"Blog Y2 522 - Steady and Sustaining God's grace"

For so the Lord said to me, ‘I will take My rest, and I will look from My dwelling place like clear heat in sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. Isaiah 18:4.

        The verse from Isaiah reminds us that just as heat rises on a summer day and dew settles during harvest time, God is watching over us and working in our lives, even when we don’t perceive it. Heat does not appear suddenly, but gradually, we feel its warmth. Likewise, the dew forms quietly, yet we sense its refreshing touch. In the same way, we may not always see immediate signs of God’s hand at work, but in time, His mighty and marvelous works will become evident in our lives. 

        Through salvation, we experience the fullness of His presence. Before knowing Christ, we were lost, wandering without direction, striving in our own strength. But God, in His mercy, sent Jesus to be our Savior, to redeem and restore us. Just as the sun’s heat ripens the harvest, God’s grace matures us in faith. His dwelling is not only in the heavens but within the hearts of those who believe. In Him, we find peace, rest, and assurance that He is always in control, guiding us toward eternal life.

        Like the dew that nourishes the fields in harvest, His grace sustains us through every trial. We are called to rest in His promises, knowing that He never fails. In stillness and faith, we can wait upon Him, assured that He will fulfill His perfect plan in our lives. Psalm 139:9-10 says: “If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.”

Reflection: Am I trusting that God is always at work in my life, whether His presence feels as distant as the heat of the sun or as subtle as the morning dew?

நான் அமர்ந்திருந்து பயிரின்மேல் காயும் காந்தியுள்ள வெயிலைப்போலவும், அறுப்புக்காலத்து உஷ்ணத்தில் உண்டாகும் பனிமேகத்தைப்போலவும், என் வாசஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து கண்ணோக்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் என்னுடனே சொன்னார். ஏசாயா 18:4.

            கோடை காலத்தில் வெப்பம் அதிகரித்து, அறுவடைக் காலத்தில் பனித்துளி படிவதைப் போல, நாம் உணராவிட்டாலும், தேவன் நம்மைக் கண்காணித்து, நம் வாழ்வில் கிரியை செய்கிறார் என்பதை இந்த  வசனம் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. வெப்பம் திடீரென்று தோன்றாது, ஆனால் படிப்படியாக அதன் அனலை நாம்  உணர்கிறோம். அதேபோல், பனித்துளி நாம் உணராதபடி உருவாகினாலும், அதன் புத்துணர்ச்சியூட்டும் தன்மையை நாம் உணர்கிறோம். அதேபோல், தேவனுடைய கரம் செயல்படுவதற்கான உடனடி அறிகுறிகளை நாம் எப்போதும் காணாமல் இருக்கலாம், ஆனால் காலப்போக்கில், அவருடைய வல்லமையுள்ள மற்றும் அற்புதமான செயல்கள் நம் வாழ்வில் தெளிவாகத் தெரியும். 

            இரட்சிப்பின் மூலம், அவரது பிரசன்னத்தின் நிறைவை நாம் அனுபவிக்கிறோம். கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவதற்கு முன்பு, நாம் தொலைந்து போனோம், திசைதெரியாமல் அலைந்து திரிந்தோம், நமது சொந்த பலத்தில் போராடினோம். ஆனால் தேவன், தம்முடைய இரக்கத்தினாலே, நம்மை மீட்கவும் மீட்டெடுக்கவும் இயேசுவை நமது இரட்சகராக அனுப்பினார். சூரியனின் வெப்பம் அறுவடையை முதிர்ச்சியடையச் செய்வது போல, தேவனின் கிருபை விசுவாசத்தில் நம்மை முதிர்ச்சியடையச் செய்கிறது. அவருடைய வாசஸ்தலம் பரலோகத்தில் மட்டுமல்ல, விசுவாசிகளின் இதயங்களிலும் உள்ளது. அவரில், சமாதானம், இளைப்பாறுதல் மற்றும் எப்போதும் நம்முடைய காரியங்களை கவனித்து, நித்திய ஜீவனை நோக்கி நம்மை வழிநடத்துகிறார்.

            அறுவடையின் போது வயல்களுக்கு ஊட்டமளிக்கும் பனியைப் போல, அவருடைய கிருபை ஒவ்வொரு சோதனையிலும் நம்மைத் தாங்குகிறது. அவர் ஒருபோதும் தவறுவதில்லை என்பதை அறிந்து, அவருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களில் இளைப்பாற நாம் அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். அமைதியாகவும், விசுவாசத்துடனும் நாம் அவரை எதிர்நோக்கும்போது, அவர் நம் வாழ்வில் தன் சரியான திட்டத்தைக் நிறைவேற்றுவார் என்பதை உறுதியாக நம்பலாம். சங்கீதம் 139:9-10 சொல்லுகிறது: “நான் விடியற்காலத்துச் செட்டைகளை எடுத்து, சமுத்திரத்தின் கடையாந்தரங்களிலே போய்த் தங்கினாலும், அங்கேயும் உமது கை என்னை நடத்தும், உமது வலதுகரம் என்னைப் பிடிக்கும்.”

சிந்திக்க: தேவனுடைய பிரசன்னம் சூரியனின் வெப்பத்தைப் போல தொலைவில் இருந்தாலும் அல்லது காலை பனியைப் போல எளிதில் காணமுடியாததாக இருந்தாலும், தேவன் என் வாழ்க்கையில் எப்போதும் செயல்படுகிறார் என்று நான் நம்புகிறேனா?
