"Blog Y2 541 - Abide in Jesus, Bear Fruit"

Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. John 15:2.

God created us to bear fruit for Him. He has blessed and anointed us for this very purpose. Every gift He has given us is meant to help us bear fruit that glorifies His name. Each day, He searches our lives, looking for the fruit that comes from abiding in Him.

Our good works and deeds alone cannot satisfy Him. Jesus is the true Vine, and we are the branches. When He walked the earth, He cursed the fig tree because it bore no fruit, though it had leaves. Likewise, He is now waiting for us to bear fruit during this grace period He has given us. There is only one way to bear lasting fruit: we must abide in Him. We cannot produce fruit through our own righteousness or by doing good works apart from Him. Without God, we can do nothing. One thing is absolutely clear: we must cling to Him and remain in Him always.

Let us allow Him to cleanse and prune us continually through His Word. When we yield our lives to Him, our loving Father will help us bear more and more fruit, fruit that brings Him glory. Matthew 3:10 says: "And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."

Reflection: Am I consciously remaining connected to Jesus daily, allowing Him to prune and shape me through His Word, so that my life may produce enduring fruit that honors His name?

என்னில் கனிகொடாதிருக்கிற கொடி எதுவோ அதை அவர் அறுத்துப்போடுகிறார்; கனிகொடுக்கிற கொடி எதுவோ, அது அதிக கனிகளைக் கொடுக்கும்படி, அதைச் சுத்தம்பண்ணுகிறார். யோவான் 15:2.

தேவன் நம்மை அவருக்காக கனி கொடுக்கவே படைத்தார். இந்த நோக்கத்திற்காகவே அவர் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதித்து அபிஷேகம் செய்திருக்கிறார். அவர் நமக்குக் கொடுக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு வரமும், அவருடைய நாமத்தை மகிமைப்படுத்தும் கனிகளைக் கொடுக்க நமக்கு உதவுவதாகும். நம்முடைய வாழ்கையை அவர் ஆராய்ந்து,  அவரில் நிலைத்திருப்பதால் வரும் கனியைத் தேடுகிறார்.

நமது நற்கிரியைகளும் செயல்களும் மட்டுமே அவரை திருப்திப்படுத்த முடியாது. இயேசுவே உண்மையான திராட்சச்செடி, நாம் கொடிகள். அவர் பூமியில் நடந்தபோது, அத்தி மரத்தை சபித்தார், ஏனென்றால் அது இலைகள் இருந்தபோதிலும் கனி கொடுக்கவில்லை. அதேபோல், அவர் நமக்குக் கொடுத்த இந்த கிருபையின் காலத்தில் நாம் கனி கொடுக்க அவர் இப்போது காத்திருக்கிறார். அழியாத கனிகளைக் கொடுக்க ஒரே ஒரு வழி மட்டுமே உள்ளது: நாம் அவரில் நிலைத்திருக்க வேண்டும். நம்முடைய சொந்த நீதியின் மூலமோ அல்லது அவரைத் தவிர்த்து நல்ல செயல்களைச் செய்வதன் மூலமோ நாம் கனிகளைக் கொடுக்க முடியாது. தேவன் இல்லாமல், நம்மால் எதுவும் செய்ய முடியாது. ஒன்று முற்றிலும் தெளிவாக உள்ளது: நாம் அவரைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு எப்போதும் அவரில் நிலைத்திருக்க வேண்டும்.

அவருடைய வார்த்தையால் அவர் நம்மை சுத்திகரித்து, தேவை இல்லாதவற்றை அகற்றி சுத்தம் செய்ய அனுமதிப்போம். நாம் நம் வாழ்க்கையை அவருக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது, நம்மை  நேசிக்கும் பரம பிதா அவருக்கு மகிமையைக் கொண்டுவரும் கனிகளை மேலும் மேலும் கொடுக்க நமக்கு உதவுவார். மத்தேயு 3:10 சொல்லுகிறது: “இப்பொழுதே கோடரியானது மரங்களின் வேர் அருகே வைத்திருக்கிறது; ஆகையால், நல்ல கனிகொடாத மரமெல்லாம் வெட்டுண்டு அக்கினியிலே போடப்படும்.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் தினமும் இயேசுவுடன் உணர்வுபூர்வமாக இணைந்திருந்து, அவருடைய வார்த்தையின் மூலம் என்னை சுத்திகரிக்கவும், வடிவமைக்கவும் அனுமதித்து, இதனால் என் வாழ்க்கை அவருடைய நாமத்தைக் கனப்படுத்தி,  நிரந்தரமாக கனிகளைக் கொடுக்கிறதா?
