"Blog Y2 537 - Rejoicing in Eternal Salvation"

But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. Psalms 13:5. 

As the psalmist declares, his trust is in God’s mercy. While people and worldly authorities may show mercy, we cannot rely on them completely. All earthly things and people will disappear; their promises and mercy are fleeting. His mercies endure forever. When we place our confidence in His unwavering love, we find peace in the midst of uncertainty. 

Above all, His salvation is priceless. No one else can redeem us from our sinful life. Our Lord Jesus Christ gave His life as a living sacrifice to redeem us and to offer us the precious gift of salvation. It is by His grace that we are saved, not by our works, so that no one can boast. This salvation not only secures our eternity but transforms our present walk with Him.

Nothing in this world can give us true and lasting joy. The pleasures and entertainments of life may provide momentary happiness and satisfaction, but only His salvation brings deep and eternal rejoicing. Let us, like King David, rejoice in His salvation and delight in Him. Even in seasons of waiting or sorrow, His salvation gives us reason to sing. Psalm 27:1 says: "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"

Reflection: Am I placing my trust in God’s eternal mercy, finding peace in His unwavering love, and rejoicing in His priceless salvation, even amidst uncertainty, while rejecting the temporary joys of this world?

நான் உம்முடைய கிருபையின்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருக்கிறேன்; உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பினால் என் இருதயம் களிகூரும். சங்கீதம் 13:5.

சங்கீதக்காரன் அறிவிக்கிறபடி, அவரது நம்பிக்கையை தேவனுடைய  இரக்கத்தில் வைத்து இருந்தார். மனிதர்களும், உலக அதிகாரிகளும் சில சமயங்களில் இரக்கம் காண்பிக்கக்கூடும், ஆனால் நாம் அவர்கள்மீது முழுமையாக நம்பிக்கையுடன் இருக்க முடியாது. உலகப் பொருட்கள் மற்றும் மக்கள் அனைத்தும் மறைந்துவிடும், அவர்களின் வாக்குத்தத்தங்களும் இரக்கமும் தற்காலிகமானவை. அவருடைய இரக்கங்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கும். அவருடைய அசைக்க முடியாத அன்பில் நமது நம்பிக்கையை வைக்கும்போது, நிச்சயமற்ற தன்மையின் மத்தியில் சமாதானத்தைக் காண்கிறோம். 

எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மேலாக, அவருடைய இரட்சிப்பு விலைமதிப்பற்றது. நம்முடைய பாவ வாழ்க்கையிலிருந்து நம்மை வேறு யாராலும் மீட்க முடியாது. நம்மை மீட்கவும், இரட்சிப்பின் விலையேறப்பெற்ற பரிசை நமக்கு அளிக்கவும் நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தம்முடைய ஜீவனைக் கொடுத்தார். அவருடைய கிருபையினாலேயே நாம் இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிறோம், நம்முடைய கிரியைகளினால் அல்ல, அதனால் ஒருவரும் பெருமைபாராட்ட முடியாது. இந்த இரட்சிப்பு நமது நித்தியத்தை பாதுகாப்பது மட்டுமல்லாமல், அவருடனான நமது தற்போதைய நடையை மாற்றுகிறது.

இந்த உலகில் எதுவும் நமக்கு உண்மையான, நிலையான மகிழ்ச்சியைத் தர முடியாது. வாழ்க்கையின் இன்பங்களும் பொழுதுபோக்குகளும் தற்காலிக மகிழ்ச்சியையும் திருப்தியையும் அளிக்கலாம், ஆனால் அவருடைய இரட்சிப்பு மட்டுமே ஆழமான மற்றும் நித்திய மகிழ்ச்சியைக் கொண்டுவருகிறது. தாவீது ராஜாவைப் போல நாம் அவரது இரட்சிப்பில் மகிழ்ந்து, அவரில் களிகூரக்கடவோம். காத்திருப்பு அல்லது துக்கத்தின் காலங்களில் கூட, அவரது இரட்சிப்பு நமக்கு பாடுவதற்கு அனுகூலமாக இருக்கிறது. சங்கீதம் 27:1 சொல்லுகிறது: “கர்த்தர் என் வெளிச்சமும் என் இரட்சிப்புமானவர், யாருக்குப் பயப்படுவேன்? கர்த்தர் என் ஜீவனின் பெலனானவர், யாருக்கு அஞ்சுவேன்?”

சிந்திக்க: நான் இந்த உலகத்தின் தற்காலிக சந்தோஷங்களை விலக்கி, தேவனின் நித்திய இரக்கத்தில் என் நம்பிக்கையை வைத்து, அவருடைய அசைக்க முடியாத அன்பில் சமாதானத்தைக் கண்டு, நிச்சயமற்ற நிலையின் மத்தியிலும் அவருடைய விலைமதிப்பற்ற இரட்சிப்பில் களிகூருகிறேனா?
