"Blog Y2 453 - Fear of God, Abundant Blessings"

But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; And you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves. Malachi 4:2.

       We face many fears in this world, and all of them lead to distraction. However, the fear of the Lord is entirely different. It is not the kind of fear that brings anxiety or dread—it is born out of love. When we fear the Lord, we deeply desire not to grieve our loving, almighty Father. This fear moves us to flee from sin, as sin breaks the divine relationship we have with Him.  

       As with many promises of God, this one also comes with a condition: when we walk in the fear of the Lord, His righteousness will shine on us like the brightness of the sun. This signifies abundant victory and overflowing blessings. Just as the sun’s rays bring warmth and life, His healing will envelop us completely. We will experience renewal, and like calves leaping with joy in open pastures, we will grow, thrive, and rejoice in His goodness. 

      Let us embrace the fear of the Lord, which leads to life, restoration, and an unbroken relationship with Him. Psalm 84:11 says: “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

Reflection: Am I living in the fear of the Lord, fleeing from sin and striving to honor Him, so that His righteousness and blessings may shine on me?

ஆனாலும் என் நாமத்துக்குப் பயந்திருக்கிற உங்கள்மேல் நீதியின் சூரியன் உதிக்கும்; அதின் செட்டைகளின்கீழ் ஆரோக்கியம் இருக்கும்; நீங்கள் வெளியே புறப்பட்டுப்போய், கொழுத்த கன்றுகளைப்போல வளருவீர்கள். மல்கியா 4:2.

       இந்த உலகில் நாம் பல அச்சங்களை எதிர்கொள்கிறோம், அவை அனைத்தும் மனக்குழப்பத்தை ஏற்படுத்துகின்றன. ஆனால், கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் என்பது முற்றிலும் வேறுபட்டது. இது கவலை அல்லது திகிலைக் கொண்டுவரும் வகையான பயம் அல்ல - அது அன்பிலிருந்து உருவாகுகிறது. நாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும்போது, நம்முடைய அன்பான, சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள பிதாவை துக்கப்படுத்தாமல் இருக்க மிகவும் விரும்புகிறோம். பாவம் அவருடன் நாம் வைத்திருக்கும் தெய்வீக உறவை முறிப்பதால், இந்த பயம் பாவத்திலிருந்து விலகி ஓட நம்மைத் தூண்டுகிறது. 

       தேவனுடைய பல வாக்குத்தத்தங் களைப் போலவே, இதுவும் ஒரு நிபந்தனையுடன் வருகிறது: நாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கும்போது, அவருடைய நீதி, சூரியனின் பிரகாசத்தைப் போல நம்மீது பிரகாசிக்கும். இது மிகுந்த வெற்றியையும் நிரம்பி வழியும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும் குறிக்கிறது. சூரியனின் கதிர்கள் வெப்பத்தையும் உயிரையும் கொண்டு வருவதைப் போலவே, தெய்வீக சுகம் நம்மை முழுமையாக மூடும். நாம் புதுப்பிக்கப்பட்டு, புல்வெளியில் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் துள்ளும் கன்றுகளைப் போல, நாம் வளர்ந்து செழிப்போம். 

       அவருடைய நன்மையில் களிகூருவோம். ஜீவனுக்கும், மறுவாழ்வுக்கும், தேவனுடன் நெருங்கிய உறவுக்கும் வழிநடத்தும் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலைத் தழுவுவோம். சங்கீதம் 84:11 சொல்லுகிறது: “தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சூரியனும் கேடகமுமானவர்; கர்த்தர் கிருபையையும் மகிமையையும் அருளுவார்; உத்தமமாய் நடக்கிறவர்களுக்கு நன்மையை வழங்காதிரார்.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து வாழ்ந்து, பாவத்தினின்று ஓடி, அவருடைய நீதியும் ஆசீர்வாதமும் என்மேல் பிரகாசிக்கும்படியாக அவரை மகிமைப்படுத்த முயற்சிக்கிறேனா?
