"Blog Y2 507 - God Alone is My Refuge"

I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psalm 16:8.

        In this world, we can set many things before us, such as wealth, status, relationships, and security. Yet none of these can truly give us lasting peace or protection. No earthly thing can serve as our unshakable refuge.

        Only those who have experienced God’s love and presence can confidently declare, “I have set the Lord before me, and I shall not be shaken.” Our God is mighty, the Creator and Possessor of heaven and earth, the one true God before whom nothing can stand. When He speaks, His will is accomplished.

        If the Lord is our strength and we keep Him always before us, nothing in this world can move us. May God help us to continually experience His presence surrounding us. He will never abandon us at the hands of our enemies, and this hope will never fail us. Psalm 27:1 says: “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” 

Reflection: Am I relying on worldly things for security, or am I truly placing my trust in God, knowing that only His presence and power can give me lasting peace and protection?

கர்த்தரை எப்பொழுதும் எனக்கு முன்பாக வைத்திருக்கிறேன்; அவர் என் வலதுபாரிசத்தில் இருக்கிறபடியால் நான் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை. சங்கீதம் 16:8.

இந்த உலகில், செல்வம், அந்தஸ்து, உறவுகள் மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பு போன்ற பல விஷயங்களை நாம் நம் முன் வைக்க முடியும். ஆனால், இவை எதுவும் நமக்கு நீடித்த சமாதானத்தையோ பாதுகாப்பையோ வழங்க முடியாது. பூமியில் உள்ள எந்த ஒரு பொருளும் நமக்கு நிலையான அடைக்கலமாக சேவை செய்ய முடியாது.

தேவனுடைய அன்பையும் பிரசன்னத்தையும் அனுபவித்தவர்கள் மட்டுமே நம்பிக்கையுடன் அறிவிக்க முடியும், "கர்த்தரை எனக்கு முன்பாக வைத்திருக்கிறேன், நான் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை." நம்முடைய தேவன் வல்லமையுள்ளவர், வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் படைத்தவர், அவைகளுக்கு உரிமையாளர், அவர் மட்டுமே உண்மையான தேவன்; எதுவும் அவருக்கு முன்னிலையில் நிலைத்திருக்க முடியாது. அவர் பேசும்போது, அவர் சித்தம் நிறைவேற்றப்படுகிறது.

கர்த்தர் நம்முடைய பெலனாக இருந்து, நாம் அவரை எப்பொழுதும் நமக்கு முன்பாக வைத்திருந்தால், இந்த உலகத்தில் எதுவும் நம்மை அசைக்க முடியாது. நம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ள அவருடைய பிரசன்னத்தை தொடர்ந்து அனுபவிக்க தேவன் நமக்கு உதவுவாராக. எதிரிகளின் கைகளில் அவர் நம்மை ஒருபோதும் விட்டுவிட மாட்டார், இந்த நம்பிக்கை ஒருபோதும் நம்மை கைவிடாது. சங்கீதம் 27:1 சொல்லுகிறது: “கர்த்தர் என் வெளிச்சமும் என் இரட்சிப்புமானவர், யாருக்குப் பயப்படுவேன்? கர்த்தர் என் ஜீவனின் பெலனானவர், யாருக்கு அஞ்சுவேன்?”

சிந்திக்க: நான் பாதுகாப்புக்காக உலகப்பிரகாரமான காரியங்களை நம்பியிருக்கிறேனா, அல்லது தேவனின் பிரசன்னமும் வல்லமையும் மட்டுமே எனக்கு நீடித்த சமாதானத்தையும் பாதுகாப்பையும் கொடுக்க முடியும் என்பதை அறிந்து, நான் உண்மையிலேயே தேவன் மீது என் நம்பிக்கையை வைத்திருக்கிறேனா?
