"Blog Y2 471 - Living for God’s Eternal Kingdom"

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. John‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬.   

         God’s love for us is beyond comparison—it is greater than anything this world can offer. Because He loves us so deeply, He desires for us to be with Him forever. In His love, He promises us eternal life in His kingdom. To help us understand how to enter His kingdom, Jesus Christ has given us a clear path. He came into this world to show us, both through His teachings and His life, what it means to be born of water and the Spirit.

          Today’s verse emphasizes the importance of two key elements for entering God’s kingdom: Being born of water refers to baptism, which symbolizes cleansing from sin and outward obedience to God. Being born of the Spirit is the inward transformation brought about by the Holy Spirit. It is a spiritual rebirth where our hearts and lives are renewed to align with God’s will.

          We are called to live continuously in a Spirit-filled life. This means allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us daily, transforming our character, decisions, and actions to reflect God’s glory. A Spirit-filled life is one of prayer, obedience, and intimacy with God, enabling us to overcome sin and grow in holiness.

          Ultimately, this verse reminds us that salvation is not only about being saved but also about abiding in Christ, walking with Him daily, and being transformed into His likeness. It is through this ongoing relationship with Jesus that we are prepared for His eternal kingdom, where we will dwell with Him forever. Titus 3:5 says: “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.”

Reflection: Am I living a Spirit-filled life, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide me daily, transforming my character to align with God’s will and preparing me for His eternal kingdom?

இயேசு பிரதியுத்தரமாக: ஒருவன் ஜலத்தினாலும் ஆவியினாலும் பிறவாவிட்டால் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கமாட்டான் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். யோவான் 3:5.    

           நம்மீது தேவன் வைத்திருக்கும் அன்பு ஒப்பிட முடியாதது—இந்த உலகம் அளிக்கக்கூடிய எதையும் விட அது பெரியது. அவர் நம்மை மிகவும் அதிகமாக நேசிப்பதால், நாம் அவருடன் என்றென்றும் இருக்க விரும்புகிறார். அவரது அன்பினால், அவர் நமக்கு அவருடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் நித்திய ஜீவனை வாக்களிக்கிறார். அவருடைய ராஜ்யத்திற்கு எவ்வாறு செல்வது என்பதைப் புரிந்துகொள்ள நமக்கு உதவ, இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நமக்கு ஒரு தெளிவான பாதையைக் கொடுத்துள்ளார். ஜலத்தினாலும் ஆவியினாலும் பிறப்பது என்றால் என்ன என்பதை அவருடைய போதனைகள் மற்றும் அவரது வாழ்க்கை மூலமாக நமக்குக் காட்ட அவர் இந்த உலகத்திற்கு வந்தார்.

          இன்றைய வசனம் தேவனின் ராஜ்யத்திற்கு செல்ல இரண்டு முக்கியமான அம்சங்களின் அவசியத்தை வலியுறுத்துகிறது: தண்ணீரால் பிறப்பது ஞானஸ்நானத்தைக் குறிக்கிறது, இது பாவத்திலிருந்து சுத்தப்படுத்தப் படுவதையும் தேவனுக்கு வெளிப்புறமாக கீழ்ப்படிவதையும் குறிக்கிறது. ஆவியினால் பிறப்பது என்பது பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரால் கொண்டுவரப்பட்ட உள்ளான மாற்றமாகும். இது ஒரு ஆன்மீக மறுபிறப்பு, அபோது தேவ சித்தத்துடன் ஒத்துப்போக நம் இதயங்களும் வாழ்க்கையும் புதுப்பிக்கப்படுகின்றன.

          ஆவியால் நிறைந்த வாழ்வில் தொடர்ந்து வாழ நாம் அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். இதன் பொருள் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் தினமும் நம்மை வழிநடத்த அனுமதிப்பதும், தேவனுடைய மகிமையை பிரதிபலிக்கும் வகையில் நமது குணாதிசயங்கள், முடிவுகள் மற்றும் செயல்களை மாற்றுவதுமாகும். ஆவியால் நிரப்பப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கை என்பது ஜெபம், கீழ்ப்படிதல் மற்றும் தேவனுடனான நெருக்கம் ஆகியவற்றில் ஒன்றாகும், இது பாவத்தை மேற்கொள்ளவும் பரிசுத்தத்தில் வளரவும் நமக்கு உதவுகிறது.

          இறுதியில், இரட்சிப்பு என்பது இரட்சிக்கப்படுவது மட்டுமல்ல, கிறிஸ்துவில் நிலைத்திருப்பதும், தினமும் அவருடன் நடப்பதும், அவருடைய சாயலாக மாற்றப்படுவதும் என்பதை இந்த வசனம் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. இயேசுவுடனான இந்த தொடர்ச்சியான உறவின் மூலமாகவே நாம் அவருடைய நித்திய ராஜ்யத்திற்கு ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கிறோம், அங்கு நாம் அவருடன் என்றென்றும் வாழ்வோம். தீத்து 3:5 சொல்லுகிறது: “நாம் செய்த நீதியின் கிரியைகளினிமித்தம் அவர் நம்மை இரட்சியாமல், தமது இரக்கத்தின்படியே, மறுஜென்ம முழுக்கினாலும், பரிசுத்த ஆவியினுடைய புதிதாக்குதலினாலும் நம்மை இரட்சித்தார்.” 

சிந்தனைக்கு: நான் ஆவியால் நிரம்பிய வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்ந்து, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் தினமும் என்னை வழிநடத்த அனுமதித்து, தேவனுடைய சித்தத்திற்கு ஏற்ப என் பண்புகளை மாற்றி, அவருடைய நித்திய ராஜ்யத்திற்குத் என்னை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துகிறேனா?
