"Blog Y2 585 - Guided by Loving Shepherd"

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. Psalm 23:1,2.

What a beautiful promise and assurance God has given to us, His beloved children. Who is our friend and Shepherd? It is the Lord,  the very God who created the heavens and the earth. He alone sees the depths of our hearts, our true feelings, and our every need. He knows exactly which path is best for us and the place that is perfect for our souls to rest.

Jesus said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd." When we commit our ways to Him and rest in His presence, we will be fully satisfied. We will lack nothing. He leads us to peaceful, pleasant places, and there He pours out His abundant, unfailing love. He fills our hearts with joy and overflows us with His Holy Spirit.

What a privilege it is to have the Lord God as our Shepherd! There is truly no greater blessing. Isaiah 40:11 says: "He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young."

Reflection: Am I trusting the One who knows my deepest needs to lead me to peace and rest, filling my heart with joy and faith beyond what I can imagine?

கர்த்தர் என் மேய்ப்பராயிருக்கிறார்; நான் தாழ்ச்சியடையேன்.

அவர் என்னைப் புல்லுள்ள இடங்களில் மேய்த்து, அமர்ந்த தண்ணீர்கள் அண்டையில் என்னைக் கொண்டுபோய் விடுகிறார். சங்கீதம் 23:1,2.

கடவுள், தம்முடைய அன்புப் பிள்ளைகளாகிய நமக்கு எவ்வளவு அழகான வாக்குறுதியையும் உறுதியையும் தந்திருக்கிறார்! நமது நண்பரும் மேய்ப்பரும் யார்? வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் சிருஷ்டித்த ஆண்டவரே, அந்த தேவனே! நம் இருதயத்தின் ஆழத்தையும், நம் உண்மையான உணர்வுகளையும், நம் ஒவ்வொரு தேவையையும் அவர் மட்டுமே காண்கிறார். நமக்கு எந்தப் பாதை சிறந்தது என்பதையும், நம் ஆத்துமா இளைப்பாற சரியான இடம் எது என்பதையும் அவர் துல்லியமாக அறிவார்.

யோவான் 10:11-ல் இயேசு, "நானே நல்ல மேய்ப்பன்" என்று சொன்னார். நாம் நம் வழிகளை அவரிடம் ஒப்படைத்து, அவருடைய பிரசன்னத்தில் இளைப்பாறும் போது, நாம் முழுமையாகத் திருப்தியடைவோம். நமக்கு ஒரு குறையும் இருக்காது. அவர் நம்மை அமைதியான, இனிமையான இடங்களுக்கு நடத்துகிறார், அங்கே அவர் தம்முடைய ஏராளமும், என்றும் மாறாத அன்பையும் பொழிகிறார். அவர் நம் இருதயங்களை மகிழ்ச்சியால் நிரப்புகிறார், நம்மை அவருடைய பரிசுத்த ஆவியால் நிரம்பி வழியச் செய்கிறார்.

கர்த்தராகிய தேவன் நம் மேய்ப்பராக இருப்பது எவ்வளவு பெரிய பாக்கியம்! இதைவிடப் பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதம் வேறில்லை.

ஏசாயா 40:11 சொல்லுகிறது: “மேய்ப்பனைப்போலத் தமது மந்தையை மேய்ப்பார்; ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளைத் தமது புயத்தினால் சேர்த்து, தமது மடியிலே சுமந்து கறவலாடுகளை மெதுவாய் நடத்துவார்.”

சிந்திக்க:  என் ஆழ்ந்த தேவைகளை அறிந்தவர் என்னை சமாதானத்திற்கும் ஓய்வுக்கும் வழிநடத்தி, என் இருதயத்தை நான் கற்பனை செய்ய முடியாத மகிழ்ச்சியாலும் விசுவாசத்தாலும் நிரப்புவார் என்று நான் நம்புகிறேனா?
