"Blog Y2 488 - Sing in Faith and Gratitude"

I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me. Psalm 13:6.

        In part 1 of today’s verse, King David says, “I will sing to the Lord.” Our loving Father God is the only one to be praised and honored. He does not say, I feel like singing, but rather, I will sing. It reminds us that worship is not just an emotional response; it is an act of faith and obedience. The very fact that we are still breathing and living is due to His pure grace. Without Him, we can’t take a single step in our lives. He is with us, helping us with each and every move we make.

        In part 2, King David says, "Because He Has Dealt Bountifully with me." We lack the words to express our gratitude to Him fully. The word bountifully speaks of abundance, generosity, and blessing. God’s blessings are not always material; they are often seen in His faithfulness, mercy, and presence in our lives. He is the one who saw us from our mother’s womb, chose us, and called us. When we take time to reflect on how He has provided, protected and sustained us, we realize that we are truly blessed. Psalm 103:2 says: "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits." 

Reflection: Am I choosing to sing to the Lord in faith and obedience, and am I recognizing the many ways He has dealt bountifully with me?

கர்த்தர் எனக்கு நன்மைசெய்தபடியால் அவரைப் பாடுவேன். சங்கீதம் 13:6.

இன்றைய வசனத்தின் முதல் பகுதியில், தாவீது ராஜா கூறுகிறார், "கர்த்தரைப் பாடுவேன்." நம்முடைய அன்பான பிதாவாகிய தேவன் ஒருவரே புகழப்படவும் கனப்படுத்தப்படவும் வேண்டியவர். நான் பாட வேண்டும் என்று நினைக்கிறேன் என்று அவர் சொல்லவில்லை, மாறாக, நான் பாடுவேன் என்று சொல்லுகிறார். ஆராதனை என்பது வெறும் உணர்ச்சிபூர்வமான செய்கை அல்ல என்பதை இது நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது; இது விசுவாசம் மற்றும் கீழ்ப்படிதலின் செயல். நாம் இன்னும் சுவாசித்து வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருப்பது அவருடைய சுத்த கிருபையின் காரணமாகும். அவர் இல்லாமல், நாம் நம் வாழ்க்கையில் ஒரு அடி கூட எடுத்து வைக்க முடியாது. அவர் நம்மோடு இருக்கிறார், நாம் செய்யும் ஒவ்வொரு அசைவிலும் நமக்கு உதவுகிறார்.

இரண்டாம் பாகத்தில், தாவீது ராஜா கூறுகிறார், "கர்த்தர் எனக்கு நன்மைசெய்தபடியால்." கர்த்தருக்கு நமது நன்றியை முழுமையாக வெளிப்படுத்த நம்மிடம் வார்த்தைகள் இல்லை. இந்த பகுதி, தாராள மனப்பான்மை மற்றும் ஆசீர்வாதம் ஆகியவற்றைப் பற்றி ஏராளமாக பேசுகிறது. தேவனின் ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் பொருள் மட்டுமல்ல; அவை பெரும்பாலும் அவருடைய உண்மையிலும், இரக்கத்திலும், நம் வாழ்வில் நம்மோடு இருப்பதிலும் காணப்படுகின்றன. அவர்தான் நம் தாயின் வயிற்றில் இருந்தே நம்மைப் பார்த்து, தெரிந்துகொண்டு, அழைத்தவர். அவர் நமக்கு  எவ்வாறு கொடுத்தார், பாதுகாத்தார், ஆதரித்தார் என்பதைப் பற்றி சிந்திக்க நேரம் எடுக்கும்போது, நாம் உண்மையிலேயே ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் என்பதை உணர்கிறோம். சங்கீதம் 103:2 கூறுகிறது: "என் ஆத்துமாவே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரி; அவர் செய்த சகல உபகாரங்களையும் மறவாதே." 

சிந்திக்க: விசுவாசத்தோடும் கீழ்ப்படிதலோடும் கர்த்தரைப் பாட நான் முடிவெடுத்து அவர் என்னிடம் பல வழிகளில்  தாராளமாக கொடுத்து நடந்துகொண்டவிதத்தை  நான் உணர்கிறேனா?
