But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children. Psalm 103:17.

Our loving Father’s mercy, love, and grace endure forever. He pours out His mercy and grace especially on those who love and fear Him, including their children and grandchildren. Let us walk in this love, cling to His mercy, and trust in His promise to bless our children’s children with His righteousness.

We clearly understand that we cannot live or walk through this world without His mercy and grace. It is only through His compassion that we are sustained. May our gracious God help us to grow in love and reverent fear of Him day by day. We welcome the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with deeper love for our Heavenly Father.

Not only does He cover us with His mercy, but He also establishes His righteousness and goodness in our lives and extends it to our future generations. What does the Lord require of us? A heart that fears Him, not with dread, but with holy reverence and love. When we truly love God, the fear of the Lord will naturally take root in our lives. As the Lord declares in Psalm 23:6, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,” this promise holds true for us and for our children.

Reflection: Am I truly walking in God’s mercy and love each day, allowing His reverent fear to grow in me, so that I may pass His righteousness on to future generations?

கர்த்தருடைய கிருபையோ அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்கள்மேலும், அவருடைய நீதி அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளுடைய பிள்ளைகள்மேலும் அநாதியாய் என்றென்றைக்கும் உள்ளது. சங்கீதம் 103:17.

நம் அன்பு பிதாவின் இரக்கமும், அன்பும், கிருபையும் என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும். அவரை நேசிப்பவர்களுக்கும், அவருக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கும், அவர்களுடைய பிள்ளைகள் மற்றும் பேரப்பிள்ளைகளுக்குக் கூட அவர் தம்முடைய கிருபையையும் இரக்கத்தையும்  ஊற்றுகிறார். இந்த அன்பில் நடப்போமாக, அவருடைய இரக்கத்தைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு, நமது பிள்ளைகளின் பிள்ளைகளை அவருடைய நீதியினால் ஆசீர்வதிப்பேன் என்ற அவரது வாக்குறுதியில் நம்பிக்கை வைப்போம்.

அவருடைய இரக்கமும் கிருபையும் இல்லாமல் நாம் இந்த உலகத்தில் வாழவோ நடக்கவோ முடியாது என்பதை நாம் தெளிவாக புரிந்துகொள்கிறோம். அவருடைய இரக்கத்தின் மூலமே நாம் நிலைநிறுத்தப்படுகிறோம். நம் கிருபையுள்ள தேவன் நாம் நாளுக்கு நாள் அவரிடத்தில் அன்பிலும் பயபக்தியிலும் வளர உதவுவாராக. பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர்  நம்முடைய இருதயங்களை நம் பரலோக பிதாவுக்கான ஆழ்ந்த அன்பால் நிரப்பும்படி இடங்கொடுப்போம்.

அவர் தம்முடைய இரக்கத்தால் நம்மை மறைப்பது  மட்டுமல்லாமல், அவருடைய நீதியையும் நன்மையையும் நம் வாழ்வில் நிலைநாட்டி, அதை நமது எதிர்கால சந்ததியினருக்கு விரிவுபடுத்துகிறார். இறைவன் நம்மிடம் எதிர்பார்ப்பது என்ன? பயத்தோடு அல்ல, பரிசுத்த பயபக்தியோடும் அன்போடும் அவருக்குப் பயப்படும் இருதயம். நாம் உண்மையாக தேவனை நேசிக்கும்போது, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் இயல்பாகவே நம் வாழ்வில் வேரூன்றும். சங்கீதம் 23:6-ல் கர்த்தர் அறிவிக்கிறபடி, "என் ஜீவனுள்ள நாளெல்லாம் நன்மையும் கிருபையும் என்னைத் தொடரும்." இந்த வாக்குத்தத்தம் நமக்கும் நம் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் உண்மையாயிருக்கிறது.

சிந்திக்க: ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் தேவனுடைய இரக்கத்திலும் அன்பிலும் நான் உண்மையிலேயே நடந்து, அவருடைய பயபக்தி என்னில் வளர அனுமதித்து, அதனால் அவருடைய நீதியை எதிர்கால சந்ததியினருக்கு நான் அளிக்கிறேனா?
