Blog Y3 798 - "Humility Before God"

The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility. Proverbs 15:33.

True wisdom teaches us to fear the Lord. This holy reverence leads us to honor and worship Him, and His love begins to overflow within us. This reverent fear draws us into a deeper relationship with our Heavenly Father and leads us to the blessings promised in Psalm 128. The fear of the Lord is not terror but a respectful, loving reverence for our Triune God, revealing our humility as we worship and honor Him.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the perfect example of humility. Though He is the King of kings and Lord of lords, He humbled Himself from birth to the cross. Because of His humility, the Father highly exalted Him. As we draw near to God, His divine character transforms us, shaping us to reflect His love and gentleness.

Scripture warns us about pride, for it displeases God and separates us from His favor. But when we humble ourselves before Him, honor will come from the Lord. May the Holy Spirit guard our hearts and help us overcome pride in every area of our lives, so that we may walk in humility, reverence, and love before Him.

Reflection: Am I cultivating deep reverence that shapes my character into gentleness and lowliness, allowing my attitudes and actions to mirror Christ in daily life?

கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் ஞானத்தைப் போதிக்கும்; மேன்மைக்கு முன்னானது தாழ்மை.  நீதிமொழிகள் 15:33.

உண்மையான ஞானம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்பட நமக்குக் கற்பிக்கிறது. இந்தத் தூயபக்தி கலந்த பயம், அவரை கனப்படுத்தவும் ஆராதிக்கவும் நம்மை வழிநடத்துகிறது; அப்பொழுது அவருடைய அன்பு நமக்குள்ளிருந்து பெருக்கெடுத்து ஓடத் தொடங்குகிறது. இந்தத் தெய்வ பயம் நம் பரலோகத் தகப்பனுடன் ஆழமான உறவுக்குள் நம்மை ஈர்த்து, சங்கீதம் 128-ல் வாக்குறுதி அளிக்கப்பட்ட ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்கு நேராக நம்மை வழிநடத்துகிறது. கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் என்பது திகில் அல்ல, மாறாக நம்முடைய திரித்துவ தேவன் மீதுள்ள மரியாதைக்குரிய, அன்பான பக்தியாகும். நாம் அவரை ஆராதிக்கும்போதும் கனப்படுத்தும்போதும் இது நம்முடைய தாழ்மையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.

நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தாழ்மைக்கு மிகச்சிறந்த முன்மாதிரி. அவர் ராஜாதி ராஜாவும் கர்த்தாதி கர்த்தாவுமாய் இருந்தும், பிறப்பு முதல் சிலுவை வரை தம்மைத்தாமே தாழ்த்தினார். அவருடைய தாழ்மையினிமித்தம், பிதாவாகிய தேவன் அவரை மிகவும் உயர்த்தினார். நாம் தேவனிடம் நெருங்கி வரும்போது, அவருடைய தெய்வீகத் தன்மை நம்மை மறுரூபமாக்கி, அவருடைய அன்பையும் சாந்தத்தையும் பிரதிபலிக்கும் விதமாக நம்மை உருவாக்குகிறது.

பெருமையைக் குறித்து வேதாகமம் நம்மை எச்சரிக்கிறது, ஏனெனில் அது தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமில்லாதது மற்றும் அவருடைய தயவிலிருந்து நம்மைப் பிரித்துவிடும். ஆனால், நாம் அவர் முன்பாக நம்மைத் தாழ்த்தும்போது, கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து கனம் வரும். பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நம் இதயங்களைக் காத்து, நம் வாழ்வின் ஒவ்வொரு பகுதியிலும் பெருமையை வெல்ல நமக்கு உதவுவாராக; இதன் மூலம் நாம் அவர் முன்பாக தாழ்மையிலும், பக்தியிலும், அன்பிலும் நடக்க முடியும்.

சிந்திக்க: எனது குணாதிசயத்தைச் சாந்தமாகவும் தாழ்மையாகவும் மாற்றக்கூடிய ஆழமான தெய்வ பயத்தை நான் வளர்த்து, அதன் மூலம் எனது அன்றாட வாழ்வில் எனது மனப்பான்மைகளும் செயல்களும் கிறிஸ்துவைப் பிரதிபலிக்கின்றனவா?
