"Blog Y2 499 - God's Word Stands Forever"

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Matthew 24:35.

        What a powerful assurance God has given us in this verse! Everything in this world, what we see, what we possess, and even our very lives, will one day fade away. Yet, His Word remains forever. The world offers deceptive hope, but God and His Word are the only unchanging and everlasting truth.

        People may make countless promises, but no one knows what the next moment holds. Unlike human words, which can change instantly, God’s Word is eternal, steadfast, and unshakable. His Word is alive and filled with the Spirit; it speaks to our hearts with clarity when we take the time to dwell in it.

        Psalm 1 reveals the blessings reserved for those who delight in God’s Word. Our trust must be anchored in His promises, for they are unchanging and true. No matter what trials or challenges we face, the answer is found in His Word. The heavens and the earth may pass away, but God’s Word will never lose its power. It will never return void but will always accomplish the purpose for which He has sent it (Isaiah 55:11). Let us cling to His Word in every moment of our lives, for in it lies our hope, strength, and eternal assurance. Isaiah 40:8 says: "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever."

Reflection: Am I placing my hope in temporary things, or am I anchoring my trust in the unshakable and eternal promises of God’s Word, which remains steadfast no matter the circumstances?

வானமும் பூமியும் ஒழிந்துபோம், என் வார்த்தைகளோ ஒழிந்துபோவதில்லை. மத்தேயு 24:35.

            இந்த வசனத்தில் தேவன் நமக்குக் கொடுத்துள்ள வல்லமையான உத்தரவாதம் எவ்வளவு அற்புதமானது! இந்த உலகில் உள்ள அனைத்தும், நாம் காண்பவை,, நம்மிடம் இருப்பவை, ஏன் நம் வாழ்க்கையும் கூட ஒரு நாள் மறைந்து போகும். ஆனாலும், அவருடைய வார்த்தை என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது. உலகம் ஏமாற்றும் நம்பிக்கையை அளிக்கிறது, ஆனால் தேவனும் அவருடைய வார்த்தை மட்டுமே மாறாத மற்றும் நித்திய சத்தியம்.

            மனிதர்கள் எண்ணற்ற வாக்குறுதிகளை அளிக்கலாம், ஆனால் அடுத்த கணம் என்ன நடக்கும் என்று யாருக்கும் தெரியாது. மனித வார்த்தைகள் எப்போதும் மாறக்கூடியவை, ஆனால் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை நித்தியமானது, உறுதியானது, அசைக்க முடியாதது. அவருடைய வார்த்தை ஜீவனும் ஆவியினால் நிரப்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; அதை நாடி தியானிக்கும்போது அது நம் இதயத்தோடு தெளிவாகப் பேசுகிறது.

            சங்கீதம் 1 கர்த்தருடைய வேதத்தில் பிரியமாயிருந்து தியானமாயிருக்கிற மனுஷனுக்கு  ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட ஆசீர்வாதங்களை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. நமது நம்பிக்கை அவருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களில் நிலைநிற்க வேண்டும், ஏனென்றால் அவை மாறாதவை மற்றும் உண்மையானவை. நாம் எந்தச் சோதனைகளையோ, சவால்களையோ எதிர்கொண்டாலும், அதற்கான பதில் அவருடைய வார்த்தையில்தான் உள்ளது. வானங்களும் பூமியும் ஒழிந்துபோகலாம், ஆனால் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை ஒருபோதும் அதன் வல்லமையை இழக்காது. அது ஒருபோதும் வெறுமையாய் தேவனிடத்திற்குத்  திரும்பாமல், அவர் எந்த நோக்கத்திற்காக அனுப்பினாரோ அந்த நோக்கத்தை எப்போதும் நிறைவேற்றும் (ஏசாயா 55:11).  நமது வாழ்வின் ஒவ்வொரு தருணத்திலும் அவருடைய வார்த்தையைப் பற்றிக்கொள்வோம், ஏனென்றால் அதில் நமது நம்பிக்கை, பெலன் மற்றும் நித்திய உத்தரவாதம் உள்ளது. ஏசாயா 40:8 சொல்லுகிறது: “புல் உலர்ந்து பூ உதிரும்; நமது தேவனுடைய வசனமோ என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் எனது நம்பிக்கையை தற்காலிகமானவற்றில் வைத்து இருக்கிறேனா? அல்லது எந்த சூழ்நிலைகளிலும் நிலைத்திருக்கின்ற தேவனின் உறுதியான மற்றும் நித்திய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களில் என் நம்பிக்கையை உறுதியாகப் பதித்திருக்கிறேனா?
