"Blog Y2 478 - Salvation: A Priceless Gift"

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10.

        Salvation is the greatest and most precious gift from God. It is not something we can earn through our own efforts, nor is it given without cost. A price had to be paid—a price beyond human ability. Blood had to be shed. That is why God, in His infinite love, sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. He shed His blood on the cross, died, was buried, and on the third day, He rose again. Now, He is seated on His throne, continually interceding for us.

          How priceless and precious is our salvation! We must never take it for granted or let go of it, no matter the circumstances. Until our last breath, we must hold firm to our faith. That is why today’s scripture reminds us that we believe in our hearts that God has made us righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ. Yet, belief alone is not enough; we must also confess it with our mouths.

        Our confession is powerful, for the Word declares that “life and death are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21). Every day, every moment, we must proclaim our salvation, declare the name of Jesus Christ, and plead the power of His blood over our lives. Yes, salvation belongs to the Lord!  1 John 4:15 says: "Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God."

Reflection: Am I truly appreciating the priceless gift of salvation, holding fast to my faith, and boldly confessing the power of Jesus’ sacrifice in my life?

நீதியுண்டாக இருதயத்திலே விசுவாசிக்கப்படும், இரட்சிப்புண்டாக வாயினாலே அறிக்கைபண்ணப்படும். ரோமர் 10:10.

        இரட்சிப்பு என்பது தேவனிடமிருந்து வந்த மிகப் பெரிய மற்றும் மிகவும் விலையேறப்பெற்ற பரிசு. இது நம் சொந்த முயற்சியால் நாம் சம்பாதிக்கக்கூடிய ஒன்றல்ல, அல்லது செலவில்லாமல் கொடுக்கப்படுவதில்லை. ஒரு விலை கொடுக்க வேண்டியிருந்தது - மனித சக்திக்கு அப்பாற்பட்ட விலை. ரத்தம் சிந்த வேண்டியிருந்தது. அதனால்தான் தேவன் தம்முடைய எல்லையற்ற அன்பினால் தம்முடைய ஒரேபேறான குமாரனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை அனுப்பினார். அவர் சிலுவையில் இரத்தம் சிந்தினார், மரித்தார், அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டார், மூன்றாம் நாள் அவர் உயிர்த்தெழுந்தார். இப்போது, அவர் பரலோகத்தில் சிங்காசனத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிறார், தொடர்ந்து நமக்காக பரிந்து பேசுகிறார்.

           நமது இரட்சிப்பு எவ்வளவு விலைமதிப்பற்ற அருமையானது! எந்த சூழ்நிலையிலும் நாம் அதை சாதாரணமாக விட்டுவிடக் கூடாது. நம்முடைய கடைசி மூச்சு வரை, நாம் நம்முடைய விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியாக இருக்க வேண்டும். அதனால்தான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தினாலே தேவன் நம்மை நீதிமான்களாக்கினார் என்று நம்முடைய இருதயங்களில் விசுவாசிக்கிறோம் என்பதை இன்றைய வசனம் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. ஆனாலும், விசுவாசிப்பது மாத்திரமல்ல, அதை நாம் வாயால் அறிக்கையிடவும் வேண்டும்.

        மரணமும் ஜீவனும் நாவின் அதிகாரத்திலிருக்கும் (நீதிமொழிகள் 18:21); என்று வார்த்தை அறிவிக்கிறபடியால், நம்முடைய அறிக்கை வல்லமையுள்ளது.. ஒவ்வொரு நாளும், ஒவ்வொரு கணமும், நமது இரட்சிப்பை நாம் பறைசாற்ற வேண்டும். இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தை அறிவித்து, நமது வாழ்கையில் அவருடைய இரத்தத்தின் வல்லமைக்காக ஜெபிக்க வேண்டும். ஆம், இரட்சிப்பு கர்த்தருக்கே உரியது. 1 யோவான் 4:15 சொல்லுகிறது: “இயேசுவானவர் தேவனுடைய குமாரனென்று அறிக்கைபண்ணுகிறவன் எவனோ அவனில் தேவன் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார், அவனும் தேவனில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறான்.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் உண்மையாகவே இரட்சிப்பு எனும் மதிப்புமிக்க ஈவை பாராட்டி, என் விசுவாசத்தை உறுதியாகப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு, என் வாழ்க்கையில் இயேசுவின் தியாகத்தின் வல்லமையை தைரியமாக அறிக்கையிடுகிறேனா?
