"Blog Y2 575 - Held by God’s Power"

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17.

What a powerful and comforting promise the Lord has given to His beloved children!

Our God is not a distant observer, silently watching us struggle through life’s storms. He is the God of Covenant, faithful, ever-present, and unchanging. He does not sleep nor slumber. His eyes are constantly upon us, watching over us with a love deeper than we can comprehend.

He has engraved us on the palms of His hands, and our lives, our every need, fear, and cry, are always before Him. He is not indifferent to our battles. He does not keep silent when the enemy speaks against His children. God responds when even one person rises to accuse or judge us unjustly. As it says in (Psalm 2:4), He who sits in the heavens laughs at the plans of the enemy, because they cannot stand against His sovereign power.

When weapons are formed against us, be it slander, injustice, spiritual attacks, or trials, they will not prosper. They may be forged, but they will fall powerless. Why? Because our God is greater, and we are His. He is our Father, our Defender, and our Shield. No one and nothing can prevail against the children of the Most High God.

So when we face hardship, we can lift our heads and say with holy confidence:

“My God is my Father!
He is for me, not against me.
I will not fear,
For no weapon formed against me shall succeed.
The Lord is my righteousness, and I belong to Him!”

This is our heritage as servants and sons and daughters of the Lord. Our righteousness is not earned, but freely given through Jesus Christ. And this unshakable identity protects and empowers us every single day. Jeremiah 1:19 says: “They will fight against you but shall not prevail, for I am with you,” says the Lord, “to deliver you.”

Reflection: Am I living with the confidence that I am never alone, and am I trusting that no opposition can succeed because I belong to the One who defends and upholds me?

உனக்கு விரோதமாய் உருவாக்கப்படும் எந்த ஆயுதமும் வாய்க்காதேபோம், உனக்கு விரோதமாய் நியாயத்தில் எழும்பும் எந்த நாவையும் நீ குற்றப்படுத்துவாய், இது கர்த்தருடைய ஊழியக்காரரின் சுதந்தரமும், என்னாலுண்டான அவர்களுடைய நீதியுமாயிருக்கிறதென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். ஏசாயா 54:17.

கர்த்தர் தமது அன்பான பிள்ளைகளுக்கு அளித்துள்ள சக்திவாய்ந்ததும் ஆறுதலானதுமான வாக்குறுதி எவ்வளவு அற்புதமானது!

நமது தேவன் வாழ்க்கையின் புயல்களில் நாம் போராடுவதை அமைதியாகப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் ஒரு தொலைதூரப் பார்வையாளர் அல்ல. அவர் உடன்படிக்கையின் தேவன், உண்மையுள்ளவர், என்றென்றும் இருக்கிறார், மாறாதவர். அவர் தூங்குவதும் இல்லை, உறங்குவதுமில்லை. அவருடைய கண்கள் எப்பொழுதும் நம்மீது இருக்கின்றன, நாம் புரிந்துகொள்ள முடியாத ஆழமான அன்புடன் நம்மைக் கண்காணித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.

அவர் நம்மை அவரது உள்ளங்கைகளில் வரைந்துள்ளார், நமது வாழ்க்கை, நமது ஒவ்வொரு தேவையும், பயமும், அழுகையும், எப்போதும் அவருக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறது. நம்முடைய போராட்டங்களில் அவர் அலட்சியமாக இருப்பது இல்லை. சத்துரு தன் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பேசும்போது அவர் அமைதியாக இருப்பதில்லை. நம்மை அநியாயமாக குற்றம் சாட்ட அல்லது நியாயந்தீர்க்க ஒரு நபர் எழும்பும்போது தேவன் பதிலளிக்கிறார். (சங்கீதம் 2:4)-ல் சொல்லுகிறபடி, பரலோகத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிறவர் சத்துருவின் திட்டங்களைக் கண்டு நகைக்கிறார், ஏனென்றால் அவருடைய இறையாண்மை வல்லமைக்கு எதிராக அவர்களால் நிற்க முடியாது.

நமக்கு எதிராக அவதூறு, அநீதி, ஆன்மீக தாக்குதல்கள் அல்லது சோதனைகள் ஆயுதங்கள் உருவாக்கும்போது, எதுவாக இருந்தாலும், அவை வெற்றி பெறாது. அவை உருவாக்கப்படலாம், ஆனால் சக்தியற்றவையாக வீழ்ந்து போகும். ஏன்? ஏனென்றால், நம்முடைய தேவன் பெரியவர், நாம் அவருடையவர்கள். அவரே நம்முடைய பிதா, நம்முடைய பாதுகாவலர், நம்முடைய கேடகம். உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்கு எதிராக யாரும், எதுவும் மேற்கொள்ள முடியாது.

எனவே நாம் துன்பங்களை சந்திக்கும்போது, நம் தலைகளை உயர்த்தி, பரிசுத்த நம்பிக்கையுடன் கூறலாம்::

“என் தேவன் என் பிதாவாக இருக்கிறார்!

அவர் என் பக்கம் உள்ளவர், எனக்கு எதிராக அல்ல.

நான் அஞ்சமாட்டேன்,

எனக்கு எதிராக உருவாக்கப்படும் எந்த ஆயுதமும் வெற்றி பெறாது.

கர்த்தர் என் நீதி; நான் அவருக்குச் சொந்தமானவனாக இருக்கிறேன்!”

இது தான் கர்த்தரின் ஊழியக்காரராகவும், மகன்களாகவும், மகள்களாகவும் நாம் பெற்றிருக்கும் சுதந்திரம். நம்முடைய நீதி சம்பாதிக்கப்படவில்லை, ஆனால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலம் இலவசமாகக் கொடுக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த அசைக்க முடியாத அடையாளம் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நம்மைப் பாதுகாத்து, நமக்கு அதிகாரம் அளிக்கிறது. எரேமியா 1:19 சொல்லுகிறது: "அவர்கள் உனக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம்பண்ணுவார்கள், ஆனாலும் உன்னை மேற்கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள், உன்னை இரட்சிக்கும்படிக்கு நான் உன்னுடனே இருக்கிறேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். 

சிந்திக்க: நான் ஒருபோதும் தனியாக இல்லை என்ற நம்பிக்கையுடன் வாழ்ந்து, என்னைப் பாதுகாத்து ஆதரிப்பவருக்கு நான் சொந்தமானவன் என்பதால் எந்த எதிர்சக்தியும் என்னை வெற்றிபெற முடியாது என்று நான் நம்புகிறேனா?
