"Blog Y2 483 - Empowered to Bring Freedom"

And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19.

        What a marvelous promise Jesus has given to Simon Peter, and it is also for God’s children! From the beginning, He entrusted humankind with authority over all His creation. However, as we see throughout the Old Testament, God’s people often failed to walk in that authority. Before Christ’s coming, the Holy Spirit would descend upon individuals, empowering them for a time to perform mighty works, but then He would depart.

        Now, through Christ, we are blessed and privileged people. The Holy Spirit no longer comes and goes; He dwells within us permanently, equipping us with power and authority. At any moment, He can work through us for His glory. God has given us the authority to bind and lose by restraining the works of darkness and setting free those held in captivity.

        We are not kept in this world for our own purposes but to be vessels through whom God’s power flows. This authority is not meant to be used merely for personal gain but to bless and uplift others. Yet, many of us fail to recognize or exercise the authority entrusted to us. Matthew 18:18 says: “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Reflection: Am I fully embracing the authority given to me through Christ, allowing the Holy Spirit to work through me to bring salvation and light to those around me?

பரலோகராஜ்யத்தின் திறவுகோல்களை நான் உனக்குத் தருவேன்; பூலோகத்திலே நீ கட்டுகிறது எதுவோ அது பரலோகத்திலும் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கும், பூலோகத்திலே நீ கட்டவிழ்ப்பது எதுவோ அது பரலோகத்திலும் கட்டவிழ்க்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் என்றார். மத்தேயு 16:19.

            சீமோன் பேதுருவுக்கு எப்பேர்ப்பட்ட மகத்தான வாக்குறுதியை இயேசு கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்! அது தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் பொருந்தும். ஆதியிலிருந்தே, தேவன்  தம்முடைய படைப்புகள் அனைத்தின் மீதும் மனிதனுக்கு அதிகாரத்தை ஒப்படைத்தார். இருப்பினும், பழைய ஏற்பாடு முழுவதும் நாம் பார்க்கிறபடி, தேவனுடைய ஜனங்கள் பெரும்பாலும் அந்த அதிகாரத்தில் நடக்கத் தவறிவிட்டார்கள். கிறிஸ்துவின் வருகைக்கு முன்பு, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் தனிநபர்கள் மீது இறங்கி, வல்லமையான செயல்களைச் செய்ய ஒரு காலத்திற்கு அவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரம் அளிப்பார், ஆனால் பின்னர் அவர்களைவிட்டு விலகிவிடுவார்..

            இப்போது, கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலம், நாம் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்ட மற்றும் சிலாக்கியம் பெற்ற மக்கள். பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் இனி வந்து செல்வதில்லை; அவர் நமக்குள் நிரந்தரமாக வாசம் செய்கிறார், வல்லமையுடனும் அதிகாரத்துடனும் நம்மை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துகிறார். எந்த நேரத்திலும், அவர் தனது மகிமைக்காக நம்மூலம் கிரியை செய்ய முடியும். இருளின் கிரியைகளைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தி, சிறையிருப்பில் இருப்பவர்களை விடுவிக்கும் அதிகாரத்தை தேவன் நமக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்.

            நம்முடைய சொந்த நோக்கங்களுக்காக நாம் இந்த உலகத்தில் வைக்கப்படவில்லை, ஆனால் தேவனுடைய வல்லமை வெளிப்படுத்தும் பாத்திரங்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும். இந்த அதிகாரம் வெறுமனே சொந்த ஆதாயத்திற்காக பயன்படுத்தப்படுவதற்காக அல்ல, ஆனால் மற்றவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்து மேம்படுத்துவதற்காகவே பயன்படுத்தவேண்டும். ஆனால், நம்மில் பலர் தேவன் நமக்கு அளித்த அதிகாரத்தை உணரவும், அதை பயன்படுத்தவும் தவறிவிடுகிறோம். மத்தேயு 18:18 சொல்லுகிறது: “பூலோகத்திலே நீங்கள் எவைகளைக் கட்டுவீர்களோ அவைகள் பரலோகத்திலும் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கும்; பூலோகத்திலே நீங்கள் எவைகளைக் கட்டவிழ்ப்பீர்களோ அவைகள் பரலோகத்திலும் கட்டவிழ்க்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் என்று, மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.”

சிந்திக்க: கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலம் எனக்கு வழங்கப்பட்ட அதிகாரத்தை நான் முழுமையாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறேனா, என்னைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவர்களுக்கு இரட்சிப்பையும் வெளிச்சத்தையும் கொண்டு வர பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் என் மூலம் செயல்பட அனுமதிக்கிறேனா?
