"Blog Y2 646 - "Seeking God Above All"

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33.

The world shouts, “Chase after more!” Yet the more we grasp, the emptier we feel. Deep within every heart is a hollow place, one that no treasure, no applause, no earthly pleasure can fill. Only God can fill that sacred space. Only in His presence will our souls be truly satisfied. This is why He whispers, “Seek Me first.” When our eyes are fixed on His Kingdom and our hearts on His righteousness, blessings will quietly follow, like rivers flowing from the source.

Our God already holds every good gift in abundance. But He calls us to seek Him, not for what He can give, but for who He is, the Lord we love with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

And when He sees our hunger for Him, He will open the floodgates of heaven. Not just to meet our needs, but to overflow them. So let us rise each day with one purpose: to seek God first, and watch as everything else falls beautifully into place. Psalm 37:4 says: “Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

Reflection: Am I making the pursuit of God my highest priority, fixing my heart on Him daily, trusting that when I put Him first, everything else I truly need will be lovingly provided?

முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக் கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும். மத்தேயு 6:33.

உலகம், “இன்னும் அதிகம் பெற நாடுங்கள்!” என்று சத்தமிடுகிறது. ஆனால், நாம் எவ்வளவு அதிகமாகப் பெறுகிறோமோ, அவ்வளவு அதிகமாக வெறுமையாக உணர்கிறோம். ஒவ்வொரு இதயத்திற்குள்ளும் ஒரு வெற்றிடம் உள்ளது, அதை எந்த செல்வத்தினாலும், ஆர்பரிப்பினாலும், அல்லது பூலோக மகிழ்ச்சியினாலும் நிரப்ப முடியாது. தேவன் ஒருவரால் மட்டுமே அந்தப் பரிசுத்த இடத்தைப் பூர்த்தி செய்ய முடியும். அவருடைய பிரசன்னத்தில் மட்டுமே நம் ஆன்மா உண்மையிலேயே திருப்தியடையும். அதனால்தான் அவர், “முதலில் என்னைத் தேடுங்கள்” என்று மெதுவாகக் கூறுகிறார். நம் கண்கள் அவருடைய ராஜ்யத்தின் மீதும் நம் இதயங்கள் அவருடைய நீதியின் மீதும் நிலைத்திருக்கும்போது, ஆசீர்வாதங்கள், ஊற்றுக்கண்களிலிருந்து பாயும் நதிகளைப் போல அமைதியாகப் பின்தொடரும்.

நம் தேவன் ஏற்கனவே ஒவ்வொரு நல்ல பரிசையும் ஏராளமாக வைத்திருக்கிறார். ஆனால் அவர் எதை கொடுக்க முடியும் என்பதற்காக அல்ல, ஆனால் அவர் யார் என்பதற்காக, நம்முடைய முழு இருதயத்தோடும், ஆன்மாவோடும், மனதோடும், பெலத்தோடும் நாம் நேசிக்கும் கர்த்தராகிய அவரைத் தேட நம்மை அழைக்கிறார்.

நாம் அவர்மேல் கொண்ட தாகத்தை  அவர் காணும்போது, பரலோகத்தின் கதவுகளைத் திறப்பார். நம் தேவைகளைச் சந்திப்பதற்காக மட்டுமல்ல, அவை நிரம்பி வழியவும் செய்வார். எனவே, நாம் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் ஒரே நோக்கத்துடன் எழுவோம்: முதலில் தேவனைத் தேடுவோம், மற்ற அனைத்தும் நேர்மையாகத்  தானாகவே நடப்பதைக் காண்போம். சங்கீதம் 37:4 சொல்லுகிறது: “கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு; அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை உனக்கு அருள்செய்வார்.”

சிந்தனை: தேவனை நான் முதலில் வைக்கும்போது, எனக்கு உண்மையில் தேவைப்படும் அனைத்தும் வழங்கப்படும் என்று நம்பி, என் இதயத்தை அவர்மீது தினமும் நிலைநிறுத்தி தேவனைத் தேடுவது என் முன்னுரிமையாக ஆக்குகிறேனா?
