"Blog Y2 476 - Eternal Rewards for Faithfulness"

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:10.

        The blessings of God are the greatest gifts a person can receive—far beyond anything the world can offer. When our Heavenly Father bestows His blessings, they are of eternal value, surpassing all earthly riches. Among these, one of the highest honors is to be persecuted for His sake. Such persecution does not arise from anything ordinary but flows from a deep love and intimate relationship with God.

        The reward for enduring suffering for Christ is incomparable. Even if a man were to gain the entire world yet lose his soul, what a tragic loss that would be! But our God, in His faithfulness, promises eternal life and His glorious Kingdom to those who stand firm despite trials and opposition for His name. If we face rejection, hardship, or persecution because we are His children, we can take heart—our Father guarantees the everlasting Kingdom to us.

        Therefore, let us fix our hearts and eyes on God, holding fast to His promises, and looking forward to His eternal Kingdom with unwavering faith. 2 Timothy 3:12 says: “Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.”

Reflection: Am I willing to endure persecution for Christ, holding fast to His promises and trusting in the eternal rewards of His kingdom?

நீதியினிமித்தம் துன்பப்படுகிறவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; பரலோகராஜ்யம் அவர்களுடையது. மத்தேயு 5:10.

            இந்த உலகம் வழங்கும் எந்தவொரு பரிசையும் மிஞ்சி, மனிதன் பெறக்கூடிய மிகச் சிறந்த பரிசுகள தேவனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களே. நமது பரம பிதா அவரது ஆசீர்வாதங்களை அளிக்கும்போது, அவை பூமிக்குரிய எல்லா செல்வங்களையும் விட நித்திய மதிப்புள்ளவை. இவற்றில் மிக உயர்ந்த கௌரவங்களில் ஒன்று அவருக்காக துன்பப்படுவது. இப்படிப்பட்ட துன்பங்கள்  சாதாரணமான எதிலிருந்தும் எழவில்லை, ஆனால் தேவனுடனான ஆழமான அன்பு மற்றும் நெருக்கமான உறவிலிருந்து பாய்கிறது.

        கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக பாடுகளைச் சகிப்பதற்கான வெகுமதி ஒப்பிட முடியாதது. ஒரு மனிதன் உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயப்படுத்திக் கொண்டாலும், தன் ஆத்துமாவை இழந்தால், அது எவ்வளவு துயரமான இழப்பு! ஆனால் நமது தேவன், தம்முடைய உண்மையில், அவருடைய நாமத்திற்காக சோதனைகளையும் எதிர்ப்புகளையும் மீறி உறுதியாக நிற்பவர்களுக்கு நித்திய ஜீவனையும் தம்முடைய மகிமையான ராஜ்யத்தையும் வாக்குறுதி அளிக்கிறார். நாம் அவருடைய பிள்ளைகளாக இருப்பதால் ஒதுக்கப்பட்டு, கஷ்டம் அல்லது துன்புறுத்தலை எதிர்கொண்டால், நாம் தைரியமாக இருக்கலாம் - நம்முடைய பிதா நமக்கு நித்திய ராஜ்யத்தை உத்தரவாதம் செய்கிறார்.

        ஆகையால், நாம் நமது இருதயங்களையும் கண்களையும் தேவனில் ஊன்ற வைப்போமாக, அவருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களை உறுதியாகப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு, அவருடைய நித்திய ராஜ்யத்தை அசைக்க முடியாத விசுவாசத்துடன் எதிர்நோக்குவோம். 2 தீமோத்தேயு 3:12 சொல்லுகிறது: “அன்றியும் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் தேவபக்தியாய் நடக்க மனதாயிருக்கிற யாவரும் துன்பப்படுவார்கள்.”

சிந்திக்க: அவருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களை உறுதியாய்ப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு, அவருடைய நித்திய ராஜ்யத்தில் நம்பிக்கை வைத்து, கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக துன்பப்படுதலைச் சகிக்க நான் ஆயத்தமாயிருக்கிறேனா?
