Blog Y3 874 - "Waiting for Promised Joy"
He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, and your lips with rejoicing. Job 8:21.
The word yet carries a deep and powerful meaning in this verse. Job was going through unbearable agony and great sorrow. Though he was upright in the sight of God, he lost everything. Yet, through this verse, God gave him a beautiful hope of restoration. In the end, God restored to Job double of all that he had lost.
In the same way, we too may go through difficult seasons in life. At times, we may feel there is no way out of our painful situations. We may expect the fire to die down, but instead it may seem seven times hotter. But even in the midst of such trials, God gives us this promise: “Our suffering will not last forever.”
Our Heavenly Father is bringing every season of pain to an end. He is able to restore double for everything we have lost. He will fill our mouths with laughter and our hearts with joy once again.
Let us hold on to this promise and declare His Word over every broken and destroyed area of our lives. The same God who restored Job is also faithful to restore us. He will surely fill our mouths with laughter and our lips with rejoicing.

Reflection: How can I keep believing in a brighter season when my heart feels weighed down and I long for the moment when joy rises again in ways I cannot yet see?
இனி அவர் உம்முடைய வாயை நகைப்பினாலும், உம்முடைய உதடுகளைக் கெம்பீரத்தினாலும் நிரப்புவார். யோபு 8:21.
இந்த வசனத்தில் உள்ள "இனி" என்ற வார்த்தை ஆழமான மற்றும் வல்லமையான அர்த்தத்தைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. யோபு தாங்க முடியாத வேதனையையும் மிகுந்த துக்கத்தையும் கடந்து கொண்டிருந்தான். அவன் தேவனின் பார்வையில் உத்தமனாக இருந்தபோதிலும், எல்லாவற்றையும் இழந்தான். ஆனாலும், இந்த வசனத்தின் மூலம், தேவன் அவனுக்குப் புதுப்பிக்கப்படுதலின் அழகான ஒரு நம்பிக்கையைக் கொடுத்தார். இறுதியில், யோபு இழந்த எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் இரட்டிப்பாக தேவன் அவனுக்குத் திரும்பக் கொடுத்தார்.
அதேபோல, நாமும் வாழ்வில் கடினமான காலங்களைக் கடந்து செல்லக்கூடும். சில நேரங்களில், நம்முடைய வேதனையான சூழ்நிலைகளிலிருந்து வெளியே வர வழியே இல்லை என்று நாம் உணரலாம். அக்கினி தணியும் என்று நாம் எதிர்பார்க்கலாம், ஆனால் அதற்குப் பதிலாக அது ஏழு மடங்கு அதிக சூடாகத் தோன்றலாம். ஆனால் இப்படிப்பட்ட சோதனைகளுக்கு மத்தியிலும், தேவன் நமக்கு இந்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை அளிக்கிறார்: "நம்முடைய பாடுகள் என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்காது."
நம் பரம பிதா ஒவ்வொரு வேதனையின் காலத்தையும் முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டுவருகிறார். நாம் இழந்த எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் இரட்டிப்பாகப் புதுப்பித்துத் தர அவர் வல்லவராக இருக்கிறார். அவர் மீண்டும் ஒருமுறை நம் வாய்களை நகைப்பினாலும் நம் இருதயங்களை மகிழ்ச்சியினாலும் நிரப்புவார்.
இந்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்தைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு, நம் வாழ்வின் உடைந்த மற்றும் அழிக்கப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொரு பகுதியின் மீதும் அவருடைய வார்த்தையை அறிக்கையிடுவோம். யோபுவைப் புதுப்பித்த அதே தேவன் நம்மையும் புதுப்பிக்க உண்மையுள்ளவராக இருக்கிறார். அவர் நிச்சயமாகவே நம் வாயை நகைப்பினாலும் நம் உதடுகளைக் கெம்பீரத்தினாலும் நிரப்புவார்.

சிந்திக்க: என் இருதயம் பாரத்தால் அழுத்தப்படும்போது, என்னால் இன்னும் காண முடியாத வழிகளில் மகிழ்ச்சி மீண்டும் எழும்பும் அந்தத் தருணத்திற்காக நான் ஏங்கும்போது, ஒரு பிரகாசமான காலம் வரும் என்று நான் தொடர்ந்து விசுவாசிப்பது எப்படி?
In the end, after the trials ended ,God blessed Job double than his latter life !
ReplyDeleteJoel 2:25 states -I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten
The context describes many other positive things that would take place during this restoration:
-Green pasture for livestock: “the pastures of the wilderness are green”
-Trees and vines that bear fruit: “the tree bears its fruit; the fig tree and vine give their full yield”
-The spring and summer rains would come as needed for a good crop: “he has given the early rain”
The results of this restoration would be both physical and spiritual. Physically, “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied.” Spiritually, they would “praise the name of the LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you”
