"Blog Y2 538 - Power in Jesus’ Mighty Name"

If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:14.

What a powerful promise from our triune God! The name of Jesus is so mighty that even the gates of hell tremble at its mention. As His children, we are truly privileged to call upon His name, a name above every name.

In the world, people may use the names of influential figures to gain access or favor. But in the heavenly realm, there is only one name that carries true authority and eternal weight, “the name of Jesus Christ”. He has graciously given us the right to ask in His name, and when we do so, we can be assured that we are not stepping outside His will.

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can approach God’s presence with confidence, knowing that our prayers offered in the name of Jesus, reach His heart. He hears, He responds, and He moves. The impossible becomes possible when we pray in His name. Let us not take this privilege lightly. With reverence and boldness, let us ask, believe, and trust because our Lord Jesus has promised, “I will do it.” John 16:23 says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.”

Reflection: Am I boldly calling upon the mighty name of Jesus, trusting His promise, and praying with faith, knowing that He hears, responds, and works beyond what I can imagine?

என் நாமத்தினாலே நீங்கள் எதைக்கேட்டாலும் அதை நான் செய்வேன். யோவான் 14:14.

நம்முடைய திரியேக தேவனிடமிருந்து வந்த வல்லமைவாய்ந்த வாக்குத்தத்தம் எவ்வளவு மகத்வமானது! இயேசுவின் நாமம் மிகவும் வல்லமையானது, பாதாளத்தின் வாசல்கள் கூட அதை உச்சரிக்கும்போது நடுங்குகின்றன. உண்மையிலேயே நாம் அவருடைய பிள்ளைகளாக, எல்லா  நாமத்திற்கும் மேலான நாமமாகிய அவரது நாமத்தைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளும் சிலாக்கியத்தைப் பெற்றிருக்கிறோம்.

உலகத்தில், பலர் முக்கியமான நபர்களின் பெயர்களை பயன்படுத்தி அனுமதி அல்லது கௌரவம் பெற முயலுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் பரலோகத்தில், உண்மையான அதிகாரத்தையும் நித்திய மகிமையும் கொண்ட ஒரே ஒரு பெயர் மட்டுமே உள்ளது, அது "இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பெயராகும்". அவருடைய நாமத்தில் கேட்கும் உரிமையை அவர் நமக்கு கிருபையாய் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார், நாம் அவ்வாறு செய்யும்போது, நாம் அவருடைய சித்தத்திற்கு வெளியே அடியெடுத்து வைக்கவில்லை என்று உறுதியாக நம்பலாம்.

பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரால் பெலப்படுத்தப்பட்டு, இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில் செய்யப்படும் நமது ஜெபங்கள் அவருடைய இருதயத்தை அடைகின்றன என்பதை அறிந்து, நாம் நம்பிக்கையுடன் தேவனின் பிரசன்னத்தை அணுகலாம். அவர் கேட்கிறார், அவர் பதிலளிக்கிறார், அவர் செயல்படுகிறார். அவருடைய நாமத்தில் நாம் ஜெபிக்கும்போது சாத்தியமற்றது சாத்தியமாகும். இந்த சலுகையை நாம் சாதாரணமாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டாம். பயபக்தியோடும் தைரியத்தோடும், "நான் இதைச் செய்வேன்" என்று நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு வாக்குத்தத்தம் பண்ணியிருக்கிறபடியால், விசுவாசித்து நம்புவோம். யோவான் 16:23 சொல்லுகிறது: “நீங்கள் என் நாமத்தினாலே பிதாவினிடத்தில் கேட்டுக்கொள்வதெதுவோ அதை அவர் உங்களுக்குத் தருவார்.”

சிந்திக்க: தேவனுடைய வாக்குறுதியை நம்பி, விசுவாசத்துடன் ஜெபித்து, அவர் கேட்கிறார், பதிலளிக்கிறார், நான் கற்பனை செய்ய முடியாததற்கு அப்பால் செயல்படுகிறார் என்பதை அறிந்து, நான் இயேசுவின் வல்லமையான நாமத்தை தைரியமாக கூப்பிடுகிறேனா,?
