"Blog Y2 655 - "Love Beyond All Measure"

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8.

The Bible says that no one would willingly give up his life even for his own child. If someone does lay down his life, that is the greatest sacrifice in this world. On the other hand, if the person had done something wrong against him, no one would be willing to die for him. But our Heavenly Father sent His only begotten Son to take our place, even though we had completely gone against His will. 

Instead of waiting for us to become holy or perfect, He met us in our brokenness. This truth should give us great hope in times of weakness. Even when we fail, His love remains strong, and His forgiveness is always available. Out of love, He chose the cross; through His sacrifice, our sins were nailed there; and by His salvation, we now have eternal life.

The cross stands as the ultimate demonstration of love that never fails, a sacrifice that redeems us, and a salvation that restores us to God. Let us live each day remembering this grace, walking in gratitude, and sharing this hope with others. 1 John 4:10 says: ”In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

Reflection: Am I truly living each day in gratitude, knowing that I was loved even in my brokenness, and that through Christ’s sacrifice I have received forgiveness, restoration, and the hope of eternal life?

நாம் பாவிகளாயிருக்கையில் கிறிஸ்து நமக்காக மரித்ததினாலே, தேவன் நம்மேல் வைத்த தமது அன்பை விளங்கப்பண்ணுகிறார். ரோமர் 5:8.

ஒருவனும் தன் சொந்தப் பிள்ளைக்காகவுங்கூட  தன் உயிரைக் மனமுவந்து கொடுக்க மாட்டான் என்று வேதம் கூறுகிறது. ஒருவேளை ஒருவர் தன் உயிரைக் கொடுத்தால், அதுவே இந்த உலகில் மிக உயர்ந்த தியாகம். மறுபுறம், அந்த நபர் தனக்கு எதிராக ஏதாவது தவறு செய்திருந்தால், யாரும் அவருக்காக உயிரைக் கொடுக்க விரும்ப மாட்டார்கள். ஆனால், நாம் அவருடைய சித்தத்திற்கு முற்றிலும் விரோதமாக இருந்தபோதிலும், நம் பரம பிதா நமக்கு பதிலாகத் தமது ஒரேபேறான குமாரனை அனுப்பினார்.

நாம் பரிசுத்தமாகவோ அல்லது பூரணமாகவோ மாறுவதற்காகக் காத்திருக்காமல், நம்முடைய உடைந்துபோன நிலையில் நம்மைச் சந்தித்தார். இந்த உண்மை நம்முடைய பலவீனமான நேரங்களில் நமக்கு மிகுந்த நம்பிக்கையைத் தர வேண்டும். நாம் தவறு செய்யும்போதும்கூட, அவருடைய அன்பு உறுதியாக இருக்கிறது, அவருடைய மன்னிப்பு எப்போதும் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கிறது. அன்பினாலே அவர் சிலுவையைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்; அவருடைய தியாகத்தின் மூலமாக, நம்முடைய பாவங்கள் அங்கே அறையப்பட்டன; அவருடைய இரட்சிப்பின் மூலமாக, நாம் இப்போது நித்திய ஜீவனைப் பெற்றுள்ளோம்.

சிலுவை ஒருபோதும் தோல்வியடையாத அன்பின் உச்சபட்ச வெளிப்பாடாகவும், நம்மை மீட்கும் தியாகமாகவும், நம்மை தேவனோடு ஒப்புரவாக்கும் இரட்சிப்பாகவும் நிற்கிறது. இந்த கிருபையை நினைவுகூர்ந்து, நன்றியுணர்வுடன் நடந்து, இந்த நம்பிக்கையை மற்றவர்களுடன் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டு ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் வாழ்வோமாக. 1 யோவான் 4:10 சொல்லுகிறது: “நாம் தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்ததினால் அல்ல, அவர் நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நிவிர்த்திசெய்கிற கிருபாதாரபலியாகத் தம்முடைய குமாரனை அனுப்பினதினாலே அன்பு உண்டாயிருக்கிறது..”

சிந்திக்க: நான் உடைந்துபோன நிலையில் இருந்தபோதிலும், நான் நேசிக்கப்பட்டேன் என்பதையும், கிறிஸ்துவின் தியாகத்தின் மூலம் மன்னிப்பு, மறுசீரமைப்பு மற்றும் நித்திய ஜீவனின் நம்பிக்கையைப் பெற்றுள்ளேன் என்பதையும் அறிந்து, ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் உண்மையிலேயே நன்றியுணர்வுடன் வாழ்கிறேனா?
