Blog Y3 683 - "Blessed to Bless Others"

God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. Psalms 67:7.

God’s blessings are not limited to physical needs alone but also include spiritual blessings that enrich our souls. He blesses His people so that the whole world may come to know Him, honor Him, and stand in awe of His greatness. His blessings are never meant for us to keep to ourselves but to reveal His glory to all the nations.

When God blesses His children, it is so that we may become a blessing to others. Those who experience His goodness through us will be led to glorify our Heavenly Father. The “fear” spoken of here is not a fear of panic or dread, but a deep reverence and awe that fills the heart when people hear of God’s mighty works in the lives of His children.

As recipients of His blessings, we are called to live in such a way that our lives bring glory and magnify God alone. Unlike worldly blessings that fade away and often bring worry or sorrow, God’s blessings are lasting and eternal. He adds no pain to them, only joy and peace. Psalm 22:27 says: “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations shall worship before You.”

Reflection: Am I living in such a way that the blessings I receive lead others to recognize God’s greatness, stirring their hearts with reverence and drawing them to glorify Him through what they see in my life? 

தேவன் எங்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்; பூமியின் எல்லைகளெல்லாம் அவருக்குப் பயந்திருக்கும். சங்­கீதம் 67:7.

தேவனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் சரீரத் தேவைகளுக்கு மட்டும் அல்ல, நம் ஆத்துமாவைச் செழுமைப்படுத்தும் ஆவிக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும் உள்ளடக்கியவை. உலகத்தார் யாவரும் அவரைக் கண்டுகொண்டு, கனம் செய்து, அவருடைய மகத்துவத்தைக் கண்டு பிரமிக்கும்படியாக அவர் தம் மக்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார். அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் ஒருபோதும் நாம் நமக்கென்றே வைத்துக்கொள்ள அல்ல, மாறாக அவருடைய மகிமையை சகல தேசங்களுக்கும் வெளிப்படுத்தவேண்டும் .

தேவன் தம் பிள்ளைகளை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்போது, நாம் மற்றவர்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதமாய் இருக்கவேண்டுமென்பதே அதன் நோக்கம். நம் வழியாக அவருடைய நன்மையை அனுபவிக்கிறவர்கள் நம்முடைய பரம பிதாவை மகிமைப்படுத்தும்படி வழிநடத்தப்படுவார்கள். இங்கே கூறப்பட்டிருக்கும் “பயம்” என்பது பதற்றமோ அல்லது திகிலோ அல்ல, ஆனால் மக்கள் தேவனுடைய வல்லமையான கிரியைகளைத் தம் பிள்ளைகளின் வாழ்வில் கேள்விப்படும்போது, அவர்களின் இருதயத்தை நிரப்பும் ஆழமான மரியாதையும் பிரமிப்புமே ஆகும்.

அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறுகிறவர்களாகிய நாம், நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கை தேவனுக்கு மட்டுமே மகிமையையும் மேன்மையையும் கொண்டுவரும் விதத்தில் வாழும்படி அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம். உலகத்தின் ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் மங்கிப்போய், பெரும்பாலும் கவலையையோ அல்லது துக்கத்தையோ கொண்டுவருவதுபோலன்றி, தேவனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் நீடித்து நிலைப்பவை, நித்தியமானவை. அவர் அவற்றுடன் எந்த வேதனையையும் சேர்ப்பதில்லை, மகிழ்ச்சியையும் சமாதானத்தையும் மட்டுமே சேர்க்கிறார். சங்­கீதம் 22:27 சொல்­லுகிறது: “பூமியின் எல்லைகளெல்லாம் நினைவுகூர்ந்து கர்த்தரிடத்தில் திரும்பும்; ஜாதிகளுடைய சந்ததிகளெல்லாம் உமது சமுகத்தில் தொழுதுகொள்ளும்.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் பெறும் ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் மற்றவர்கள் தேவனுடைய மகத்துவத்தை அடையாளம் காணவும், பயபக்தியுடன் அவர்களின் இருதயங்களைத் தூண்டவும், என் வாழ்க்கையில் அவர்கள் காண்கின்றவை தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்த அவர்களை ஈர்க்கும் விதத்தில் இருக்கிறதா?
