"Blog Y2 553 - God Goes Before Us Always"

Image
And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8. There is no greater privilege or blessing than knowing that our Lord God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the One who holds our future and knows every minute detail of our lives, is the One who goes before us. Not only does He go before us, but He is also with us and dwells within us. What a beautiful promise from the God who never lies or changes His Word! He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. People may fail us, but our loving Father will never give up on us. We are unworthy of such love; we have denied Him so many times, yet He continues to love us. His ultimate desire is to bring us to Himself so that we may reign with Him. How can we ever repay such amazing love? The only way is by doing His will and fulfilling the mission He has assigned to each of us. If God is for us, who can be against us? We can boldly step in...

"Blog Y2 552 - Shaped by His Perfect Love"

Image
Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness. Let Your mercies come also to me, O Lord—Your salvation according to Your word. So shall I have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in Your word. Psalm 119:40-42. Oh, what a precious prayer from the heart of the psalmist! May it become the cry of our hearts as well. How perfect is the righteousness of our God! We long to walk in His commandments, to delight in His ways. When love for Him fills our hearts, it births a deep longing to please Him in all things. As the Holy Spirit enters and takes His rightful place within us, He abundantly pours the Father’s love into our souls, shaping our desires and leading us into all truth. How sweet it is to dwell in the embrace of our Heavenly Father! His promises are our anchor and song, lifting our spirits when we are weary. He is faithful in fulfilling every word He has spoken because His love never fails. In His perfect time, the world will see Christ alive in us. T...

"Blog Y2 551 - Trusting God, Bearing Fruit"

Image
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.  Psalm 52:8. There is a great difference between the one who trusts in God and the one who puts his confidence in worldly riches, forgetting the One who created him. The one who trusts in God is like a green olive tree, flourishing in the house of the Lord. His greatest joy and delight will be to dwell in God’s presence forever. Like the olive tree, he will be deeply rooted, steadily growing, and bearing fruit in due season. When the olive is crushed, it produces oil that serves many purposes, so too, as believers planted in the house of God, we are called to be deeply rooted in faith, to bear lasting fruit, and to be used for God’s glory. Our trust will remain forever in the Lord’s unchanging love and enduring mercy. Jeremiah 17:7 says: "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord." Reflection: Am I deeply rooted in faith, like the olive tree in God...

"Blog Y2 550 - God’s Promises Never Fail"

Image
For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. Hebrews 10:36. We all receive many promises from God. But the promises given by our Heavenly Father are not like those made by humans. The promises of men can change; they are often unstable and unreliable. But our God lives forever, and His promises are unchanging and irrevocable. If He has spoken it, it will be done. What He asks of us is simple: to endure in our faith. He is not a man that He should lie or change His mind. He is a faithful God. His grace and love for us never change, and neither do His promises. In Christ, every promise is “Yes” and “Amen.” Let us take time to remember all the promises He has given us. Even if we may have forgotten them, He never does. He will fulfill every promise, without fail, in His perfect and appointed time. We need to be patient, for His timing is always right and flawless. Let us also strive to do His will faithfully as we wait. James 1:...

"Blog Y2 549 - Safe in His Presence"

Image
Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Psalm 90:1. This profound psalm was written by Moses, the man of God, chosen and used by the Lord to lead the Israelites through the wilderness. He witnessed countless marvelous and miraculous acts of the Almighty and came to a powerful realization: God’s presence is the only true place of peace, safety, and security. That is why Moses longed never to be apart from Him. We, too, can relate. In this chaotic and unpredictable world, there is no safer, more peaceful dwelling than the presence of our God. He is not only our refuge today, but He has been the safe haven for every generation before us, and He will continue to be for those to come. Let us boldly and joyfully confess this eternal truth throughout our lives: The Lord is our refuge, our strong tower, our dwelling rock, and in Him alone we place our trust. Even before the foundations of the earth were laid, God Almighty has been the eternal home for His people. What a priv...

"Blog Y2 548 - Protected by God's Amazing Grace"

Image
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. Psalm 91:9-10. What a wonderful promise God has given us! In a world where chaos and plagues are spreading all around, the fact that we are still breathing and alive today is a clear sign of our Father God’s amazing grace. He has a great purpose for our lives, that’s why He sustains us. Because we have made Him our dwelling place, our secret place, and because we depend on Him alone, we remain under His mighty and protecting hand. Yes, He also looks at our faith and belief. He knows our hearts and is pleased when He sees how fully we depend on Him. Therefore, He will protect us from all evil and every plague; no harm will touch us, for we are the apple of His eye. As we live each day under the shadow of the Most High, no disaster or disease will come near us or our homes. Surely He will keep us safe, for our hope and trust ar...

"Blog Y2 547 - Chosen Before the Foundation"

Image
You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.  John 15:16. Our Father God didn’t choose us just now, He chose us even before we were formed in our mother’s womb. Though we were once lost and ran after worldly pleasures, forgetting the One who created us, our Heavenly Father never forgot us. He had us in His thoughts and still chose us. Not only did He choose us, but He believed in us and appointed us for His royal and divine purpose. We are not worthy of this calling. We have denied Him many times, yet He has continued to love us, remember us, and plant us to bear fruit for His glory. He has given us the authority to use His mighty Name, what a blessing and privilege that is! What can we offer in return for all He has done? Let us take up the cup of salvation, be faithful witnesses, and glorify His name alone. May we be carriers of His holy p...

"Blog Y2 546 - God Fills Every Emptiness"

Image
Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:5. Every human heart has a deep vacuum, an emptiness we all try to fill with worldly pleasures and momentary joy. But nothing in this world can truly satisfy our lives. Only the goodness that comes from God, our loving Father, can bring true fulfillment to our hearts and souls. Our gracious Father promises to forgive all our sins, heal our diseases, and restore our lives. He renews our youth, just as Caleb declared at the age of 85, “I am still as strong today as I was when I was 40.” In the same way, God will strengthen us, renew us, and fill our mouths with joy and our lives with every good thing. When we truly make God our all in all, when our hearts are filled with praise and our souls continually glorify our Father, He takes full control of our lives and pours out His abundant goodness upon us. Isaiah 40:31 says: "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They...

"Blog Y2 545 - Living by His Mercy"

Image
Let Your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; For Your law is my delight. Psalm 119:77.           In this chaotic world, as we navigate the storms of life, we desperately need God’s love, compassion, and mercy. Without His mercy, we cannot even take our next breath. If we desire to be surrounded by His unfailing grace, we must surrender our lives completely to Him.           His tender mercies are most powerfully displayed through Jesus Christ. When the psalmist says, “that I may live,” we can see a deeper truth fulfilled in Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Jesus endured suffering and death so that we might receive eternal life. His mercies were poured out upon us as He bore our sins, granting us the gift of salvation. Without His death, we could not truly live. But through Him, we have not only life on earth but the promise of eternity. This is why His law and His Word are our delight, for they point us to the greatest ...

"Blog Y2 544 - He Lives, So Do I"

Image
He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Matthew 28:6. Hallelujah! Our Lord Jesus Christ is risen from the dead! Throughout history, we’ve heard of many religions and their founders, yet none of them could offer a way to eternal life. Many openly admitted that they did not know the way themselves. But only Jesus Christ declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). He alone boldly said, “I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore!” (Revelation 1:18). We have the undeniable evidence of His resurrection: the open, empty tomb! We are not simply followers of a religion; we are in a divine relationship with a living and loving Savior. Christ is in us, and His resurrection power is at work within us. He breathes life into every dead and hopeless area of our lives. Even now, He intercedes for us in the presence of the Father (Romans 8:34). Because He lives, we have a confirmed and unshakable hope of eternal life. We are not alon...

"Blog Y2 543 - Seeing Through God's Light"

Image
Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law. Psalm 119:18. When our spiritual eyes are opened during our time of meditation, we begin to see the world the right way, through God’s perspective. The eyes are an important part of our body. The Bible says that the eyes are the lamp of the body; if our eyes are full of light, our whole body will be full of light. But if our eyes are dark, our whole body will be filled with darkness. God’s laws are a light to our path. Only when our spiritual eyes are clear can we truly perceive the mysteries and secrets within His Word. Through our physical eyes, we may read the Bible like any other book, but without spiritual vision, we cannot grasp its depth and wonders. So, whenever we sit down to meditate on God’s Word, let us first ask Him to open our spiritual eyes, to help us go deeper and behold the beauty and wonders of our God’s laws. Psalm 119:130 says: “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple....

"Blog Y2 542 - Healed by His Stripes"

Image
Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness, by whose stripes you were healed.  1 Peter 2:24. Yes, we are sinners. No one else can restore our lives. According to the standards of this world, if we make a mistake or commit a crime, we are punished, justice is swift and unforgiving. In those days, one who is cursed deserves to be hanged on a tree; that is the judgment of the world. But see the love of our Heavenly Father, He sent His only Son to take our place. Jesus, our Lord, bore all our sins in His body so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness. Both our spiritual and physical healing flow from His wounds. By His stripes, we are healed. He stretched out His hands to be nailed. He allowed His feet to be pierced. He surrendered Himself to be whipped. His entire body was broken, all because of our sins. When we sin with our hands, let us remember His pierced hands. When our feet lead us into sin, let...

"Blog Y2 541 - Abide in Jesus, Bear Fruit"

Image
Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. John 15:2. God created us to bear fruit for Him. He has blessed and anointed us for this very purpose. Every gift He has given us is meant to help us bear fruit that glorifies His name. Each day, He searches our lives, looking for the fruit that comes from abiding in Him. Our good works and deeds alone cannot satisfy Him. Jesus is the true Vine, and we are the branches. When He walked the earth, He cursed the fig tree because it bore no fruit, though it had leaves. Likewise, He is now waiting for us to bear fruit during this grace period He has given us. There is only one way to bear lasting fruit: we must abide in Him. We cannot produce fruit through our own righteousness or by doing good works apart from Him. Without God, we can do nothing. One thing is absolutely clear: we must cling to Him and remain in Him always. Let us allow Him to cleanse and prun...

"Blog Y2 540 - Jesus Understands, He Delivers"

Image
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15. We, as human beings, all have weaknesses. As the days pass, our bodies naturally lose strength. We face countless trials and temptations in this life; no one is exempt from them. The trials may differ from person to person, but every human being walks through their own difficult path. When we seek help or comfort from the people of this world, we often find their strength and support to be limited. They may try to assist, but their abilities can only go so far. But our God is above all. He came into the world as a man and endured agony far beyond what we face. While on earth, He experienced every form of suffering, even death on the cross. As Scripture says, death is the final enemy we must face. Yet our Lord conquered death and gained victory on the cross. Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. He went through every form of weakness, trial, and ...

"Blog Y2 539 - Make Room for His Glory"

Image
And He said to them, ‘It is written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer,” but you have made it a “den of thieves.  Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them. Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭13,14. Our Lord Jesus often began His statements with the words “It is written,” signifying that what He declared was already firmly established in God’s Word, confirmed, and unchanging. When Jesus walked on the earth and entered the Jerusalem temple, He witnessed people turning the house of God into a marketplace. His righteous anger rose up as He remembered the sacred purpose of the temple. He saw that it had become a place of business, leaving no room for the broken, the lame, the blind, the hurting, and those who were truly in need of healing and restoration. In response, Jesus drove out all those who misused the temple, clearing out the marketplace. And what followed? The very people who had been excluded, the sick, the lame, the children, came into the temple. Jesus...

"Blog Y2 538 - Power in Jesus’ Mighty Name"

Image
If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:14. What a powerful promise from our triune God! The name of Jesus is so mighty that even the gates of hell tremble at its mention. As His children, we are truly privileged to call upon His name, a name above every name. In the world, people may use the names of influential figures to gain access or favor. But in the heavenly realm, there is only one name that carries true authority and eternal weight, “the name of Jesus Christ” . He has graciously given us the right to ask in His name, and when we do so, we can be assured that we are not stepping outside His will. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can approach God’s presence with confidence, knowing that our prayers offered in the name of Jesus, reach His heart. He hears, He responds, and He moves. The impossible becomes possible when we pray in His name. Let us not take this privilege lightly. With reverence and boldness, let us ask, believe, and trust because our Lord Jesus has pr...

"Blog Y2 537 - Rejoicing in Eternal Salvation"

Image
But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.  Psalms 13:5.  As the psalmist declares, his trust is in God’s mercy. While people and worldly authorities may show mercy, we cannot rely on them completely. All earthly things and people will disappear; their promises and mercy are fleeting. His mercies endure forever. When we place our confidence in His unwavering love, we find peace in the midst of uncertainty.  Above all, His salvation is priceless. No one else can redeem us from our sinful life. Our Lord Jesus Christ gave His life as a living sacrifice to redeem us and to offer us the precious gift of salvation. It is by His grace that we are saved, not by our works, so that no one can boast. This salvation not only secures our eternity but transforms our present walk with Him. Nothing in this world can give us true and lasting joy. The pleasures and entertainments of life may provide momentary happiness and satisfaction, but only His salvati...

"Blog Y2 536 - Glorify Him, Inspire Generations"

Image
So we, Your people and the sheep of Your pasture, will give You thanks forever; we will show forth Your praise to all generations. Psalm 79:13. Our Father God has chosen us to be His own treasured possession. Through our parents, He sent us into this world for one ultimate purpose: to glorify His holy name. Our lives are not our own; they are meant to lift up and praise Him alone, in every word, action, and thought. When our time on earth comes to an end, this calling will continue in eternity, where we will praise and glorify our Lord forever in Heaven. What a blessed and privileged people we are to be called His people and the sheep of His pasture. He does not share His glory with anyone who exalts himself, for He alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. We are responsible for preparing the next generation to walk in truth, love, and reverence for God. Our children must be taught not only the words of Scripture but also how to live them out daily, how to worship in spirit and...

"Blog Y2 535 - Love Him with All Heart"

Image
If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15. Love is a divine gift from God. The same God who poured His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit now calls us to love Him more than anything else in this world. He demonstrated His love by sending His only begotten Son as a living sacrifice to save us from our sins. His love is beyond compare; there is no love like it in this world. Now, it is our turn to respond to His love. It’s not enough to simply sing songs or say with our lips that we love God. He expects more from us. When we truly love someone, we desire to please them by listening to their words and following them. In the same way, if we genuinely love God, we will follow Him with all our hearts. Loving Him empowers us to obey His laws and commandments. When we walk in His love, others will clearly see Christ in us through our actions, our words, and even our thoughts. Everything in us begins to reflect Him. Let us ask our Father to fill our hearts with His love so that...

"Blog Y2 534 - Praise Unlocks Divine Blessings"

Image
Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God. Psalm 50:23. In this world, we witness countless acts of sacrifice. Yet our mighty God, who created us in His own image for the very purpose of worshipping and glorifying Him, desires one particular sacrifice above all, “the sacrifice of praise.” When we offer heartfelt praise, it becomes a sweet fragrance before God. This is the right and acceptable offering that pleases our Heavenly Father. There’s a saying many of us have heard: “Try praise in your troubles.” Indeed, when we praise God sincerely, even in the midst of difficulty, He becomes eager to bless us and bring deliverance. God promises that to those who walk in His ways and live uprightly, He will reveal the blessings of salvation. Our Father will show His power to deliver, uplift, and restore. Hebrews 13:15 says: “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our l...
