Blog Y3 799 - "United Hearts in Prayer"

Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O Lord my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You. 2 Chronicles 6:19. 

When King Solomon dedicated the temple, his deepest plea was that God would listen whenever His people prayed toward that holy place. Solomon knew that the temple itself was not powerful, but that God’s presence among His gathered people was the true source of blessing. In the same way, when believers assemble in the church today, they come not merely to a building but into a sacred fellowship where hearts unite before the Lord. 

There is a unique spiritual harmony when believers pray together in one accord. Individual prayer is precious, yet corporate prayer carries the beauty of shared faith and agreement. As Solomon expressed, “that Your eyes may be open toward this temple day and night… and that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place” (2 Chr 6:20). When the church gathers and voices rise in unity in interceding, worshiping, and seeking God’s mercy, the Lord hears from heaven. 

Therefore, let us value the privilege of gathering with fellow believers and praying together. In such assemblies, burdens are shared, faith is strengthened, and heaven’s attention is drawn to the united cry of God’s people. Just as Solomon trusted that God would hear every sincere prayer directed toward His dwelling, we too can be assured that the Lord will listen, respond, and pour out His grace upon His people.

Reflection: Am I faithfully joining others in shared worship, believing that heaven responds when we seek God together with one heart and voice?

என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உமது அடியேன் உமது சந்நிதியில் செய்கிற விண்ணப்பத்தையும் மன்றாட்டையும் கேட்டு, உமது அடியேனுடைய விண்ணப்பத்தையும் வேண்டுதலையும் திருவுளத்தில் கொண்டருளும். 2 நாளாகமம் 6:19.

ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் தேவாலயத்தைப் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்தபோது, அந்தப் பரிசுத்த இடத்தைப் நோக்கித் தம் மக்கள் ஜெபிக்கும்போதெல்லாம் தேவன் செவிகொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே அவருடைய ஆழமான வேண்டுகோளாக இருந்தது. தேவாலயம் என்பது வெறும் கட்டிடம் என்பதால் அது வல்லமை வாய்ந்தது அல்ல, மாறாகக் கூடிவந்த தம் மக்களிடையே தேவனுடைய பிரசன்னம் இருப்பதே ஆசீர்வாதத்தின் உண்மையான ஊற்று என்பதை சாலொமோன் அறிந்திருந்தார். அதேபோல், இன்றும் விசுவாசிகள் சபையாகக் கூடிவரும்போது, அவர்கள் வெறும் ஒரு கட்டிடத்திற்குள் வரவில்லை, கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக இதயங்கள் ஒன்றிணையும் ஒரு புனிதமான ஐக்கியத்திற்குள் வருகிறார்கள்.

விசுவாசிகள் ஒருமனப்பட்டு ஒன்றாக ஜெபிக்கும்போது அங்கு ஒரு தனித்துவமான ஆன்மீக ஒருமைப்பாடு நிலவுகிறது. தனிப்பட்ட ஜெபம் விலைமதிப்பற்றது, இருப்பினும் சபை கூடி ஜெபிப்பது விசுவாசத்தின் ஆழத்தையும்  ஒருமனப்பாட்டையும் கொண்டுள்ளது. சாலொமோன் கூறியது போல, "உமது அடியேன் இந்த ஸ்தலத்திலே செய்யும் ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்கும்படிக்கு, உம்முடைய கண்கள் இந்த ஆலயத்தின்மேல் இரவும் பகலும் திறந்திருப்பதாக" (2 நாளாகமம் 6:20). சபை கூடிவந்து, மன்றாடி ஜெபிப்பது, ஆராதித்தல் மற்றும் தேவனுடைய இரக்கத்தைத் தேடுதல் ஆகியவற்றில் ஒருமித்து ஜெபிக்கும்போது, கர்த்தர் பரலோகத்திலிருந்து கேட்கிறார்.

ஆகவே, சக விசுவாசிகளுடன் கூடிவருவதையும், இணைந்து ஜெபிப்பதையும் ஒரு பாக்கியமாகக் கருதுவோம். இத்தகையக் கூட்டங்களில், பாரங்கள் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளப்படுகின்றன, விசுவாசம் பலப்படுத்தப்படுகிறது, மேலும் தேவனுடைய மக்களின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த கூக்குரல் பரலோகத்தின் கவனத்தை ஈர்க்கிறது. தேவனுடைய வாசஸ்தலத்தை நோக்கி ஏறெடுக்கப்படும் ஒவ்வொரு உண்மையான ஜெபத்தையும் தேவன் கேட்பார் என்று சாலொமோன் நம்பியது போலவே, கர்த்தர் நமக்கும் செவிகொடுத்து, பதிலளித்து, தம் மக்கள் மீது கிருபையைப் பொழிவார் என்று நாமும் உறுதியுடன் இருக்கலாம்.

சிந்திக்க: நாம் ஒரே இருதயத்தோடும், ஒற்றுமையோடும் தேவனைத் தேடும்போது பரலோகத்திலிருந்து தேவன் பதிலளிப்பார் என்று நம்பி, பிறரோடு இணைந்து ஆராதிப்பதில் நான் உண்மையுள்ளவனாக இருக்கிறேனா?
