Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1.
Justification by faith is one of the most remarkable gifts God has given to believers. It means that through faith in Jesus, not our performance, not our perfection, not our worthiness, we are declared righteous before God. This isn’t a future hope or a reward for spiritual achievement; it is a present reality for everyone who trusts in Christ. That truth alone brings comfort to weary hearts.
Because we are justified by faith, Paul says we now have peace with God. This peace is not merely a feeling, nor is it the temporary calm that the world offers. It is a restored relationship with God. No more separation, no more enmity, no more striving to earn God’s favor. Even when life feels chaotic, this peace remains untouched, because it rests not on us but on Christ’s finished work.
Through Jesus Christ, we are invited to live in that peace every day. When fear threatens, His peace steadies our steps, which remains forever within us. Take a moment today to thank God for the gift of justification and the peace it brings.
Reflection: Am I choosing to trust Jesus with my worries, believing He can steady my thoughts when I feel unsure about what is happening around me?
இவ்விதமாக, நாம் விசுவாசத்தினாலே நீதிமானாக்கப்பபட்டிருக்கிறபடியால், நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துமூலமாய் தேவனிடத்தில் சமாதானம் பெற்றிருக்கிறோம். ரோமர் 5:1.
விசுவாசத்தினால் நீதிமானாக்கப்படுதல் என்பது தேவன் விசுவாசிகளுக்கு அளித்த மிகச்சிறந்த கொடைகளில் ஒன்றாகும். இதன் பொருள் என்னவென்றால், நம்முடைய செயல்களாலோ, நம்முடைய பரிபூரணத்தாலோ அல்லது நம்முடைய தகுதியினாலோ அல்ல, இயேசுவின் மேல் நாம் வைத்திருக்கும் விசுவாசத்தின் மூலமாகவே நாம் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக நீதிமான்கள் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம். இது ஒரு எதிர்கால நம்பிக்கையோ அல்லது ஆன்மீக சாதனைகளுக்கான வெகுமதியோ அல்ல; கிறிஸ்துவை நம்பும் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் இது ஒரு நிகழ்கால உண்மையாகும். இந்த ஒரு சத்தியமே சோர்ந்துபோன இதயங்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் அளிக்கிறது.
நாம் விசுவாசத்தினாலே நீதிமானாக்கப்பபட்டிருப்பதால், இப்போது நாம் தேவனுடன் சமாதானத்தைக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம் என்று பவுல் கூறுகிறார். இந்தச் சமாதானம் வெறும் ஒரு உணர்வு அல்ல, அல்லது உலகம் கொடுக்கும் தற்காலிக அமைதியும் அல்ல. இது தேவனுடன் மீண்டும் நிலைநாட்டப்பட்ட ஒரு உறவாகும். இனி பிரிவினை இல்லை, பகைமை இல்லை, தேவனுடைய தயவைப் பெறுவதற்காகப் போராட வேண்டிய அவசியமும் இல்லை. வாழ்க்கை குழப்பமாகத் தோன்றும்போதும், இந்தச் சமாதானம் மாறாமல் இருக்கிறது, ஏனென்றால் இது நம்மைச் சார்ந்திருக்காமல் கிறிஸ்து முடித்துவைத்த கிரியையின் மேல் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.
இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலமாக, ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் அந்தச் சமாதானத்தில் வாழ நாம் அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். பயம் நம்மை அச்சுறுத்தும்போது, அவருடைய சமாதானம் நம் படிகளை உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறது, அது என்றென்றும் நமக்குள்ளேயே இருக்கிறது. நீதிமானாக்கப்படுதல் எனும் ஈவிற்காகவும் அது தரும் சமாதானத்திற்காகவும் இன்று ஒரு நிமிடம் தேவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துங்கள்.
சிந்திக்க: என்னைச் சுற்றி நடப்பவை குறித்து நான் நிச்சயமற்ற நிலையில் இருக்கும்போது, இயேசு எனது எண்ணங்களை உறுதிப்படுத்துவார் என்று நம்பி, எனது கவலைகளை அவரிடம் ஒப்படைக்க நான் முன்வருகிறேனா?
Through faith in God we are saved not by our perfection or performance or our deeds.

When God tests us ,we show faith like Abraham did when he said to his son ,that the lord will provide the lamb for sacrifice! Jehovah Jireh !

Thank you lord for the peace you gave in the year that went by with various challenges and testing times ,you provided and restored us Lord. You are a God who doesn’t annihilate but who restores any thing.
You make a stump grow into an opulent tree ! You are a God of miracles!!
