"Blog Y2 550 - God’s Promises Never Fail"

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. Hebrews 10:36.

We all receive many promises from God. But the promises given by our Heavenly Father are not like those made by humans. The promises of men can change; they are often unstable and unreliable. But our God lives forever, and His promises are unchanging and irrevocable. If He has spoken it, it will be done.

What He asks of us is simple: to endure in our faith. He is not a man that He should lie or change His mind. He is a faithful God. His grace and love for us never change, and neither do His promises. In Christ, every promise is “Yes” and “Amen.”

Let us take time to remember all the promises He has given us. Even if we may have forgotten them, He never does. He will fulfill every promise, without fail, in His perfect and appointed time. We need to be patient, for His timing is always right and flawless. Let us also strive to do His will faithfully as we wait. James 1:12 says: “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”

Reflection: Am I fully trusting that God’s promises are unchanging and irrevocable, knowing that unlike human promises, His word will always be fulfilled as He has spoken it?

நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படி செய்து, வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணப்பட்டதைப் பெறும்படிக்குப் பொறுமை உங்களுக்கு வேண்டியதாயிருக்கிறது. எபிரெயர் 10:36.

இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் அனைவரும் தேவனிடமிருந்து பல வாக்குறுதிகளைப் பெறுகிறோம். ஆனால் மனிதர்கள் அளிக்கும் வாக்குறுதிகளைப் போல அல்ல, பரம பிதாவிடமிருந்து  வரும் வாக்குறுதிகள். மனிதர்கள் அளிக்கும் வாக்குறுதிகள் மாறலாம், அவை பெரும்பாலும் நிலையற்றவை மற்றும் நம்பமுடியாதவை. ஆனால் நம்முடைய தேவன் என்றென்றும் வாழ்கிறார், அவருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் மாறாதவை, மாற்ற முடியாதவை. அவர் பேசியிருந்தால் அது நிறைவேறும்.

நமது விசுவாசத்தில் நிலைத்திருக்க அவர் நம்மிடம் கேட்கிறார். அவர் பொய் சொல்லவோ அல்லது தனது மனம் மாறவோ ஒரு மனிதன் அல்ல. அவர் உண்மையுள்ள தேவன். நம்மீது அவருடைய கிருபையும் அன்பும் ஒருபோதும் மாறுவதில்லை, அவருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களும் மாறுவதில்லை. கிறிஸ்துவில், ஒவ்வொரு வாக்குத்தத்தமும் "ஆம்" என்றும்  "ஆமென்" என்றும் ஆகும்.

அவர் நமக்குக் கொடுத்த அனைத்து வாக்குத்தத்தங்களையும் நினைவுகூர நேரம் ஒதுக்குவோம். நாம் அவற்றை மறந்திருந்தாலும், அவர் ஒருபோதும் மறக்கமாட்டார். அவர் ஒவ்வொரு வாக்குறுதியையும் தமது, நியமிக்கப்பட்ட நேரத்தில் தவறாமல்  பரிபூரணமாக 

நிறைவேற்றுவார். அவருடைய சரியான நேரத்திற்காக நாம் பொறுமையாக  காத்திருந்து அவருடைய சித்தத்தை உண்மையுடன் செய்ய முயற்சி செய்வோமாக. யாக்கோபு 1:12 சொல்லுகிறது: "சோதனையைச் சகிக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்; அவன் உத்தமனென்று விளங்கினபின்பு கர்த்தர் தம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறவர்களுக்கு வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணின ஜீவகிரீடத்தைப் பெறுவான்.”

சிந்திக்க: மனித வாக்குறுதிகளைப் போலல்லாமல், தேவனுடைய  வார்த்தை அவர் பேசியபடியே எப்போதும் நிறைவேறும் என்பதை அறிந்து, அவரின்வாக்குறுதிகள் மாறாதவை மற்றும் மாற்ற முடியாதவை என்று நான் முழுமையாக நம்புகிறேனா?
