Blog Y3 685 - "Draw Near to God"

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. Isaiah 59:1.

“Behold” means stop, look, and pay attention. So often we fail to recognize that God’s hand is always with us. Throughout Scripture, whenever God’s hand was upon His people, they were never left alone. They were guided, protected, and upheld by His mighty power. That same strong and faithful hand is still with us today. His hands are never weak, powerless, or inactive to redeem us. The true hindrance is not with Him, but with us, our doubts, disobedience, or wandering hearts.

This is why our prayer should be: “Lord, do not let go of us. Hold our hands tightly, for if we try to hold Yours, we may let go and run away. But if You hold us, we are safe forever.” His hand is strong and mighty, and He is able to do marvelous things in our lives.

In the same way, God’s ear is not deaf to the cries of His people. He is always ready to listen. He Himself has promised in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” When we cry out sincerely, from the depths of our hearts, He bends down to hear us. His ear is never too heavy, His compassion never too far, and His promises never fail.

Therefore, let us draw near to Him with genuine prayers, trusting that He not only hears but also answers and helps us in His perfect time. Truly, His hand is mighty to save, and His ear is always attentive to His children.

Reflection: Am I truly trusting the strong hand of God to hold me steady and safe, and am I calling on Him with confidence, believing His ear is always ready to hear and answer me?

இதோ, இரட்சிக்கக்கூடாதபடிக்குக் கர்த்தருடைய கை குறுகிப்போகவுமில்லை; கேட்கக்கூடாதபடிக்கு அவருடைய செவி மந்தமாகவுமில்லை. ஏசாயா 59:1.

“இதோ” (Behold) என்பதற்கு நில்லுங்கள், பாருங்கள், கவனம் செலுத்துங்கள் என்று அர்த்தம். தேவனுடைய கரம் எப்போதும் நம்முடனேயே இருக்கிறது என்பதை நாம் பலமுறை உணராமல் போகிறோம். வேதாகமம் முழுவதும், தேவனுடைய கரம் தம்முடைய மக்கள்மேல் இருந்தபோதெல்லாம், அவர்கள் ஒருபோதும் தனியாக விடப்படவில்லை. அவர்கள் அவருடைய வல்லமையுள்ள கரத்தால் வழிநடத்தப்பட்டார்கள், பாதுகாக்கப்பட்டார்கள், தாங்கப்பட்டார்கள். அதே பலமும் உண்மையும் உள்ள கரம் இன்றும் நம்முடனேயே உள்ளது. நம்மை மீட்கும்படிக்கு அவருடைய கைகள் ஒருபோதும் பெலவீனமானதாய், சக்தியற்றதாய் அல்லது செயல்படாததாய் இருப்பதில்லை. உண்மையான தடையாக இருப்பது அவரிடம் அல்ல, மாறாக நம்மிடமே, நம்முடைய சந்தேகங்கள், கீழ்ப்படியாமை அல்லது நிலையில்லாத இருதயத்தில்தான் உள்ளது.

ஆகவேதான் நம்முடைய ஜெபம் இப்படி இருக்க வேண்டும்: "ஆண்டவரே, எங்களைக் கைவிடாதேயும். எங்கள் கைகளை உறுதியாகப் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளும், ஏனெனில் நாங்கள் உம்முடைய கையைப் பிடிக்க முயன்றால், நாங்கள் விட்டுவிட்டு ஓடிவிடலாம். ஆனால் நீர் எங்களைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டால், நாங்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் பாதுகாப்பாக இருப்போம்.” அவருடைய கரம் பலமும் வல்லமையும் உள்ளது, மேலும் அவர் நம் வாழ்வில் அற்புதமான காரியங்களைச் செய்ய வல்லவராக இருக்கிறார்.

அதேபோல், தேவனுடைய செவி அவருடைய மக்களின் அழுகுரலைக் கேட்க முடியாதபடிக்குச் செவிடானதல்ல. அவர் எப்போதும் கேட்க ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கிறார். "என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடு, அப்பொழுது நான் உனக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுத்து, நீ அறியாததும் உனக்கு எட்டாததுமான பெரிய காரியங்களை உனக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்.” என்று எரேமியா 33:3-ல் அவரே வாக்குறுதி அளித்துள்ளார். நாம் உள்ளத்தின் ஆழத்திலிருந்து உண்மையோடு கூக்குரலிடும்போது, அவர் கவனித்து கேட்கிறார். அவருடைய செவி ஒருபோதும் மந்தமானதல்ல, அவருடைய இரக்கம் ஒருபோதும் வெகு தொலைவில் இல்லை, அவருடைய வாக்குறுதிகள் ஒருபோதும் தவறுவதில்லை.

ஆகவே, நாம் உண்மை­யான ஜெபங்களுடன் அவரிடம் நெருங்கிச் செல்வோமாக; அவர் கேட்பது மட்டுமல்லாமல், பதிலளித்து, அவருடைய சரியான நேரத்தில் நமக்கு உதவுகிறார் என்று நம்புவோமாக. உண்மையாகவே, இரட்சிக்க அவருடைய கரம் வல்லமையுள்ளது, மேலும் அவருடைய செவி எப்போதும் அவருடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்க ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கிறது.

சிந்திக்க: என்னை உறுதியாகவும் பாதுகாப்பாகவும் தாங்கும்படி தேவனுடைய பலமான கரத்தை நான் உண்மையிலேயே நம்பி, அவர் எப்போதும் கேட்கவும் பதிலளிக்கவும் ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கிறார் என்று விசுவாசித்து, நான் நம்பிக்கையுடன் அவரைக் கூப்பிடுகிறேனா?
