"Blog Y2 510 - Live in Jesus' Radiant Light"

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.’ John 8:12.

        Yes, our Lord Jesus Christ is the Light of the world. If we follow Him and spend more time with Him, we will never walk in darkness. Just as the moon receives its light from the sun, we too must receive our light from God, the righteous Sun. Let us draw closer to Him and cultivate an intimate relationship with Him, allowing His radiant light to fill our lives and reflect His glory through us.

         "Light of life" is more than just guidance; it is salvation itself. Jesus, as the Light, entered a dark and broken world to rescue us from sin’s grip. Through His sacrifice on the cross, He defeated the darkness of sin and death, bringing eternal life to all who believe in Him. In John 1:4, we read, “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” This life-giving light restores what sin has destroyed. Just as light overcomes darkness, Jesus' light cleanses our hearts, giving us new life. We no longer live in fear or uncertainty when we place our faith in Him. Instead, we walk in His truth, filled with hope and purpose.

        May our prayer be this: “Lord, make us more like You. Give us hearts filled with love, and let Your face shine upon us.” As followers of Christ, we are called to remain in His light and reflect it to others. John 12:46 says: "I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness."

Reflection: Am I seeking to draw closer to Jesus, allowing His light to fill my life and transform my heart? Am I reflecting His love and truth to those around me, walking in His guidance and living with hope and purpose?

            ஆம், நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உலகத்திற்கு ஒளி. நாம் அவரைப் பின்பற்றி, அவருடன் அதிக நேரம் செலவிட்டால், நாம் ஒருபோதும் இருளில் நடக்க மாட்டோம். சந்திரன் அதன் ஒளியை சூரியனிடமிருந்து பெறுவது போல, நாமும் நம்முடைய ஒளியை நீதியுள்ள சூரியனாகிய தேவனிடமிருந்து பெற வேண்டும். நாம் அவரிடம் நெருங்கி வந்து, அவருடன் ஒரு நெருக்கமான உறவை வளர்த்துக் கொள்வோம், அவருடைய பிரகாசமான ஒளி நம் வாழ்க்கையை நிரப்பவும், அவரது மகிமையை நம் மூலமாக பிரதிபலிக்கவும் அனுமதிப்போம்.

            "ஜீவ ஒளி" என்பது வழிகாட்டுதலுக்கு மட்டும் அல்ல; அதுவே இரட்சிப்பு. இயேசு, பாவத்தின் பிடியிலிருந்து நம்மை மீட்க இருண்ட மற்றும் உடைக்கப்பட்ட உலகில் ஒளியாக, வந்தார். அவரது சிலுவைப் மரணத்தின் மூலம், அவர் பாவம் மற்றும் மரணத்தின் இருளை தோற்கடித்து, அவரை விசுவாசிக்கும் அனைவருக்கும் நித்திய ஜீவனைக் கொண்டுவந்தார். யோவான் 1:4ல், "அவருக்குள் ஜீவன் இருந்தது, அந்த ஜீவன் மனுஷருக்கு ஒளியாயிருந்தது" என்று வாசிக்கிறோம். இந்த ஜீவ ஒளி, பாவத்தினால் அழிந்த உலகை மீட்க்கிறது. ஒளி இருளை அகற்றுவதைப்  போல, இயேசுவின் ஒளி நம் இருதயங்களை சுத்தப்படுத்தி, நமக்கு புதிய ஜீவனைக் கொடுக்கிறது. நாம் அவரில் நமது விசுவாசத்தை வைக்கும்போது, இனி பயத்திலோ அல்லது நிச்சயமற்ற நிலையிலோ வாழ மாட்டோம். மாறாக, அவருடைய உண்மையில் நடந்து, நம்பிக்கையும் நோக்கமும் நிறைந்தவர்களாக வாழ்வோம்.

            நமது ஜெபம் இப்படியாக இருக்கட்டும்: "ஆண்டவரே, எங்களை உம்மைப்போல ஆக்கி, உம்முடைய அன்பால் நிறைந்த இருதயங்களை எங்களுக்கு அருளும். உமது முகத்தைக் எங்கள்மேல் பிரகாசிக்கச் செய்யும்." கிறிஸ்துவைப் பின்பற்றுபவர்களாகிய நாம், அவரது ஒளியில் நிலைத்திருக்கவும், அதை மற்றவர்களுக்கு பிரதிபலிக்கவும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். யோவான்12:46 சொல்லுகிறது: “என்னிடத்தில் விசுவாசமாயிருக்கிறவனெவனும் இருளில் இராதபடிக்கு, நான் உலகத்தில் ஒளியாக வந்தேன்.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் இயேசுவிடம் நெருங்கி வர முயன்று, அவருடைய ஒளி என் வாழ்க்கையை நிரப்பவும், என் இருதயத்தை மாற்றவும் அனுமதித்து, என்னைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவர்களுக்கு அவருடைய அன்பையும் சத்தியத்தையும் நான் பிரதிபலித்து, அவருடைய வழிகாட்டுதலில் நடந்து, நம்பிக்கையுடனும் நோக்கத்துடனும் வாழ்கிறேனா?
