"Blog Y2 531 - Choose Life, Walk in Spirit"

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6.
        In this world, there are two kinds of mindsets. The flesh directs one, and the other is controlled and guided by the Spirit. Human beings are made of three parts: body, soul, and spirit. When we leave this world, our soul will face eternity. If our spirit walks in alignment with the Holy Spirit, it will lead us to life and peace. But if we are guided by our own thoughts and allow our flesh to rule over us, it will lead us to eternal death.
        God never forces anyone to choose the right path. Instead, He gently and lovingly reminds us again and again. On the other hand, Satan tries to feed our hearts with many worldly desires. But the choice is ours. Two paths lie before us; one leads to life and the other to death. The decision is in our hands. Our God knocks gently on the door of our hearts. He never breaks it down or forces His way in.
        Let us commit our lives to God, our loving Father. Let us open our hearts to listen to Him. May He help us choose the right path, one that leads to true life and lasting peace. Galatians 6:8 says: “For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.”

Reflection: Am I choosing to cultivate a mindset that honors the Spirit, resisting desires of flesh and aligning my thoughts with God’s truth, so that I may experience eternal life rather than destruction?

மாம்சசிந்தை மரணம்; ஆவியின் சிந்தையோ ஜீவனும் சமாதானமுமாம். ரோமர் 8:6.

            இந்த உலகத்தில் இரண்டு விதமான மனப்பாங்குகள் உள்ளன. மாம்சம் ஒன்றை வழிநடத்துகிறது, மற்றொன்று ஆவியானவரால் கட்டுப்படுத்தப்பட்டு வழிநடத்தப்படுகிறது. மனிதர்கள் உடல், ஆத்மா மற்றும் ஆவி ஆகிய மூன்று பகுதிகளால் ஆனவர்கள். நாம் இந்த உலகத்தை விட்டுச் செல்லும்போது, நமது ஆத்துமா நித்தியத்தை எதிர்கொள்ளும். நமது ஆவி பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரோடு ஒத்துப்போனால், அது நம்மை ஜீவனுக்கும் சமாதானத்திற்கும் வழிநடத்தும். ஆனால் நம்முடைய சொந்த எண்ணங்களால் நாம் வழிநடத்தப்பட்டு, நம்முடைய மாம்சம் நம்மை ஆள அனுமதித்தால், அது நம்மை நித்திய மரணத்திற்கு வழிநடத்தும்.

            சரியான பாதையை தேர்வு செய்ய தேவன்  ஒருபோதும் யாரையும் வற்புறுத்துவதில்லை. அதற்கு பதிலாக, அவர் மெதுவாகவும் அன்பாகவும் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறார். மறுபுறம், சாத்தான் பல உலக ஆசைகளால் நம் இருதயங்களை நிரப்ப முயற்சிக்கிறான். ஆனால் நாம்தான் தேர்வு செய்யவேண்டும். இரண்டு பாதைகள் நமது முன் உள்ளன: ஒன்று ஜீவனை நோக்கி, மற்றொன்று மரணத்தை நோக்கி. முடிவு நம் கையில்தான் உள்ளது. நம் தேவன் நம் இருதயத்தின் கதவை மெதுவாகத் தட்டுகிறார். அவர் ஒருபோதும் அதை உடைத்தோ அல்லது வலுக்கட்டாயமாகவோ உள்ளே நுழைய மாட்டார்.

            நம் வாழ்க்கையை நம் அன்பான பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கு அர்ப்பணிப்போமாக. அவருக்குச் செவிகொடுக்க நமது இருதயங்களைத் திறப்போமாக. உண்மையான ஜீவனுக்கும் நிலையான சமாதானத்திற்கும் வழிநடத்தும் சரியான பாதையைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்க அவர் நமக்கு உதவுவாராக. கலாத்தியர் 6:8 சொல்லுகிறது: “தன் மாம்சத்திற்கென்று விதைக்கிறவன் மாம்சத்தினால் அழிவை அறுப்பான்; ஆவிக்கென்று விதைக்கிறவன் ஆவியினாலே நித்தியஜீவனை அறுப்பான்.”

சிந்திக்க: ஆவியானவரை கனப்படுத்தி, மாம்சத்தின் ஆசைகளை எதிர்த்து, என் எண்ணங்களை தேவனுடைய சத்தியத்தோடு ஒழுங்குபடுத்தி, அழிவுக்குப் பதிலாக நித்திய ஜீவனை அனுபவிக்க தெரிந்துகொள்ளுகிறேனா?
