
If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. Isaiah 58:10. What a beautiful promise our God gives us! We are living in a dark world. It often feels as though the world is losing its beauty and compassion. Yet, in the midst of this darkness, God promises that our light will shine. He assures us that our darkness will become as bright as the noonday. But this promise is not without purpose. There is a condition we must not overlook. These blessings unfold when we extend our souls to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted. Whenever we sit down to eat, we should remember those who have nothing to eat. As we place food in our mouths, our hearts should be filled with compassion for those who are hungry. This compassion must come from deep within our hearts. That is why we must ask God to make us more like Jesus Christ. In the Gospels, we read that our Lord Jesus was moved with compas...

Blog Y3 796 - "Childlike Intimacy with God"

Image
Therefore, do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. Matthew 6:8. Communication is essential in every relationship. That is why God has given us a perfect way to communicate with Him, through prayer. Prayer is not only a way to develop our relationship with Him, but also a privilege to present our requests before Him. Though He already knows all our needs and desires, He lovingly expects us to come and ask Him with the full assurance, love, and rights of children approaching their Father. He invites us to ask in Jesus’ name, and according to His will, it will be granted. What a loving assurance! We can speak to Him freely, just like children speaking to their father. He does not want long, unnecessary, or merely formal words. He desires loving, sincere, and specific communication from our hearts. No earthly father expects his child to speak like a stranger. He longs for closeness and intimacy. In the same way, our Heavenly Father desires...

And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. Deuteronomy 28:13. Our God is the Author of everything. He is our loving Father. How blessed and privileged we are to be called His sons and daughters! Even earthly parents desire their children to succeed. They never wish to see them in last place or living beneath their potential. How much more does our Heavenly Father, who created us in His own image, desire that we rise, flourish, and reflect His glory? He does not delight in seeing His children defeated or diminished. His heart is for us to be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. Yes, our present circumstances may not always look like this. At times, we may feel overlooked, forgotten, or left behind. But remember, Joseph. Though he was thrown into a pit and later into prison, God’s plan was never defeated. In du...

Blog Y3 794 - "Under God's Steadfast Care"

Image
When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. Psalm 128:2. This blessing follows those who fear the Lord and walk in His ways. Many people work hard, but not everyone enjoys the fruit of their labor. Our God does not delight in giving our blessings into the hands of others. When we remain in God’s hand, and when His mighty hand rests upon us, the work of our hands will surely be blessed. Even if the enemy tries to steal what God has given us, our Almighty God will not allow him to succeed. Our Father never abandons us to the enemy. Whatever has been stolen, our God is able to restore fully and abundantly. We are in God’s hand, and His mighty hand is upon us. Therefore, we shall be happy, and it shall be well with us. With this confidence, let us rejoice and enjoy our Father’s presence each and every day. Reflection: Am I trusting that I remain secure in God’s strength, and am I believing that He can bring back everything I feel has slipped fr...

Blog Y3 793 - "Held by God's Sovereign Love"

Image
The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. Psalm 145:9.  No one is good except our Lord God; these words came from the very mouth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing came into existence on its own; God created everything in heaven and on earth. He created all things for us, but He created us for Himself. God is the Creator of everything, and He continues to care for all that He has made lovingly. Our Lord Himself said that not even a sparrow falls to the ground apart from the will of the Father. If God is so mindful of a tiny sparrow, how much more concerned and attentive will He be toward us! That is why the Scripture declares that the Lord is good to all. He created human beings a little lower than the angels, yet He appointed the angels as ministering spirits to help us. His mercy endures forever, and His care never ceases. He watches over all creation, and we, being the crown of His creation, are especially precious to Him. This truth and confidence c...

Blog Y3 792 - "Seen and Never Alone"

Image
Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, ‘Have I also here seen Him who sees me?’ Genesis 16:13. Ishmael was the seed of Abraham, and because of that, God’s eyes were upon that womb. Truly, God’s eyes move throughout the whole world, but in a very special way, they rest upon His children. In every step we take, God’s eyes are upon us. Even when Hagar was alone, rejected, and in distress, she was still carrying Abraham’s seed. God showed His favor to her in her brokenness. In that moment of divine encounter, she called Him, “You are the God who sees me.” Many eyes may watch us in this world; even evil eyes may look upon us, but the God who protects us from every evil gaze always keeps His eyes on us. He neither sleeps nor slumbers. Whether we walk through difficult paths or peaceful seasons, our Father God is constantly watching over us. This divine awareness helps us to live carefully and keeps us from falling into sin. It reminds u...

Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the shield of your help, and the sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, and you shall tread down their high places. Deuteronomy 33:29. Let us praise and worship our Lord God Almighty, who has loved us and accepted us as His own treasured possession, as spiritual Israelites. How blessed we are! When we were cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, we became God’s own possession. We belong to Him. Therefore, the blessings promised to Israel come upon us as well. How truly blessed we are! No one can be compared to us, because we are sons and daughters of the Most High God. Our God has promised to be the shield of our help and the sword of our majesty. He Himself stands against our enemies. All our enemies will submit to His mighty power. Our God goes before us as a powerful warrior and gives us victory over every enemy. They will bow down, we will overcome, and we will trample down every high pl...

Blog Y3 790 - "Depending on God's Hand"

Image
For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, ‘The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him.’ Ezra 8:22. Man’s power and God’s power are completely different. Human help can assist us only in our present circumstances, but God’s power knows our future as well. Therefore, His help is always perfect and far greater than anything we can imagine. Ezra understood the power of God’s mighty hand, how it protects and sustains both physically and spiritually. He was ashamed to ask the king for protection because he had already testified about God’s power and faithfulness. To depend on human help after declaring trust in God would have contradicted his faith. Even today, though we know God’s power to protect and guide us, we sometimes rush to seek worldly help first. But God desires that we depend comp...
