Blog Y3 700 - "Choosing the Narrow Way"

In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death. Proverbs 12:28.

The path of righteousness leads to life, and there is no trace of death in it. When we see true righteousness, we find life itself. The way that leads to eternal life is often narrow, sometimes filled with thorns, ups, and downs. Yet, in every step we take, God’s hand is with us, and His presence surrounds us.

At times, we may see only one set of footprints on that narrow path; those are not ours, but God’s. It is He who carries us on His shoulders and walks the journey for us. The righteous path may seem difficult, but it leads to everlasting life.

In contrast, the path of unrighteousness is wide, smooth, and easy to walk on, but it leads to death and destruction.

Now, the choice is ours. Let us be watchful and wise to choose the narrow way of righteousness. Even though it may seem rough or crooked, we are never alone. Our loving Father walks with us. Nothing can harm us without His permission, and His hand will guide us safely to our true destination, eternal life.

Reflection: Am I faithfully walking in the path that leads to true life, trusting that even when the journey feels hard, God is carrying me and guiding every step toward His eternal promise?

நீதியின் பாதை ஜீவனுக்கு வழிநடத்துகிறது, அதில் மரணத்தின் சாயலே இல்லை. நாம் உண்மையான நீதியைக் காணும்போது, நாம் ஜீவனையே காண்கிறோம். நித்திய ஜீவனுக்கு வழிநடத்தும் பாதை பெரும்பாலும் இடுக்கமானதாகவும், சில சமயங்களில் முட்களாலும், ஏற்றத்தாழ்வுகளாலும் நிறைந்ததாகவும் இருக்கும். ஆயினும், நாம் எடுத்துவைக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு அடியிலும் தேவனுடைய கரம் நம்முடன் இருக்கிறது, அவருடைய பிரசன்னம் நம்மைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிறது.

சில சமயங்களில், அந்த இடுக்கமான பாதையில் ஒரே ஒரு பாதச்சுவட்டை மட்டுமே நாம் காணலாம்; அது நம்முடையது அல்ல, அது தேவனுடையது. அவரே நம்மைத் தம்முடைய தோள்களில் சுமந்து, நமக்காகப் பயணிக்கிறார். நீதியுள்ள பாதை கடினமானதாகத் தோன்றலாம், ஆனால் அது நித்திய ஜீவனுக்கு வழிநடத்துகிறது.

இதற்கு நேர்மாறாக, அநீதியின் பாதை அகலமாகவும், மென்மையாகவும், நடப்பதற்கு எளிதாகவும் இருக்கிறது, ஆனால் அது மரணத்திற்கும் அழிவுக்கும் வழிவகுக்கிறது.

இப்போது, தெரிந்தெடுப்பது நம்முடையது. நீதியின் இடுக்கமான வழியைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ள நாம் விழிப்புடனும் ஞானத்துடனும் இருப்போமாக. அது கரடுமுரடாக அல்லது கோணலாகத் தோன்றினாலும், நாம் ஒருபோதும் தனிமையாக இல்லை. நம்முடைய அன்புள்ள பிதா நம்மோடு நடக்கிறார். அவருடைய அனுமதியின்றி எதுவும் நம்மைச் சேதப்படுத்த முடியாது, மேலும் அவருடைய கரம் நம்முடைய உண்மையான இலக்கான நித்திய ஜீவனுக்கு நம்மைப் பாதுகாப்பாக வழிநடத்தும்.

சிந்திக்க: உண்மையான ஜீவனுக்கு செல்லும் பாதையில் நான் உண்மையுடன் நடந்து, பயணம் கடினமாக உணரும்போது கூட, தேவன் என்னைத் சுமந்து சென்று, அவருடைய நித்திய வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை நோக்கி என்னை வழிநடத்துகிறார் என்று நம்புகிறேனா?
