"Blog Y2 526 - Rejoice in the LORD"

 

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Philippians 4:4.

        Rejoice! Just hearing this word fills our hearts with joy. But notice the emphasis, again, in this verse. Often, we associate joy with favorable circumstances when life is peaceful, calm, and everything seems to be going well. As God’s children, our joy is different. Even when we face storms, challenges, and uncertainties, we can still rejoice. Why? Because the God who created the heavens and the earth is the One who holds our lives in His hands. 
        Joy in the Lord is not dependent on our situation but on the unchanging truth of His salvation. When we remember His grace, His promises, and His faithfulness, our hearts are lifted beyond our troubles. True joy is rooted in knowing that we belong to Him, that our sins are forgiven, and that He is with us in every season of life. Even in trials, we can rejoice because our hope is secure in Christ.
        The same God who walked on water and turned water into wine is with us. He desires His children to be filled with joy, not just any joy, but the deep, unshakable joy that comes from trusting Him completely. When we truly love and believe in Him, we can rest in the assurance that nothing happens in our lives without His permission. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 says: "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing."

Reflection: Am I finding my joy in God’s unchanging promises and presence, or am I allowing my circumstances to dictate my happiness, forgetting that He holds my life securely in His hands?

கர்த்தருக்குள் எப்பொழுதும் சந்தோஷமாயிருங்கள்; சந்தோஷமாயிருங்கள் என்று மறுபடியும் சொல்லுகிறேன். பிலிப்பியர் 4:4.

சந்தோஷமாயிருங்கள்! இந்த வார்த்தையைக் கேட்கும்போதே நம் இருதயம் சந்தோஷத்தால் நிரப்பப்படுகிறது. ஆனால், இந்த வசனத்தில் மறுபடியும் என்று குறிப்பிடப்பட்டிருப்பதை கவனிக்கவும். பெரும்பாலும், நாம் மகிழ்ச்சியை சாதகமான சூழ்நிலைகளோடு இணைத்துக் கொள்கிறோம்; வாழ்க்கை அமைதியாகவும் சீராகவும் சென்றுகொண்டிருந்தால், நாம் மகிழ்வோம். ஆனால், தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாகிய, நமது மகிழ்ச்சி வேறுபட்டதாகும். குழப்பமான சூழ்நிலைகள், சவால்கள், மற்றும் நிச்சயமின்மை ஆகியவற்றை எதிர்கொள்ளும்போதுகூட மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்க்கலாம். ஏனெனில், வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உருவாக்கிய தேவன் நமது வாழ்வை தம் கரங்களில் வைத்திருக்கிறார்.

கர்த்தரில் மகிழ்ச்சி நமது சூழ்நிலையைப் பொறுத்தது அல்ல, ஆனால் அவரது இரட்சிப்பின் மாறாத சத்தியத்தைப் பொறுத்தது. அவருடைய கிருபையையும், அவரது வாக்குத்தத்தங்களையும், அவருடைய உண்மையையும் நாம் நினைவுகூரும்போது, நமது இதயங்கள் நமது பிரச்சனைகளுக்கு அப்பால் உயர்த்தப்படுகின்றன. நாம் அவருக்குச் சொந்தமானவர்கள், நம்முடைய பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன, வாழ்க்கையின் ஒவ்வொரு பருவத்திலும் அவர் நம்முடன் இருக்கிறார் என்பதை அறிவதில் உண்மையான மகிழ்ச்சி வேரூன்றியுள்ளது. சோதனைகளிலும் நாம் சந்தோஷப்படலாம், ஏனென்றால் நம்முடைய நம்பிக்கை கிறிஸ்துவில் பாதுகாப்பாக இருக்கிறது.

தண்ணீர்மேல் நடந்த, தண்ணீரைத் திராட்சரசமாக மாற்றிய அதே தேவன் நம்மோடு இருக்கிறார். அவருடைய பிள்ளைகள் மகிழ்ச்சியால் நிரப்பப்பட வேண்டும் என்று அவர் விரும்புகிறார், எந்த மகிழ்ச்சியும் அல்ல, ஆனால் அவரை முழுமையாக நம்புவதால் வரும் ஆழமான, அசைக்க முடியாத மகிழ்ச்சி. நாம் உண்மையிலேயே அவரை நேசித்து விசுவாசிக்கும்போது, அவருடைய அனுமதியின்றி நம் வாழ்வில் எதுவும் நடக்காது என்ற நிச்சயத்தில் நாம் இளைப்பாறலாம். 1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர்5:16-17 சொல்லுகிறது: “எப்பொழுதும் சந்தோஷமாயிருங்கள். இடைவிடாமல் ஜெபம்பண்ணுங்கள்.”

சிந்திக்க: தேவனின் மாறாத வாக்குறுதிகள் மற்றும் பிரசன்னத்தில் நான் என் மகிழ்ச்சியைக் அனுபவிக்காமல், என் சூழ்நிலைகள் என் மகிழ்ச்சியைக் கட்டுப்படுத்த அனுமதித்து, தேவன் என் வாழ்க்கையை அவருடைய கைகளில் பாதுகாப்பாக வைத்திருக்கிறார் என்பதை மறந்துவிடுகிறேனா?
