"Blog Y2 519 - God’s Word Lights My Path"

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105. 

        Yes, God’s Word speaks to us, leading and guiding us. Just as a traveler relies on a lamp to guide each step through darkness, we must depend on Scripture to navigate the challenges and choices of life. As we have experienced and know, His Word is full of life, spirit, and power. Our feet will go where our heart and mind direct. If our hearts and minds are filled with His Word, then the Holy Spirit, who lives in us, continually brings His Word to our minds to guide our steps.

        Before Christ, we walked in spiritual darkness, lost and separated from God. But through His Word, God reveals that Jesus is the Light of the world. When we believe in Him, He rescues us from darkness and brings us into His marvelous light. Salvation is not merely a moment of decision; it is a lifelong walk illuminated by His truth. As we grow in faith, the Bible continues to light our way, shaping our hearts and drawing us closer to the One who saved us.

        When we fully surrender our will to God, He takes complete care of our lives. In moments of decision, we may not know what the next minute holds, but God does. The revelation of His Word makes our path clear. Just as a car’s headlights illuminate a dark road, His Word shines brightly in the darkness, revealing every hidden trap of the enemy that could hinder our progress. Proverbs 6:23 says: "For the commandment is a lamp, And the law a light; Reproofs of instruction are the way of life."

Reflection: Am I truly depending on God's Word to shape my heart, guide my choices, and lead me out of darkness into His marvelous light?

உம்முடைய வசனம் என் கால்களுக்குத் தீபமும், என் பாதைக்கு வெளிச்சமுமாயிருக்கிறது.  சங்கீதம் 119:105.

            ஆம், தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை நம்மிடம் பேசி, நம்மை வழிநடத்தும், வழிகாட்டியாக இருக்கிறது. இருளில் ஒவ்வொரு அடியையும் வழிநடத்த ஒரு பயணி ஒரு விளக்கை நம்பியிருப்பதைப் போலவே, வாழ்க்கையின் சவால்களையும் தேர்வுகளையும் வழிநடத்த நாம் வேதத்தை சார்ந்திருக்க வேண்டும். நாம் அனுபவித்தும் அறிந்தும் இருக்கிறபடி, அவருடைய வார்த்தை ஜீவனாலும், ஆவியாலும், வல்லமையாலும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது. நம் இதயமும் மனமும் எங்கு இருக்கிறதோ அங்கு நம் கால்கள் செல்லும். நமது இருதயமும் மனமும் அவருடைய வார்த்தையால் நிரப்பப்பட்டிருந்தால், நம்மில் வசிக்கும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர், நமது பாதையில் வழிநடத்த தொடர்ந்து அவருடைய வார்த்தையை நம் மனதில் கொண்டு வருகிறார்.

            கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நாம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கு முன், நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய இருளில் நடந்துகொண்டிருந்தோம், வழிதவறி, தேவனிடமிருந்து பிரிந்திருந்தோம். ஆனால் தேவன் தம்முடைய வார்த்தையின் மூலம், இயேசுவே உலகத்தின் ஒளி என்பதை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார். நாம் அவரை விசுவாசிக்கும்போது, அவர் நம்மை இருளிலிருந்து மீட்டு, அவருடைய அற்புதமான வெளிச்சத்திற்குள் நம்மைக் கொண்டு வருகிறார். இரட்சிப்பு என்பது வெறும் ஒருதடவை எடுக்கிற அனுபவம் மட்டுமல்ல; இது அவரது சத்தியமாகிய ஒளிக்குள் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் தொடரும் ஒரு நடையாகும்.. நாம் விசுவாசத்தில் வளரும்போது, வேதாகமம் தொடர்ந்து நம் பாதைக்கு ஒளியாயிருக்கிறது, நம் இதயங்களை சீரமைத்து, நம்மை இரட்சித்தவரிடம் நம்மை நெருங்க உதவுகிறது.

            நமது சித்தத்தை நாம் முழுமையாக தேவனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது, அவர் நம் வாழ்க்கையை முழுமையாக கவனித்துக்கொள்கிறார். தீர்மானங்களை எடுக்கும் தருணங்களில், அடுத்த நிமிடத்தில் என்ன நடக்கும் என்பதை நாம் அறியாமல் இருக்கலாம், ஆனால் தேவன் அறிவார். அவருடைய வார்த்தையைப் பற்றய அறிவு நமது பாதையை தெளிவுபடுத்துகிறது. ஒரு காரின் முகப்பு விளக்குகள் இருண்ட சாலையை ஒளிரச் செய்வது போல, அவருடைய வார்த்தை இருளில் பிரகாசமாக பிரகாசிக்கிறது, நமது முன்னேற்றத்தைத் தடுக்கக்கூடிய எதிரியின் ஒவ்வொரு மறைவான கண்ணியையும் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. நீதிமொழிகள் 6:23 சொல்லுகிறது: “கட்டளையே விளக்கு, வேதமே வெளிச்சம், போதகசிட்சையே ஜீவ வழி.”

சிந்திக்க: என் இருதயத்தை வடிவமைக்கவும், நான் முடிவுகளெடுக்க எனக்கு உதவி செய்யவும், இருளிலிருந்து அவருடைய அற்புதமான வெளிச்சத்திற்கு என்னை நடத்தவும் நான் உண்மையிலேயே தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையை சார்ந்திருக்கிறேனா?
