"Blog Y2 496 - God’s Mercy Never Fails"

God be merciful to us and bless us, And cause His face to shine upon us. Psalm67:1. 

        Our God is so merciful and gracious to us. The psalmist often pleads for God to reveal His loving kindness, and in our times of trouble, we, too, cry out in the same way. Yet, we must remember that our God remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Unlike humans, God does not change His word or His promises. This truth should fill our hearts with love and gratitude.

        His mercy reminds us that we do not stand before Him by our own righteousness but by His grace. His blessings are not only material but spiritual, giving us wisdom, peace, and a heart that delights in Him.

        As we seek His shining face, may we also reflect His light to those around us, becoming vessels of His love and grace. Let our lives be a testimony of His goodness so that others may come to know and glorify Him. Numbers 6:24-25 says: "The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you.

Reflection: Am I embracing God's constant compassion in every moment, trusting His unwavering support to guide my path, and allowing His grace to transform my heart so that I reflect His love to others?

தேவரீர் எங்களுக்கு இரங்கி, எங்களை ஆசீர்வதித்து, உம்முடைய முகத்தை எங்கள்மேல் பிரகாசிக்கப்பண்ணும். சங்கீதம் 67:2.

            நம்முடைய தேவன் நம்மேல் மிகுந்த இரக்கமும் கிருபையும் உள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார். சங்கீதக்காரன் அடிக்கடி தேவனிடம் அவருடைய அன்பான தயவை வெளிப்படுத்தும்படி மன்றாடுகிறார், நம்முடைய கஷ்ட காலங்களில், நாமும் அதே வழியில் கூப்பிடுகிறோம். ஆனால், நம்முடைய தேவன் நேற்றும் இன்றும் என்றும் மாறாதவராகவே இருக்கிறார் என்பதை நாம் நினைவில் கொள்ள வேண்டும். "நான் உன்னைவிட்டு விலகுவதுமில்லை, உன்னைக் கைவிடுவதுமில்லை" (எபிரெயர் 13:5) என்று அவர் வாக்குத்தத்தம் செய்திருக்கிறார். மனிதர்களைப் போலல்லாமல், தேவன் தம்முடைய வார்த்தையையோ வாக்குறுதிகளையோ மாற்றுவதில்லை. இந்த உண்மை நம் இதயங்களை அன்பாலும் நன்றியாலும் நிரப்ப வேண்டும்.

            நம்முடைய சொந்த நீதியினால் அல்ல, அவருடைய கிருபையினால் நாம் அவருக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கிறோம் என்பதை அவருடைய இரக்கம் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் பொருள் சார்ந்தவை மட்டுமல்ல, ஆவிக்குரியவை, நமக்கு ஞானத்தையும், சமாதானத்தையும், அவரில் பிரியமாயிருக்கிற இருதயத்தையும் தருகின்றன.

            நாம் அவரது பிரகாசமான முகத்தைத் தேடும்போது, நம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவர்களுக்கும் அவரது ஒளியைப் பிரதிபலித்து, அவரது அன்பு மற்றும் கிருபையின் பாத்திரங்களாக மாறுவோம். மற்றவர்கள் அவரை அறிந்துகொள்ளவும் மகிமைப்படுத்தவும் நமது வாழ்க்கை அவருடைய நன்மைக்கு சாட்சியாக இருக்கட்டும். எண்ணாகமம் 6: 24-25 சொல்லுகிறது: “கர்த்தர் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதித்து, உன்னைக் காக்கக்கடவர்.கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய முகத்தை உன்மேல் பிரகாசிக்கப்பண்ணி, உன்மேல் கிருபையாயிருக்கக்கடவர்.”

சிந்திக்க: ஒவ்வொரு கணத்திலும் தேவனின் நிலையான இரக்கத்தை நான் பெற்று, என்னை வழிநடத்த அவரது அசைக்க முடியாத ஆதரவை நம்பி, அவரது கிருபை என் இருதயத்தை மாற்ற அனுமதித்து, அவரது அன்பை பிறருக்கு பிரதிபலிக்கிறேனா?
