"Blog Y2 505 - Reflecting Christ’s Selfless Love"

By this, we know love because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 3:16.

        Love! It is vast and profound. In this world, most people love others only when they receive something in return. Every form of love here carries expectations. Yet, God created humanity to love one another selflessly.

        God’s love is beyond comparison, demonstrated through His ultimate sacrifice for our redemption. He knows our hearts and our love for Him, yet nothing matches the boundless love He has shown us. Giving His very life, He poured out everything, even His last drop of blood. Even now, His blood intercedes for us before God.

        In the same way, God calls us to love our fellow believers. Romans 5:5 tells us that God has poured His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. Because of this, we must express His love through our lives. Every action we take should reflect the love of Jesus within us. John 15:13 says: "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends."

Reflection: Am I demonstrating genuine, selfless love in my daily life, reflecting the love of Christ through my actions without expecting anything in return?

            அன்பு! அது பரந்து விரிந்தது, ஆழமானது. இந்த உலகில், பெரும்பாலானோர், பதிலுக்கு ஏதாவது பெறும்போது மட்டுமே மற்றவர்களை நேசிக்கிறார்கள். இங்கே அன்பின் ஒவ்வொரு வடிவமும் எதிர்பார்ப்புகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. ஆனாலும், தேவன் ஒருவரையொருவர் சுயநலமின்றி நேசிக்கவே மனிதனைப் படைத்தார்.

            தேவனுடைய அன்பு ஒப்பற்றது; இது நமது மீட்புக்காக அவரது இறுதி தியாகத்தின் மூலம் நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அவர் நமது இருதயங்களையும் அவர் மீதான நமது அன்பையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறார், ஆனாலும் அவர் காட்டிய அளவற்ற அன்புக்கு இணையானது எதுவும் இல்லை. தமது உயிரையே கொடுத்து, கடைசி இரத்தத்தின் சொட்டுவரை அவர் இழந்தார். இப்பொழுதும்கூட, அவருடைய இரத்தம் நமக்காக தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக பரிந்து பேசுகிறது.

            அதேபோல், நம் சக விசுவாசிகளை நேசிக்க தேவன் நம்மை அழைக்கிறார். பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் மூலமாக தேவன் தம்முடைய அன்பை நம் இருதயங்களில் ஊற்றினார் என்று ரோமர் 5:5 நமக்குச் சொல்கிறது. இதன் காரணமாக, நாம் அவருடைய அன்பை நம் வாழ்க்கையின் மூலம் வெளிப்படுத்த வேண்டும். நாம் செய்யும் ஒவ்வொரு செயலும் நமக்குள் இருக்கும் இயேசுவின் அன்பை பிரதிபலிக்க வேண்டும். யோவான் 15:13 சொல்லுகிறது: “ஒருவன் தன் சிநேகிதருக்காகத் தன் ஜீவனைக் கொடுக்கிற அன்பிலும் அதிகமான அன்பு ஒருவரிடத்திலுமில்லை.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் என் அன்றாட வாழ்க்கையில் உண்மையான, தன்னலமற்ற அன்பை வெளிப்படுத்தி, எதையும் எதிர்பாராமல் என் செயல்களின் மூலம் கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பை பிரதிபலிக்கிறேனா?
