"Blog Y2 511 - God's Word Transforms Lives"

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7.

        There are countless books in this world that are interesting and can provide worldly knowledge, but they cannot protect our souls from evil. Though they may bring temporary happiness, most books capture our interest only once. The Word of God, however, is different. When we read and meditate on it, it protects, renews, and restores our souls.

        The testimony of the Lord is more than just words; it is the very foundation of salvation. Jesus Christ, the living Word, embodies God's testimony in the flesh. To receive His testimony is to embrace the message of salvation and the truth that Jesus died for our sins, rose again, and invites us to walk with Him. When we accept this truth, our lives are transformed. His testimony leads us out of darkness into His marvelous light. As we walk with Jesus daily, His sure and steadfast Word shapes our thoughts, decisions, and actions, giving us confidence to follow His path.

        No matter how many times we read the Bible, each time it gives us fresh, beautiful insights to guide and guard our souls. Truly, the commands of our Lord are trustworthy, and His testimony makes even the simple and innocent wise and great! This is the power of God’s Word and law. Psalm 119:105 says: "Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path."

Reflection: Am I actively immersing myself in God's Word, allowing His truth to shape my thoughts, renew my heart, and guide my steps each day?

            இந்த உலகில் எண்ணற்ற புத்தகங்கள் உள்ளன, அவை சுவாரஸ்யமானவை மற்றும் உலக அறிவை வழங்க முடியும், ஆனால் அவை நம் ஆத்துமாக்களை தீமையிலிருந்து பாதுகாக்க முடியாது. அவை தற்காலிக மகிழ்ச்சியைத் தரக்கூடும் என்றாலும், பெரும்பாலான புத்தகங்கள் ஒரு முறை மட்டுமே நம் ஆர்வத்தை ஈர்க்கின்றன. ஆனால், தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை வேறு. நாம் அதை வாசித்து தியானிக்கும்போது, அது நம் ஆத்துமாக்களை பாதுகாக்கிறது, புதுப்பிக்கிறது, மீட்டெடுக்கிறது.

            கர்த்தருடைய சாட்சி வெறும் வார்த்தைகளைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிகம்; அதுவே இரட்சிப்பின் அஸ்திபாரம். ஜீவனுள்ள வார்த்தையாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, மாம்சத்தில் தேவனுடைய சாட்சியை உருவகப்படுத்துகிறார். அவருடைய சாட்சியைப் பெறுவது என்பது இரட்சிப்பின் செய்தியையும், இயேசு நம்முடைய பாவங்களுக்காக மரித்து, மீண்டும் உயிர்த்தெழுந்து, அவருடன் நடக்க நம்மை அழைக்கிறார் என்ற சத்தியத்தையும் தழுவுவதாகும். இந்த உண்மையை நாம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது, நம் வாழ்க்கை மாறுகிறது. அவருடைய சாட்சி நம்மை இருளிலிருந்து அவருடைய அற்புதமான வெளிச்சத்திற்கு வழிநடத்துகிறது. நாம் தினமும் இயேசுவுடன் நடக்கும்போது, அவர் உறுதிப்படுத்தும் நிலையான வார்த்தை, நமது எண்ணங்கள் முடிவுகள் மற்றும் செயல்களை உருவாக்கி, அவருடைய பாதையில் செல்ல நமக்கு நம்பிக்கையைத் தருகிறது.

            நாம் எத்தனை முறை வேதாகமத்தை வாசித்தாலும், ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் அது நம் ஆத்துமாக்களை வழிநடத்தவும் பாதுகாக்கவும் புதிய, அழகான நுண்ணறிவுகளை அளிக்கிறது. மெய்யாகவே, நம்முடைய கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளைகள் நம்பகமானவை, அவருடைய சாட்சி எளியவர்களையும் அப்பாவிகளையும் கூட ஞானியாகவும் பெரியவர்களாகவும் ஆக்குகிறது! இதுவே தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை மற்றும் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் வல்லமை. சங்கீதம் 119:105 சொல்லுகிறது: “உம்முடைய வசனம் என் கால்களுக்குத் தீபமும், என் பாதைக்கு வெளிச்சமுமாயிருக்கிறது.”

சிந்திக்க: நான் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையில் தீவிரமாக மூழ்கி, அவருடைய சத்தியம் என் எண்ணங்களை வடிவமைக்கவும், என் இருதயத்தை புதுப்பிக்கவும், மற்றும் என் நடைகளை ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் வழிநடத்தவும் அனுமதிக்கிறேனா?
