"Blog Y2 498 - Only God Restores the Soul"

For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul. Jeremiah 31:25. 

        God created us in His image, giving us a spirit, soul, and body. The body is given to us for our time on this earth, but when we leave, it returns to dust. The spirit returns to God, who gave it. However, the soul is of utmost importance, as it determines our eternal destiny.

        All our emotions, sorrow, weariness, and joy come from the soul. If our soul is well, everything else will be well. This is why the psalmist speaks to his soul, urging it to praise and worship God. We cannot restore or heal our own souls. Only God can.

        Today, He promises to refresh our weary souls, restore the joy we have lost, and satisfy and strengthen us. Let us surrender our entire being, "spirit, soul, and body," to Jesus Christ. Everything we are, belongs to Him. Trust and believe that only God can restore our lost joy and fill our souls with His divine peace. Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭7‬ ‭ says: “The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.”

Reflection: Am I truly surrendering my entire being to God, seeking His renewal for my soul, and trusting Him alone to restore my joy and strengthen my spirit?

நான் விடாய்த்த ஆத்துமாவைச் சம்பூரணமடையப்பண்ணி, தொய்ந்த எல்லா ஆத்துமாவையும் நிரப்புவேன். எரேமியா 31:25.

            தேவன் தம்முடைய சாயலில் நம்மைப் படைத்தார், நமக்கு ஒரு ஆவியையும், ஆத்துமாவையும், சரீரத்தையும் கொடுத்தார். உடல் இந்த பூமியில் நாம் இருக்கும் காலத்திற்காக நமக்கு வழங்கப்படுகிறது, ஆனால் நாம் வெளியேறும்போது, அது மண்ணுக்குத் திரும்புகிறது. ஆவி தன்னைக் கொடுத்த தேவனிடம் திரும்புகிறது. இருப்பினும், ஆத்துமா மிக முக்கியமானது, ஏனெனில் அது நமது நித்திய வாழ்வை தீர்மானிக்கிறது.

            நமது உணர்ச்சிகள், துக்கம், சோர்வு மற்றும் மகிழ்ச்சி அனைத்தும் ஆத்துமாவிலிருந்து வருகிறது. நம் ஆத்மா நன்றாக இருந்தால், மற்ற அனைத்தும் நன்றாக இருக்கும். இதன் காரணமாகவே சங்கீதக்காரன் தன் ஆத்துமாவோடு பேசுகிறார், தேவனைத் துதிக்கவும் வணங்கவும் அதை ஊக்குவிக்கிறார். நமது சொந்த ஆத்துமாக்களை நாம் மீட்டெடுக்கவோ குணப்படுத்தவோ முடியாது. தேவனால் மட்டுமே முடியும்.

            இன்று, சோர்ந்துபோயிருக்கும் நமது ஆத்துமாக்களுக்கு புத்துணர்ச்சி அளிப்பதாகவும், நாம் இழந்த மகிழ்ச்சியை மீட்டெடுப்பதாகவும், நம்மை திருப்திப்படுத்துவதாகவும், பெலப்படுத்துவதாகவும் தேவன் வாக்களிக்கிறார். நம்முடைய, "ஆவி, ஆத்துமா, சரீரம்" முழுவதையும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போமாக. நம்முடைய இழந்த மகிழ்ச்சியை மீட்டுத் தரவும், நம்முடைய ஆத்துமாவை தெய்வீக சமாதானத்தால் நிரப்பவும் தேவன் ஒருவரால் மட்டுமே முடியும் என்பதை நம்பி அவர் மீது முழுமையாகச் சார்ந்திருப்போம். சங்கீதம் 121:7 சொல்லுகிறது: “கர்த்தர் உன்னை எல்லாத் தீங்குக்கும் விலக்கிக் காப்பார்; அவர் உன் ஆத்துமாவைக் காப்பார்.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் உண்மையிலேயே என்னை  முழுவதும் தேவனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து, என் ஆத்துமாவுக்காக அவருடைய புதிதாக்குதலைத் தேடி, என் மகிழ்ச்சியை நிலைப்படுத்தி என் ஆவியை பெலப்படுத்த தேவனை மட்டுமே நம்புகிறேனா?
