"Blog Y2 469 - Faithful Living Brings God's Blessings"

The labor of the righteous leads to life, The wages of the wicked to sin. Proverbs 10:16.

        The righteous are those deemed divine in God’s sight, walking in His ways and reflecting His character. They think and act according to God’s guidance, staying on the path of righteousness. Though their labor may be strenuous and their earnings modest, they enjoy the fullness of God’s blessings.

        Consider the example of the prophet’s widow during Elisha’s time. Though she had only a small portion of oil, she obeyed the prophet’s instructions and shared her meager supply with him. Miraculously, God provided for her needs, and the oil did not run dry until the famine ended. This illustrates a powerful truth: the hard work and faithfulness of the righteous bring life—not only to themselves but to others as well. Their obedience and trust in God allow them to become vessels of His blessings, even in scarcity.

        In contrast, the profits of the wicked are often driven by selfish desires and ungodly pursuits. Their wealth is used according to their own inclinations, leading them deeper into sin. It neither glorifies God nor brings life to others. Ultimately, their actions invite divine judgment and punishment.

        May the Lord help us to live righteously, working diligently in ways that glorify Him. Let us trust in His provision, knowing that His blessings bring true riches without sorrow (Proverbs 10:22). As we labor faithfully, may we become channels of His blessings, extending His grace and provision to those in need. Romans 6:23 says: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Reflection: Am I walking in God’s ways, reflecting His character, and trusting Him to use me as a vessel of His blessings, even in times of scarcity?

நீதிமானுடைய பிரயாசம் ஜீவனையும், துன்மார்க்கனுடைய விளைவோ பாவத்தையும் பிறப்பிக்கும். நீதிமொழிகள் 10:16.

        நீதிமான்கள் தேவனுடைய பார்வையில் தெய்வீகமானவர்களாகக் கருதப்படுகிறவர்கள், அவருடைய வழிகளில் நடந்து, அவருடைய குணாதிசயத்தைப் பிரதிபலிக்கிறார்கள். அவர்கள் தேவனின் வழிகாட்டுதலின்படி சிந்தித்து, நீதியின் பாதையில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். அவர்களுடைய உழைப்பு கடினமானதாயும், அவர்களுடைய சம்பாத்தியம் சுமாரானதாகவும் இருந்தாலும், தேவனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களின் நிறைவை அவர்கள் அனுபவித்து மகிழ்கிறார்கள்.

        எலிசாவின் காலத்தில் தீர்க்கதரிசியின் விதவையின் உதாரணத்தைக் கவனியுங்கள். அவளிடம் கொஞ்சம்தான் எண்ணெய் இருந்தபோதிலும், தீர்க்கதரிசியின் கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தாள், தனக்குக் கிடைத்த சொற்ப எண்ணெயையும் அவருடன் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டாள். அற்புதமாக, அவளுடைய தேவைகளைக் கடவுள் கவனித்துக்கொண்டார், பஞ்சம் முடியும்வரை எண்ணெய் வற்றவில்லை. இது ஒரு சக்திவாய்ந்த உண்மையை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது: நீதிமான்களின் கடின உழைப்பும் விசுவாசமும் அவர்களுக்கும், மற்றவர்களுக்கும் வாழ்வைத் தருகிறது. தேவன் மீதான அவர்களின் கீழ்ப்படிதலும் நம்பிக்கையும் பற்றாக்குறையில் கூட அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களின் பாத்திரங்களாக மாற்றுகிறது.

        இதற்கு நேர்மாறாக, பொல்லாதவர்களின் ஆதாயங்கள் பெரும்பாலும் சுயநல ஆசைகளாலும் தேவபக்தியற்ற செயல்களாலும் தூண்டப்படுகின்றன. அவர்களின் செல்வம் அவர்களின் சொந்த விருப்பங்களுக்கு ஏற்ப பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது, இது அவர்களை மேலும் பாவத்தில் வழிநடத்துகிறது. அது தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்துவதும் இல்லை, மற்றவர்களுடைய தேவையை  சந்திப்பதும் இல்லை. இறுதியில், அவர்களின் செயல்கள் தெய்வீக தீர்ப்பையும் தண்டனையையும் வரவழைக்கின்றன.

        நாம் நீதியாய் வாழ்ந்து, அவரை மகிமைப்படுத்தும் வழிகளில் விடாமுயற்சியுடன் செயல்பட கர்த்தர் நமக்கு உதவுவாராக. கர்த்தரின் ஆசீர்வாதமே ஐசுவரியத்தைத் தரும்; அதனோடே அவர் வேதனையைக் கூட்டார்(நீதிமொழிகள் 10:22)என்பதை அறிந்து, அவருடைய வழிநடத்துதலில் நம்பிக்கை வைப்போம். நாம் விசுவாசத்துடன் உழைக்கும்போது, தேவனின் ஆசீர்வாதங்களைத் தகுதியற்றவர்களுக்குப் பகிரும் பாத்திரங்களாக மாறுவோம். ரோமர் 6:23 சொல்லுகிறது: “பாவத்தின் சம்பளம் மரணம்; தேவனுடைய கிருபைவரமோ நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினால் உண்டான நித்தியஜீவன்.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் தேவனுடைய வழிகளில் நடந்து, அவருடைய குணாதிசயத்தை பிரதிபலித்து, குறைவுபடும் காலங்களில் கூட, அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களை  மற்றவர்களுக்குப் பகிரும் பாத்திரமாக என்னைப் பயன்படுத்த அவரை நம்புகிறேனா?
