"Blog Y2 466 - Walk in Obedience, Receive Blessings"

Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea. Isaiah 48:18.

        Today’s verse reminds us that it’s not enough to simply hear God’s commandments; we must also walk in them. If we truly love Him, our obedience will flow naturally from that love. His commandments are not burdensome, and what’s more, He equips and strengthens us to follow them. God’s promises often come with conditions. When we obey His commands, He promises us peace like a flowing river—constant, deep, and refreshing. 

           He also assures us of righteousness, symbolizing victory, success, and abundant blessings, like the unceasing waves crashing upon the seashore. This righteousness will overflow in our lives, bringing abundant joy and fruitfulness. Let us commit to walk in His ways, trusting that His commands lead us to a life filled with His peace and His abundant righteousness! Psalm 119:165 says: ”Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble."

Reflection: Am I walking in God’s commandments, allowing my love for Him to naturally lead to obedience, trusting that His peace and righteousness will overflow in my life?

ஆ, என் கற்பனைகளைக் கவனித்தாயானால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது உன் சமாதானம் நதியைப்போலும், உன் நீதி சமுத்திரத்தின் அலைகளைப்போலும் இருக்கும். ஏசாயா 48:18

        தேவனுடைய கட்டளைகளை வெறுமனே கேட்பது மட்டும் போதாது - நாமும் அவைகளின்படி நடக்க வேண்டும் என்பதை இன்றைய வசனம் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. நாம் உண்மையில் அவரை நேசித்தால், நமது கீழ்ப்படிதல் இயல்பாகவே அந்த அன்பிலிருந்து ஊற்றெடுக்கும். அவருடைய கட்டளைகள் பாரமானவை அல்ல, மேலும் என்னவென்றால், அவற்றைப் பின்பற்ற அவர் நம்மை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துகிறார், பலப்படுத்துகிறார். தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் பெரும்பாலும் நிபந்தனைகளுடன் வருகின்றன. நாம் அவருடைய கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தால், ஓடும் நதியைப் போல நிலையான, ஆழமான, புத்துணர்ச்சியூட்டும் சமாதானத்தை அவர் நமக்கு வாக்களிக்கிறார். 

        அவர் உறுதியளிக்கும் நீதியானது வெற்றிகாரமான செயல்கள் மற்றும் ஏராளமான ஆசீர்வாதங்களை நமக்கு குறிப்பிடுகிறது. கடற்கரையில் இடைவிடாத அலைகள் மோதுவது போல, இந்த நீதி நம் வாழ்வில் நிரம்பி வழியும், மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சியையும் பலனையும் தரும். அவருடைய கட்டளைகள் அவருடைய சமாதானத்தாலும் அவருடைய நிறைவான நீதியாலும் நிறைந்த வாழ்க்கைக்கு நம்மை வழிநடத்துகின்றன என்று நம்பி, அவருடைய வழிகளில் நடக்க ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போமாக. சங்கீதம் 119:165 சொல்லுகிறது: “உம்முடைய வேதத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு மிகுந்த சமாதானமுண்டு; அவர்களுக்கு இடறலில்லை.”

சிந்திக்க: தேவன் மீதான என் அன்பு இயல்பாகவே கீழ்ப்படிதலுக்கு வழிநடத்த அனுமதித்து, அவருடைய சமாதானமும் நீதியும் என் வாழ்க்கையில் நிரம்பி வழிய  நான் தேவனுடைய கட்டளைகளில் நடக்கிறேனா?
