"Blog Y2 559 - Peace Begins with Prayer"

Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces. Psalm 122:7.

May God bless each one of us with this promise! Yes, indeed, He will surely place peace and prosperity within our families.

Our Lord Almighty loves Jerusalem, and He calls His children to bless and pray for its peace. As spiritual Israelites, chosen by God, we are to love what He loves. Just as God loves His children, we too should love them and earnestly pray for their peace.

When we do this, the same blessings will come upon us. The peace we pray for will begin to govern our lives, and the prosperity we seek for others will flow into our own homes. Like many of God’s promises, this one also comes with a condition: we must first pray for the peace of Jerusalem. When we obey this call, we can be confident that God’s promise will be fulfilled in our lives, confirmed, true, and overflowing. Isaiah 32:18 says: “My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.”

Reflection: Am I faithfully praying for the peace of Jerusalem, loving what God loves, and trusting that as I bless others in prayer, He will pour peace and prosperity into my own life?

தேவன், இந்த வாக்குறுதியால் நம் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் ஆசீர்வதிப்பாராக! ஆம், நிச்சயமாகவே, அவர் நம் குடும்பங்களில் சமாதானத்தையும் செழிப்பையும்  நிலைநாட்டுவார்.

நமது சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தர் எருசலேமை நேசிக்கிறார், மேலும் அவர் தனது பிள்ளைகளை அதன் அமைதிக்காக ஆசீர்வதித்து ஜெபிக்க அழைக்கிறார். தேவனால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட ஆவிக்குரிய இஸ்ரவேலர்களாகிய நாமும், அவர் நேசிக்கின்றதை நேசிக்க வேண்டியவர்கள். தேவன் தம்முடைய பிள்ளைகளை நேசிப்பது போல, நாமும் அவர்களை நேசித்து அவர்களுடைய சமாதானத்திற்காக ஊக்கமாக ஜெபிக்க வேண்டும்.

இதை நாம் செய்யும்போது, அதே ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் நம்மீது வரும். நாம் ஜெபிக்கும் சமாதானம் நம் வாழ்க்கையை ஆளத் தொடங்கும், மற்றவர்கள் செழிக்க  நாம் ஜெபிக்கும் ஜெபம்  நம் சொந்த வீடுகளில் பாயும். தேவனுடைய பல வாக்குறுதிகளைப் போலவே, இதுவும் ஒரு நிபந்தனையுடன் வருகிறது: நாம் முதலில் எருசலேமின் சமாதானத்திற்காக ஜெபிக்க வேண்டும். இந்த அழைப்புக்கு நாம் கீழ்ப்படிந்தால், தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தம் நம் வாழ்வில் நிறைவேறும், உறுதிப்படுத்தப்படும், உண்மையாகும், நிரம்பி வழியும் என்று நாம் உறுதியாக நம்பலாம். ஏசாயா 32:18 சொல்லுகிறது: “என் ஜனம் சமாதான தாபரங்களிலும், நிலையான வாசஸ்தலங்களிலும், அமைதியாய்த் தங்கும் இடங்களிலும் குடியிருக்கும்.”

சிந்திக்க: எருசலேமின் சமாதானத்திற்காக நான் உண்மையுடன் ஜெபிக்கிறேனா? தேவன் நேசிப்பதை நேசித்து, நான் ஜெபத்தில் மற்றவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்போது, அவர் என் சொந்த வாழ்க்கையில் சமாதானத்தையும் செழிப்பையும் ஊற்றுவார் என்று நம்புகிறேனா?
